The Ube Sweet Bread was great! So glad we stopped on our driving tour. Recommend heating it up just a bit.

Finally made it to Da Bread Stand and got some yummy sweetbread (pineapple, mango, and Banana) and assorted cookies. Can't wait to try them. I love supporting small businesses.

You MUST STOP here when driving by. Easy area to park and the pineapple bread is AMAZING!!!! I love that it's pulled by a 4 wheeler so you know they're local and I definitely want to support local. Again, did I mention it was AMAZING!!

You can either drop some cash into the little metal box on the table or use the Venmo code under the lid. We picked up 3 loaves, some apple bananas, and avocados on our first day. Then, we went back near the end of our trip to get a few more! They were sold out, but there's a number to call and the baker's husband brought out a few piping hot loaves of bread. Wow!!! It's even more amazing when it's hot. I do a lot of baking and I make a lot of banana muffins, and even I'm impressed with Jeanette's skill. The bread is perfectly caramelized on the outside, the sprinkle of crushed mac nuts and sugar on top, with the moist interior is just perfect. Our kids were fighting daily at breakfast for the "end pieces", lol! We'll definitely be back someday! Mahalo!

The loaves are topped with a sweet topping containing macnuts that make it unique and better than the rest. It's moist and flavorful, definitely one of the best banana breads I've had while visiting the Hawaiian islands. It's also super affordable at $4 per loaf. You pay via honor system through Venmo. When we arrived around 6:15pm, there were no more loaves in the cooler but there were a few phone numbers with a note posted on the cooler that said to please call if there were no more loaves so they can bring some up :) The owners are super kind and happily brought up some more loaves so we can purchase some. I think they said they filled the cooler with 52 loaves before they left for the day! I don't have a picture of the loaves because we ate them so quickly but just trust me when I say this is a must stop and you won't regret it!

In the meantime, I ordered 3 specialty drinks: toasted coconut hot chocolate, chocolate chai latte, Mauka Trail mocha (with non-dairy Mac nut milk), and a Kona Coffee & chocolate gelato milk shake. Every beverage was delicious! The young lady, who made them was very sweet, friendly, and soft spoken. The young lady helping my brother with the sweets was also very nice & friendly. The interior was really cute with a section dedicated to keiki (children). There were tables and a seating area with couches and a little gift shop displaying colorful artwork by local artists all illuminated by interesting lighting. We definitely want to return before we leave to try their gelato. But, we will also pick up more desserts because their baked goods were truly scrumptious, which included Lilikoi pie, flourless chocolate cake, a variety of cannolis, cookies, and Ricotta pound cake. We were on a sugar high but that's vacation in Hawaii for you! Aloha!

I decided to stop halfway through my Turkey Waffle Sandwich (which was delicious and will definitely finish off when I have room) to help my kid finish her smoothie bowl since it was melting. No big deal! They do have smoothies, so we decided to try those out with a slice of cheesecake. I mean, because cheesecake. The employee here was super helpful and nice. Honestly, this location looks extremely popular for a late breakfast, and it makes sense to me: the menu was full of some yummy offerings. You felt like you were sitting in a very personal, old time diner where everyone would know each other. It was honestly very authentic, and I loved how we felt like we were at a friend's house. The smoothies were really good! Bright, vibrant flavors and very much needed after a busy morning. The cheesecake, well, it lasted about 2.5 seconds. Seriously sooo good and a nice little treat! I believe they make the cheesecake and other baked goods in-house, so that's a bonus. This wasn't what we were hunting for, but we were happy to stumble upon this cozy diner!
