We first heard about Matthew's from an Uber driver who insisted it was the only nearby spot for truly authentic Filipino dishes. Based on our lunch, he wasn't exaggerating. We ordered: Matt's Crispy Pata - a mini mountain of succulent fried pork shanks, bone‑in and beautifully crisp outside and juicy inside. The vinegar dip cut through the pork fat like a flavor katana.
