We walked through how I typically get my haircut and we were set. Haircut is great, it's been a week and not regretting the price. The 30 minute head, neck, shoulder massage was unreal. So relaxing and I didn't want to get up. Eikoh is an amazing stylist and you can see his passion come through.

I have never been disappointed, and I am so glad I found Matthew and Mojo. Matthew's process is of the highest quality and is very consistent. Each haircut begins with a confirmation of my desired hairstyle. If I have any questions about barber terminology or potential changes, Matthew always explains things clearly and concisely. He is extremely professional while also being super down to earth. His haircuts are incredibly relaxing. So much so that I often find myself falling asleep in his chair. At the end of each haircut, he provides a handheld mirror to review the haircut and also offers product to style in case I am heading out somewhere after. I cannot recommend Matthew enough! I recently visited DJ Barber Shop in Honolulu, and I couldn't be more impressed! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and taken care of. The shop has a clean, modern vibe that makes you feel comfortable right away. I had the pleasure of getting my haircut from Lisa, and let me tell you, she is phenomenal at what she does! It's so easy to get a military cut on Oahu it can be difficult to not get one. This is a great place to get what you ask for. I came in for a cleanup cut before the weekend and I got a great cut. Exactly what I asked for. The hair above my ears is thicker than anywhere else on my head and it often looks like a cowlick on either side of my head if it's not handled well. I got a perfect cut and advice on how to handle this unruly part of my hair. The price here is too low for the quality of cut. $12 for a haircut. $10 for seniors. Crazy. Tip well and make this your shop. read more
