    dubai chocolate mochi

They had Bubs gummy candies and I nearly screamed--I LOVE Swedish bonbon-style candy, and these were just as yummy as I remembered. I also got the Dubai chocolate mochi, and fun fact: they source the pistachio cream and toasted kataifi pastry directly from Turkey. When my friend tried it, he said it was the best Dubai chocolate dessert he's ever had. It sells out fast, so if it's on the menu--do NOT skip it! It's expensive but worth trying!

I once went to a pop up at What the Truck in Waikele and was lucky enough to get exactly what I came for, the cookie butter stuffed mochi. It was so good that I wanted more, so I followed the business on Instagram and started going to their other pop ups at places like the Village Market in Pearlridge, Kapolei, and even Kaneohe. Each time I drove out, often pretty far, but every single time they had already "run out" of that specific mochi, even when I made sure to arrive within the first hour. The owner often boasts that they're always fully stocked, so I started to wonder if they were actually making enough of this item. My daughter ended up buying a couple of their other items, like Dubai chocolate bars for $20 each (which were small) and a "strawberry Dubai cup" that wasn't actually a cup but a little tray made by one of their kids. It was tiny and honestly overpriced for what it was. When I asked the owner how I could place an order, he told me to DM them on Instagram. I did that several times but never got a response. I also tried commenting on their posts, but their page limits comments so you can't. On a few joint posts with other businesses where comments were open, I tagged them and asked how to order. I even noticed other people asking the same thing, but none of us ever got a reply. Finally, I read their bio and saw a phone number to text for orders. I tried that too, multiple times over several months, and was still ignored. It's now been over six months of me trying to place an order, and I've never received a single response. At this point, I can't help but wonder what kind of business operates like this? Are they too good for certain customers? Or are they not attentive purposely? And why can't people comment? Super Sketchy, Beware.

I love these guys and their products! I literally seek them out whenever I'm on Oahu. They have a food truck that bounces around between the cities and they also attend some of the food events that are happening on the island. They are obviously known for their stuffed mochi, and my favorite one is their cookie butter crunch. It tastes just like the cookie butter that you can get at Trader Joe's, and the mochi is always so soft and shaped so perfectly. They also have many other flavors, like Oreo bomb, cocoa tilly, ube, etc., as well as seasonal flavors such as pumpkin crunch and other holiday flavors. In addition, they often sell items such as chichi dango, butter mochi and mochi ice cream parfait. Their menu changes often, but the best way to know where they'll be and what they'll be selling is by following them on Instagram. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is because sometimes they are late to set up at events. One time I waited for them for almost an hour at the "What the Truck" event in Kapolei. They were super late to arrive, and by the time they set everything up it was an hour later.

    Dubai chocolate strawberries

Tried the Dubai chocolate strawberries at the What the Truck event at Waikele. There were 2 sizes for this, one that was a small tray the size of your hand ($15 shown in picture) & $20 one in a bowl, that BARELY had just a little more than the tray. These are definitely overpriced for what was given. It looked like there was only 2-3 of chopped up strawberries in the tray. Ate it all in 3 bites. The flavor itself was alright, but the price definitely did not account for the quantity!! This looks like it should cost $5 instead of $15 smh.

First time trying their mochi today, picked up from sun windward mall farmers market. I was hesitant to purchase at first because it is very pricey but i always try to support local. Tried the kulolo, coco lilly, and cookie butter and they were all sooo good! Very happy with purchase! Also service was friendly and quick! Im looking forward to try more of their flavors!

Heard about them from social media and wanted to see what the hype was about. The line is always long but that's to be expected. After finally getting to the front of the line, it was so matter of fact, no greeting or smiling face. Put in my order and it was packed up quickly- the mochi are prepacked so it's just a matter of grabbing what you ordered. They have a great variety of flavors and we were excited to try it. The mochi was soft and chewy and the fillings as described. However the mochi is kind of on the small side, especially for the price you pay and in comparison to other stuffed mochi on the market. For the size and price, I would not buy it again.

Wow their stuffed mochi was amazing! I was excited to try their mochi since I was stalking their IG. They usually do pop ups on the weekends, but only near Ewa Beach side (Please do a pop up in town!!). They also allow you to preorder their mochi by the dozen and you can schedule a pick up with them. Ordering via text was easy - just fill out their order form and text it over. I decided to go with the assorted regular flavors (oreo bomb, brownie, and cookie dough) and a dozen of the deluxe flavor (cocoa-tilly). All soo good! My favorite was the oreo bomb. I'm definitely going to order more in the future. Thanks to Da Mochi Guys!

Disgusting mold on mochi bought less than 24 hours ago from them.

Their mochi is as fresh as it gets. Like literally sticking to the roof of your mouth, sticky goodness.

The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment you arrive. While it can get busy, the line moves quickly and efficiently. The coffee is rich, flavorful, and full-bodied, and the açaí bowls are fresh with ingredients you can tell are high quality. Everything we tried was consistently excellent. Needless to say, this is one of the places we'll miss most from our trip, and we're already planning our next visit.

You can either stand in line and order as before or grab a table, scan the QR code, and order and pay directly from your phone. We decided to try the mobile ordering option. I ordered the Original Acai Bowl. As always, the presentation was beautiful, but the acai itself was disappointing. Instead of the thick, spoonable consistency I was expecting, the base was more like an acai smoothie. If I wanted a smoothie, I would have ordered one. The toppings were great, but the consistency of the acai really changed the overall experience. Service also felt minimal. Since we ordered and paid on our phones and had to get our own water, the only service we really received was having our food brought to the table. We still tipped around 20%, but it didn't feel like the level of service matched the tip. Overall, this visit didn't live up to my previous experiences here. While I appreciate the convenience of the new ordering system, the change in the acai bowl and the limited service make me question whether I'll be returning anytime soon.

This time around, we found ourselves bringing a family member to dinner and were craving ice cream after dinner. Fortunately, Black Sheep Cream Co. was there. Right off the bat, I want to express my gratitude to the owner for keeping the prices the same since my last review in 2022. The flavors, taste, and venue is comfortable to enjoy your dessert right in front of the business. There is plenty of chairs and umbrella shade. I ordered one scoop Matcha Made In Heaven and one scoop Mochi Mama Brown Sugar Milk Tea Cream. Unable to see employee scoop the ice cream because it's away from customers' view. Barely tasted and couldn't see brown sugar. Definitely tasted pieces of white mochi and milk tea. Unfortunately, given two scoops of same flavor. By the time I discovered it, it's melting at the bottom because my Matcha Made In Heaven was supposed to be in the cup. My husband consumed his two scoops Guilty of Strobbery like there's no tomorrow. On top of that, if 15 min parking stalls are full, then must pay for parking in other half or across the street. Not sure if I will return to this location unless I'm walking across from one of the resorts.
