I have had an excellent experience with D.N. They are very comparative in price and care to solve any of your HVAC needs asap. They installed a new Air Conditioner (on my roof) in during a heat wave. They have great communication when it comes to providing service. They care! I also used them for a problem with my furnace, an electrical issue. They nailed it and installed a wireless remote which solved my wiring issue. Very knowledgeable. They are extremely rude, passive aggressive, and lack any customer service ability. Do not use this company unless you want to be spoken down to, hung up on, and told, "whatever" when trying to explain your needs. They were contracted though a home warranty company and failed to respond or schedule an appointment for days, which left me without air conditioning in 105 degree forecasted days for almost a week. They created excuses about their delay and failed to even provide a report to the home warranty company because they wanted to exercise their "power" to determine whether or not my claim was going to be covered or not. Their technician told me plain and simple that the AC unit needed replaced and then their management/customer service personnel, because of their attitude toward me, decided the technician couldn't file the report for the home warranty because I was forced to use another company to replace my air so I could live in my house again. They lacked any amount of empathy. All the equipment had just been taken out of my home moments prior to their appointment to look at the unit and the technician said he had everything he needed, including pictures of the diagnostics and proof that the AC needed to be replaced. The technician told me it all needed replaced and that he had everything he needed. This company is just mad they're not getting the work themselves and, rather than doing the right thing, they are claiming they don't have what they need for the report. Greedy, rude, inhuman behavior. Do not use. read more

The dispatcher for DN called soon after being assigned and scheduled a technician for the following day. The technician, Jesus, arrived a few minutes early, and fixed the problem quickly and efficiently. He actually checked a second unit to ensure that was working properly as well. Our home warranty company, First American, assigned D.N. Heating and Air Conditioning to help fix our AC during the heat wave a few weeks ago. They did not call me I had to call them because we needed to try to expedite our claim because we had a 10 week old at the time at home. They scheduled me an appointment for Thursday. That day I recieved a call in the morning to reschedule the time for an earlier time that day I called back to say that would be great and when I spoke to the woman she said that actually they wanted to keep the same time because they had an "emergency" call (another customer with a baby) I explained I had a baby too but it was fine I could wait. The technicians came out that Thursday and they diagnosed the issue took my $70 service fee and assured me that they would expedite this to the best of their ability. I did not receive a call after that for about 5 days so I finally called them and my claim had been closed. They then reopened my claim and told me they would come out Monday July 3rd to fix it. That morning I received a voicemail that they would come out that day and to call them back. I called them back and after talking I told them I was out of town but I would have somebody available to be there when they come to repair the AC. The woman I was speaking to said to me if it would be better they could come out on Wednesday the 5th to fix it, because it was going to be a 2 to 3 hour job, and I said that actually would work even better for us. On Wednesday I never received a call nor did they ever show up to fix the problem. I called my warranty company who then called them and they explain to them that I could not do it Monday because I was out of town and that their next appointment was not until July 20th. I have no reason to make up that they were coming Wednesday so I am unsure why all of a sudden they are claiming I was not working with them...either way my AC is still not repaired and after being given the run around another company will be completing my repairs. Overall I am very disappointed with the lack of customer service aside from the technicians that came out who were very friendly. read more

TERRIBLE!!! I did not have a choice to use DN due to a home warranty policy when my air conditioning unit went out. If I had the option I would NOT have used them. They didn't have all the parts and had to make two trips. Charge an additional xtra fee for some work which I am not sure they did. And spoke limited English. Within 45 days it was not working. A guy came back and said the part inside was bad without even looking at it. Spent two minutes outside looking at the unit to come to that determination. Then the office called me and said it would be another $750 to replace. They didn't warranty any of it! And the home warranty was past 30 days. Seriously?!?! What kind of scam was this???? The gal at the office said it would be two to three days for the part. That was in Tuesday. Never heard back from her again. No problem me ever came back or called to fix. Thank God my neighbor down the street did HVAC work. Much better work too! Terrible work and terrible customer service. If there were zero stars that is what I would give this company. Wow!! Finally heard back a 8 days after initial contact. I hat a joke. DON'T us this company unless you want to pay for below par work. read more

Miguel came by on time as scheduled. We didn't know why are central A.C. stopped working, but after he checked it out, it was fine. It turned out that we hadn't replaced the ceiling filters in years. Miguel was nice enough to tell us this and not charge us thing. I just needed to go down to our local hardware store and pick-up some new filters. I offered him some money for coming all the way out, he said he appreciated that but not to worry, and maybe let some friends know and give him a call if anything needed. From personal experience after having significant problems with my Air conditioning for the last year despite I have a home warranty account with 1st American home buyers protection, Miguel came out for the first time a couple weeks ago and solved the problem the first time by getting more detailed.
