I grew up in Riverside and D'elias was my mom's summer time go to. They make their own grinder rolls and they are the crunchy flaky outside type of bread that goes well with the oils they use. My favorite is ham and cheese with extra cheese. The potato salad is very good as well. Since I grew up with this place I may be biased. You will have to decide for yourself. But I find their grinders to be much fresher and better than any of the popular grinder chains read more

The bread was cold and hard. The cheese was not melted. The Au Jus sauce was not sent with the order. This was the worst sub I've ever had. The second sub was a turkey sub. Again, the bread was so hard it wasn't even enjoyable to eat. Our order after fees for 2 subs was $66 and it went into the trash. Subway and Jersey Mikes are both far better. Sad to say that. This was not what we expected from a grinder shop. You expect something better than your commercial competitors. No effort made in preparing this meal. Not cool at all. read more

I know everyone says it is the bread that makes the sandwich however maybe this first time visitor isn't used to firm hard dry crusty bread. They are very good at providing a large amount of meat on your sandwich. However, all of it was cut too thick to enjoy. The service was good for my takeout order and the cash register employee was very friendly. However, I'm just not a fan of your sandwich. The restaurant needed some sweeping and I know I arrived around 1 PM but someone needs to at least tend to the eating area to make sure, it is clean and presentable. Many of the tables had crumbs from the hard sandwich bread and those easily could've been wiped. I don't think I will be returning anytime soon. read more

Love this place. The food is so yummy especially if you like your bread on the crusty side. I believe it's homemade bread. My husband prefers more of a softer bread.
