Came in to test drive a car here. Their cars are cheap but mostly older and high mileage. No frills. They don't even try to thoroughly detail them -- just a regular wash/vacuum and thats it. They take a photo of you driver's license, give you the keys to the car you want to test drive, then off you go. If you liked the car, you but it. If not, they won't pressure you at all. We bought a Jeep Liberty Sport from Kazey a couple of months ago. When we bought it the engine light was on, Kazey said it was because he had just installed a new computer and that the engine light would go away soon. Well, it didn't. We brought the car back to Kazey who quickly checked the computer and said nothing was wrong. We went away on vacation hoping the car would calibrate on its own, since he said nothing was wrong. It didn't. Another issue is that the oil light kept coming on, we refilled the oil three times in the course of a month! We took our car to another mechanic and they told us that the spark plugs were old and that they needed to be replaced, as well as the coil. They also let us know that someone had done a shitty electrical job with the coil. So they car needed more specialized work. We called Kazey to let him know and he said to bring it in. When we did, he let us know that we would have to pay for 100% of the repairs when he knowingly sold us a faulty car AND kept gaslighting us when we knew something was wrong with it. I agree with John W. , Kazey is a liar. He is not to be trusted. I should have followed my gut. I even looked him straight int he eyes and said "I trust you" and he lied to my face. Never believe a used car salesman, but especially Kazey. Please save yourself the hassle and DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HIM. read more

We went to D & M knowing exactly which car we were after. Kazey had been responsive over the phone and text the day before and day of, and even accommodated us coming in half a minute before closing. (Apologies to his wife for making him miss dinner!) He was very no-nonsense, but also honest and un-hurried...unlike some others we've dealt with the past few weeks. My name is it in the data base because I purchased the car with my father present. when I got the car 3 days after the reverse was not working the best, the car also had a fuel pump issue... many more issues were present with the car than I was told. I told them about it and he said he would fix it with his "certified mechanic " I'm writing this to protect the buyers. DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE. yes he gets lucky with a few but most have issues its all auction cars from Arizona he told me it himself. He wrote he would give a refund which is not true! he just trys to keep you happy long enough for your 30 day warranty to pass! The 30 day warranty is also a scam he runs. He also charged me way over the blue book value I paid 6200 plus tax for a 2005 corolla. at the time I was desperate for a car, don't let your desperation take you here look elsewhere! let me tell you guys the funniest part of my purchase. so I bring my car in for "certified repair" and he gave me a "loaner car". the loaner car he gave me pretty sure was a 2002 Ford Explorer. it literally had the check engine light on that car and was feeling like it wouldn't even make it to my house safely ! It was the worst loaner car I've ever seen all the paint falling off just another way for him to scam you of your 30 day warranty without a refund. I bought a used 2011 Subaru from Kazey and he was straight forward, upfront, and offered a reasonable price. This was refreshing since other dealerships were telling us different prices once we arrived which was misleading. About a couple of months in, the Subaru had issues in which all of the lights started blinking. I took it into a local repair shop and they offered to either substitute another used transmission or to rebuild a new one however they were charging a lot of money. I called Kazey and he was able to order a used transmission from Japan and install it for a very reasonable price compared to the other place I went to. Kazey also offered an additional 3 month warranty and so far the car has been running great since then. After all was said and done, I appreciate buying from someone who tells it like it is. Although it wasn't ideal to have to go back to exchange for a different transmission so quickly, we still ended up paying in total less than what we would have had to pay for at other dealerships since he offered us a good price for the original purchase and as well as repairs. read more

Update: The owner replied to my review claiming that my transmission should be under dealer warranty until 120000 miles and to call the Nissan dealer. I had already called them, and this was not the case (only up to 60000 miles). Nonetheless, D&M Auto Sales most likely sold me this car KNOWING the transmission was faulty . I bought a car from them cash in early/mid-January . 2012 Nissan Altima , was "perfect " on the lot . Shortly after my warranty expired (I'm talking 2-3 days), my transmission goes out on me while I'm driving in the middle of the freeway . That cost 2700 to fix, almost half the amount I spent on that car . Oddly enough , my odometer had previously said a full tank of gas would last about 450 miles , and after I replaced my transmission it went to 300. I believe this 300, as my previous Nissan Altima had about the same gas mileage . Perhaps the broken transmission racked up my miles , also making my warranty expire . My windows stopped rolling up as well. Do NOT shop here , it seems genuinely nice and like a good deal at first , but it'll bring problems real shortly after you buy read more

So the used car market is just obscene right now. Any used cars with good mpg and known for reliability are really hard to find. Been scouring autotrader, Craigslist and OfferUp. It's like the housing market. Anyways woke up this morning with the intention of getting a car. Called D&M about this car and left a message. Alex got back to me within 5 minutes. I drove down and was greeted by Alex right away. He had washed the car and had it ready for me to see. Shows me the CarFax and let me take it for a test drive solo. Ended up making a deal shortly after. Alex is the person in charge of buying all the cars. He looks for 5-10k cars with clean histories and condition, which the rav4 was. Price on the car was lower than all other ads I saw across 4 platforms. Clean car, drove great, minor scuffs on the outside, but original. Talked for alex a bit while doing paperwork. He is a very honest car guy with integrity that more often times than not is lacking in the industry. My review speaks to my experience only. I know buying a used car is a mixed bag. Everyone at D & M auto was so friendly and hardworking! They were very honest, too. I purchased a 2006 VW bug from them that only had 57000 miles on it. They immediately got the key and let me sit inside and turn it on and they let me take my time looking at it. I didn't feel rushed once. They also were very open about showing me the car fax. I did financing through them and it took some time and negotiating to get the monthly payment right but that was expected. When I went to drive the car home, the AC wasnt blowing cold air so we told them and they offered to fix it for FREE. They replaced my air compressor for no extra charge and they allowed me to choose what day to bring it back in for the repair. They fixed it within a few hours, too. A few weeks later, I noticed the car was leaking a substantial amount of oil so I called them because I was still within their purchase warranty date, and they again worked with my schedule. Within 30 minutes of dropping it off, they called me with a diagnosis and told me I would pay only half of the charge since it was within the warranty. I called my usual repair shop to get an estimate for the same repair and it was the same full amount that they told me so I knew they were being truthful with the amount I would pay. They were very careful and even kept my car overnight just to ensure they had fixed the problem. When my boyfriend and I went to pick up the car, the mechanic was very kind and took his time to explain to me the issue and how he fixed it and even show me that he had used a brand new part in my car. The repair also came with an additional six month warranty on it. I highly reccomend this place for used cars. They have some great deals and the staff is very honest, helpful, and kind! read more
