I cant remember the mechanic's name that looked at my bike today. But i think it starts with a "J". Anyways, I"ll call him bottom bracket guy. I went afraid i might have to replace my bottom bracket (Expensive replacement) because there was alot of lateral wiggle in it. Another mechanic days earlier at REI, after just explaining the issue, bet it was just loose and may not need replacing. With high hopes of loose, Bottom Bracket Guy put it on the stand, and witha pull this way and a tug that-a-way, he looked at me said..."yup, it loose". And with that, whiped out a magic tool and with a turn this-a-way, and a twist that-a-way, my bottom bracket was fixed and the day was saved!! Some places would've told me it was broke and needed a new one which wouldve broken my bottom bracket!! Anyhow, an estatic thank you and again wonderful, honest service.

When I requested a fitting room, an employee (tag said Noelle) came out of that same fitting room and asked if I needed anymore help. When I entered the room, there was a strong marijuana odor and lingering smoke above. This prompted me to leave my items and exit with my children. Since this employee did not look too far off from my own kids ages, it was very disappointing to see. I already have to deal with children at school negatively influencing my kids. They should have never been exposed to something like that in a public retail store.

On a recommendation from our super nice server at The Open Oven restaurant, we stopped in to Take a Hike to grad a pair from him. We we happy to see that they allow pets/dogs in the store so that one of us wasn't stuck in the car with the pups. The store has tons of great clothes, shoes, socks and other supplies you might want for hiking. There is typically plenty of parking in the lot or nearby. Standard small town hours. The shop is clean and organized. They have a good sampling of outdoor gear. Lots of seasonal clothing, some camping gear and backpacks and some Knick knacks such as hydration tabs and stickers. There is a sale rack in back. Everything is very pricy as goes with outdoor gear shops especially small ones. I would still argue that it's pretty similar to the standard- not more expensive than REI or the like. I'd definitely recommend this place for a stop in. They have a nice curated selection. Plus it's always the season for a fun new outdoor toy to inspire you to get outside ;)

The place is massive and is located in the major retail and dining section, so park where you can. I went in there specifically for some snacks, but walked out with clothes, food, syrup, honey, and much more. They have multiple registers so it was a fast check out despite this place always appearing to be crowed. Also, they have a basement that looks more like a legit retail/clothing store than a general store and they also had a bunch of antiques around too. I was in awe of the old school cash register. Again, this is a must see and is great for the kids because of the authentic and homemade sweets and treats.
