Wow! Da Kine is da bomb! Growing up in Hawaii, I've always have had a love for Hawaiian dishes and poke just happens to be one of them. There have been a couple of places around town that I have had poke from, but this was the best! The portion size is huge and the fish and veggies were all so fresh. I almost didn't want to want to eat it because it was such a nice presentation. Oh and the pork Lumpia??? Delicious, almost as good as my aunties lol. Definitely worth the value too. I usually really like Da Kine and go there quite frequently for lunch. While the people are really friendly behind the counter, there seems to be a problem with consistency in the bowls. I usually do the build your own bowl and it seems like a crap shoot as to whether I will actually get all of the ingredients that I choose on the menu. Last time, I didn't get the red bell pepper that I requested or the soy sauce. This time, I didn't get the spicy mayo and only was given about a half cup of rice. Listen, I really hate to complain because - generally speaking - I really like the place. But, getting back to work and being disappointed by my lunch on numerous occasions just sucks, especially for the price. I'll probably give them another chance, but - if it's still not right, it makes me sad to say, that'll be it. I'm not wasting more money on a product that isn't what I'm paying for. read more

I really wanted to like this place, but it was just ok for me. Thought it would of remind me of the awesome poke I had in Hawaii, but it doesn't really come close for me. I ordered the traditional bowl with tuna and I would of preferred the sauce to be mixed with the tuna rather than drizzled on top. The tuna would of absorbed much more flavor that way. I had the Hawaiian Poke Bowl from the truck at Tasty Tuesday in the Milk District last night, and it was delicious (though I may forgo the onions next time, but only because the taste of everything else was so incredible and the onions were just... well... onions). The fish was fresh and everything was so well-balanced. Loved it! The only thing I was hoping for was more aloha spirit in the service. The lady taking orders was borderline unfriendly (the cook was great, though! very accommodating!), even though I was the only person in line. Fresh tasting flavor and ingredients. I built my own bowl with white rice, both ahi tuna and salmon, scallions, seaweed salad, masago, avocado, mango, cucumber and spicy mayo. The bowl overall was great and perfectly filling for a mid day snack. However, I took away 1 star because of the cutting and dicing of the fish and vegetables. The fish was cut very thick and chunky as opposed to small dicing I'm used to when it comes to poké. The portions (in my opinion) were not bad at all. You definitely get a good amount for what you pay for. Poké is usually on the pricey side because of the quality of fish. I could tell the fish was fresh! Honestly best poke in this area. Fish is always fresh. Rice is seasoned perfectly and not bland like other places. They give you a good amount of avocado for $1 extra. Average price for poke and plenty of toppings to choose from. They also have signature bowls, in case you don't want to build your own. I especially love the location in the meat house. Also you can buy sushi grade tuna and salmon from them! Tuna you can find but salmon is pretty rare. So if your in need look no further. read more

Located inside The Local Butcher & Market, Da Kine is great for a quick poke fix. I usually get the Hawaiian bowl with white rice, tuna and no ginger. The fish always tastes fresh, which is the most important thing when it comes to poke. My only complaint is they often run out of seaweed salad, but they usually just give more avocado to make up for it. read more

Since Maui...this is hands down the best Poké in town. I've tried them all. There's one in Maitland almost as delish.

So so so happy Orlando has poke bowls now. I could eat a form of this every day. And so so so happy they're on uber eats. I didn't have to put real clothes on or leave my house to get a poke bowl for Sunday night lazy dinner. Fresh, perfectly packed, great portion size and fast. And pretty reasonably priced for what you're getting, high quality fish and ingredients. I will be making many trips to the market for more bowls soon. read more

I loved the poke I had in Hawaii, and I have yet to find a place that is as good, but Da Kine Poke comes close-ish. The ingredients are fresh and they have a couple set poke bowls to choose from on top of build your own bowl. I built my own bowl and maybe I just didn't ask for enough sauce, but what I loved in Hawaii is that the rice was really soaked in the sauce so there was a good mixture. All the poke I've had in Orlando just doesn't do that. They add the rice separately then mix all the ingredients together but it just doesn't get that same level of sauce concentration. On top of that, it is a bit expensive at $12-13 per bowl. I'll give it a shot later and will come back. I'm just looking for that Hawaiian poke experience in Orlando and have yet to find that in this restaurant or others. read more

Seen the truck around my favorite bars several times but hadn't experienced it yet. I did stop in the meat house today and saw it so ordered the el diablo with tuna $13 and it was amazing. So fresh and so delicious! My friends had the Hawaiian with salmon $13 and then a Hawaiian with no protein $6 and devoured it as well. The presentation was so great too! Can't wait to go back :) I'm editing this now that I've had it ten times and it is the most consistent, tasty, fresh meal. The food truck was at a recent wake tournament and had a wait time and a line of 20+ people while the other two trucks were begging for customers. Waited few minutes for someone to show up after asking the meat counter. Ordered two bowls and asked about loyalty points (believe I was one bowl away from a free one). Guy says you do that after you pay. After paying it said I earned 0 points today. Ask what's up with that he says oh yeah system is down. Ok?? $12 for a small poke bowl is really steep for what you get. Mine was a tuna bowl with onions on top and let me tell you, my meal was overpowered with onion flavor. I expected more toppings but I was really disappointed and did not fill my hungry stomach. Excellent, first time I had it, and I used Uber eats to deliver it to me. I was hesitant at first based on some of the reviews that said the portions were small. I don't feel that way. The meal was very filling, and the tuna tasted extremely fresh. Even more surprising was that the spinach was very very fresh which is hard to find. all of the ingredients were high quality and I think the price was fair for what you get. The only criticism I have is that there is an upcharge for mango, but the mango portion was small and were just little bits of mango chopped up. But that is a small problem to me. Definitely will come back. The best thing is that you can feel good after you eat it, because its a very healthy meal. read more
