I was hoping the mixed reviews would be wrong but sadly this place was underwhelming. It was not particularly busy but everything took a long time: to get our order in, to get our food. The restaurant was cold, and there were buckets on the floor but I don't know why? My fish fry was just ok. Felt like the food was very generic/microwaved. Bloody Mary = good (all the usual ingredients but proper distribution and amounts) Cold beer = decent variety; would love to see a few other options. My crazy chicken sandwich was just ok. Grilled chicken, bacon, American and pepper jack cheese with crazy sauce. Nothing wrong with it but thought it would be spicier or more flavorful. But, still very good! Stopped in after a HS soccer game in Seymour. We were hungry and did not have too much time to eat. Service was on spot by getting us a table, drinks, and taking our order within 10 mins. Food came out within a very acceptable timeframe and was good. We got a fish entree, buffalo chicken wrap and nachos, fries were great. I have gone to Packer training camp 27 of the last 28 years. Missed the COVID year as there was no practice to the public. I generally stay at Best Western, and enjoy drinks and dining at D2. Not only during camp but when here for games. Tonight was the absolute worst night. There were only 9 people in here when we got here. Poor service from bartendar! Poor drink service from bartendar! We looked forward to our annual family vacation for months. The hotel we stayed at had partnered with local businesses (great marketing) and on our first night we decided to patronize D2 based on the 10% off advertised on the hotel room key. We ordered our food and were NOT given the discount. When I asked about it, the 'server' said, "I already processed the credit card and there's nothing I can do." Then proceeded to argue with me when I mentioned that it was only about $4. She said, "Yeah it's only $4, so what's the big deal?" Really!? For less than $4.00 you're gonna lose this customer forever!? (and hopefully more based on this review) There are PLENTY of other places to eat within walking distance of this place. Didn't even eat the food so I can't review that. Nice start to our vacation. Based on most of these other reviews, apparently I'm not alone. read more

I was told that the salad I ordered is no longer on the menu when I arrived to pick it up (...though it is on your website's menu). You made it anyways, as best that the kitchen could. But drizzling hot sauce over chicken is something I would expect from a fast food restaurant, not when I'm paying nearly $13 for the salad. read more

We visited as a group last week Sunday and the food was great, and our server was awesome. We came back again this Sunday as a group and all of us were super disappointed. The Packers were playing in Green Bay today and we didn't know there was a special game day menu. We were also told the prices were "game day prices". I don't think it's right to gouge local people just because it's a game day and then offer a limited menu on top of it. My husband order a Gyro that came with fries but he wanted to upgrade to cheese curds. Our waitress said it would just be an up charge (I figured $2) I got the bill and it was $9. Long story short, we will not be back. we come from hockey games every Sunday and really enjoyed our experience last week. Hey D2, don't jack up your prices because there's a game in town. you aren't even in the title town district. Shame on you. read more

These folks have done nothing but hustle, smile, and behave like complete professionals in spite of how many poorly-behaved drunks tried to harsh them, disrespect them and act like spoiled children not getting a cookie before bed time. Truly, truly, horrible. All these reviews saying the service was bad and the food good misled me. Good food with bad service is something I love in my dives. In actuality the service I received was great. I sat down, got my food order taken by helpful staff, and got my food within ten minutes. The problem was that the food was awful. The burger was sad, even with a fried egg it just looked miserable. The fries were the saltiest thing I've ever eaten. Half an hour later and I still can't feel my tongue. People say the wings are good, maybe they are, but right now I wouldn't be able to taste them. If all you want is some beer and to watch a game, this actually is probably your spot. They got TV's galore, and it sure is loud enough. read more

Everyone seemed friendly enough on a Saturday night, especially since the badgers had lost their game but when asking them to change the channel to the Big Ten network, we basically ran into a dead-end. "I'll see if he can change the channel" and then nothing ever transpired. Whatever. Just would've been nice for a sports bar, with 20+ TVs, to accommodate a couple of patrons that wanted to watch a different game than what they had on. Regardless, it was right across the street from our hotel and they had a shuttle that took us down to the Packer game. That part was nice but I would definitely not go out of my way to go here. read more

Typical sports bar with a menu. Lots of parking and lots of bar space with tables scattered about. I guess if I'm going here to drink beer, it's fine. It's a bit on the dirty side if I'm going to have a meal. Philly Cheesesteak had a good bun but went downhill from there. The beef was over cooked and tough, some pieces even burnt and hard. Cup of dipping sauce in a plastic container was luke warm. Food order was "held up" due to two large orders before us although there were no 'large groups' inside. French fries were typical restaurant cuts, nothing unique. You won't leave hungry, just asking if there's something better. read more

Stopped in for fish last Friday and I was pleasantly surprised. We just picked a table they had no hostess or anything which was fine a waitress came over right away. I got the perch sandwich and subbed wild rice for the potato option. Meal came out quickly and that sandwich was to die for good. I put the coleslaw and tarter sauce on the sandwich which came on like a cute little ciabatta bun. The wild rice was good not really seasoned but I liked it. I am unsure why with my sandwich they also gave me an additional piece of rye bread? That was the only strange thing. The location is spacious and a bit loud but I like the vibe of this place. Yesterday I sat down to have a few drinks before picking someone up at the airport. When I walked in at around 430 on Monday night it was pretty crowded. Happy hour was in order. I have read several comments regarding if you're not a regular you will be ignored. This was true for me. As I sat down and noticed people that were finishing drinks were getting refills. Other people walked in from outside sat down and got served before I did. It took about 10 minutes to get a drink but once I got my first one then the service was better. I think this place changed its name recently to D2, but everything is pretty much on the same course it has always been. There is a large wrap-around bar in the middle of the room. There's pool tables, TVs everywhere, and a karaoke stage. This place has gotten a bit grungy lately and looks like it could use a little refreshing. D2 has free popcorn to snack on and standard pub fare. The food is ok but nothing special. I had the chicken wrap and my mother had the reuben, and for sides we had fries and tots. My wrap was a little bland and my fries weren't that hot. For beer they offer a couple of slightly above average (for the area) taps where I can satisfy my admittedly snobby taste buds. You can have a fun Friday night here, but it's a little grimy in the daylight. read more

Super busy with diners on a Monday night right after 6 Happy Hour ended. Nightly drink and food specials. The patio was clean and weather perfect (sorry can't guarantee that!) The patio experience/smell was slightly marred for us by the occasional but steady wafting from smokers hanging out in the patio table closest to the door. We should have relocated around the corner to the firepit area - it's a huge patio. (This would be a great place to meet friends!) Gluten free pizza was good/acceptable - I've definitely had worse! Tasted good, crisp, no powdery texture. Waited at the door and finally walked to find someone to ask if we could get waited in if we sat on the patio. Service was *super friendly even of a bit thinly staffed. The chicken tenders were rather large and served on a generous bed of fresh hot crinkle cut fries - good but pretty much standard food service quality. The beer selection was huge. Went here for a late dinner expecting a late dinner from a dive bar well i was wrong. Food was fantastic. I had the wings which were on special, had the garlic parmesan (holy cow) and the whimpy (side of hot) and some tots. The wife had the Philly cheese steak and some tots as well. My wife could not stop talk about how good it was or how surprised she was they gave au ju with it. She doesn't usually finish her meals and she killed it. Small handful of over cooked and over salted fries. The wings however were good and what I asked for. Ordered the nacho tater tots. Got chips instead. At least she took it off my bill. Although I still wanted them, she just threw them out rather than offer to have them made correctly. Wouldn't have been so bad if the bartender wasn't rude to anyone that wasn't a regular. Horrible experience last night after the concert. Super slow service and awful food. Has gone downhill. Then they decided to kick out my husband and become physical with him for no reason. The security's reasoning was because he was puking.. when he was not. Then his excuse was "no he wasn't puking but he was about to" which also was false. We were waiting for food... couldn't even get a drink order in. Will never go back. Highly disappointed by the way the security guard was treating us for nothing done wrong. Sitting at the bar minding our own business. Also I should add the security guard punched my husband in the stomach.. again for no reason. My boyfriend was at D2, and to cure my New Years hangover brought me food to go. I ordered a hamburger with lettuce, tomato, and onion, as well as the chili cheese fries. The food was edible, and the fact I was hungover and starving helped. Otherwise, I would have been pissed. It is obvious they use the cheapest, lowest quality food possible. The hamburger was beat....cooked to hell...it was a cheap, thin patty. They do not give you the option of a temperature preference. You could get a juicier hamburger at disgusting Hardee's. The chili is obviously slop from a can, and the cheese is also processed, and out of a can. Unless your palette is used to low quality cafeteria type food, you may enjoy this place? I find it dissapointing that a place of business does not take a little more pride/effort into the product they are serving. I wouldn't serve that crap to my dog. read more

It's a bar. Nothing great or special. They have drink specials everyday they are open. If getting drunk on the cheap is your thing, it's a place to do that. If you'd like something a little more out of your bar than pitchers of the typical draft beer and wings, you might want to look else where. read more
