My mom had the French toast with seasonal berries (strawberries & blueberries). What a big portion she had. A large platter. We both had coffee, very good coffee here. Very quaint and cozy inside. I really like the high tables. Tons of Italian pastries to choose from. They also serve lunch items. Plenty of shaded seating outside on the patio, overlooking the lake. Very quiet and peaceful. Great service too. Nice prices as well. This place is wonderful, inside and out. The 2 people working this day are very kind and friendly. The restroom is in the back, and very clean. You must try this place. The pastries are delicious. I look forward to coming back, at least 7 times because there are 7 menu items I really want to try. Don't miss out going here. I live behind the Westgate, and it only takes about 25-30 minutes to drive there. We left home around 8:35 am. And there is plenty of free parking. Also handicapped parking. Lots of different shops within the corridor. It's very nice here. Stopped by Da Remo for brunch with the family very happy we did! We sat outside and enjoyed the view of the lake. We got the blueberry, cherry and orange cake pastries, a panini, croissant breakfast sandwich, a breakfast plate and coffee! Everything was SO GOOD. I wish I liked this place, but aside from the lakeside view and friendly girl at the register, it's pretty disappointing. The iced matcha didn't taste like matcha at all; it basically tasted like drinking sugary almond milk. It was so bad, I just left it completely full on the table with a note to self to never order a matcha there again. The French toast was decent, but I wouldn't say it's something I'd want to order again, especially for that price; I was expecting better for the cost. Breakfast platter was disappointing. A heated up frozen hash brown, a waffle that looks just like the kind you get at a budget hotel continental breakfast. The egg would've been okay if it weren't for the fact that it came out exactly the way I told them I didn't want it. I specifically said I wanted a completely cooked through egg with no runny yolk; instead, the yolk was runny and made a mess when my kids ate them. Oh, and they completely left out the sausage that was supposed to come with the platter. And when I tried to call about the missing sausage in the order, no one answered both times. The salad dressing tasted like it was just a regular bottle of grocery store dressing, but not in a good way. My husband's latte was no good. I actually can't believe that literally everything was bad (or missing), with the exception of the French toast which was mediocre and overpriced. All I can say is: bring back Cafe du Lac! read more

Really cute Italian breakfast place right on Lake Las Vegas. Beautiful ambience with a sunny day on the patio. We really enjoyed our meal and the Caprese Avocado toast was perfectly balanced according to my wife. Excellent pastry collection and the quiche seemed pretty popular as we watched many people order. The only negative was the potatoes are really just a hash brown, and the service was really slow but it was a busy Sunday morning. The staff was working hard though. Tried to sit down at one of the tables outside to look over the menu on our phones. My butt didn't even connect with the chair before an employee came out & told us "you have to order to sit" and gestured us to leave. There was not a single soul inside or outside aside from the employee so no customers harmed in us trying to sit to overlook the menu. Da Remo is a small bakery/coffee shop in the lake Las Vegas Village that provides fresh pastries, sandwiches and coffee drinks. Each of the barista's that I dealt with the week that I was there were very inviting and open to making my difficult lattes. There are a few tables inside, but most of their seating is alfresco outside on the patio overlooking the lake. Most days I got the white chocolate latte with amaretto, and I also tried their quiche, croissants, and a breakfast sandwich. Everything was very tasty and I would definitely recommend this coffee shop if you were in the lake Las Vegas area. read more

If you want a view by the Lake while sipping a coffee, this is a great venue. My boyfriend and I went here for brunch. The lady who took our orders at the counter was personable and friendly. The menu had enough of a selection for me and him both! We sat outside, where we saw wild birds trying to eat breadcrumbs off of tables , which made me laugh but that could be off putting for some. I might recommend to this business to more frequently clear & wipe down the outside tables for this reason. Some customers might not be as amused by the birds as I was. Apart from that, the mango smoothie we got was flavorful. The salad fantastic. The apple pastry amazing. My boyfriend liked his omlette. My sandwich was good - a tad of a flat flavor profile. Tried Da Remo this morning and were pretty disappointed with our experience. We ordered two iced lattes, and two pastries. The girl at the register was a little short with us but asked if we were taking them to go, and offered to warm them up when we planned to stay. We sat down at one of their few indoor tables, but all of them were left unkept with crumbs and drops of people's drinks. We sat and waited, and waited some more.. Finally our lattes were passed over the counter to us. They had very few options, but both of our drinks were nothing exciting. Pretty bland and lacking the flavor of the syrups and the espresso. People who ordered long after us were getting their food and pastries. They seemed maybe understaffed with people from the kitchen bouncing back and forth from the kitchen to their coffee bar... Eventually I stood up and asked if we could just take our pastries to go if warming them up was that much of a hassle. They packed them on top of one another in a bag and stapled it shut. We tried them out in the car (a blueberry danish and a cheese danish), both were over sweet and extremely dry to the point that they weren't enjoyable.... And did I mention it cost us like $30?! Next time we are in the area we will try another spot! read more

Da Remo replaced Le Cafe du Lac by the water sports area at Lake Las Vegas. The food and service were fine, but not memorable. The inside of the cafe as well as patio area have remained unchanged. It has a cute French feel. The menu was pretty big with toasts, sandwiches, salads, breakfast items, and coffee. They had a decent selection of French pastries in the case. I was intrigued by the wine and charcuterie options. I was helped without a long wait and my food didn't take long to be prepared. I wasn't sure I'd have time to finish my food so I requested it packed up and they packed it nicely. The employees weren't overly warm or welcoming. I ordered Salmon Affumicato which was a fancy name for salmon toast. The grainy bread was soft with smoked salmon, pesto, avocado, and red onion. The flavors didn't stand out to me. The side greens with honey mustard were basic. The best part of this cafe is the outdoor seating with views of the water and village. I could see returning on a nice day with a friend or my little one, but the food alone wouldn't draw me back in. read more

When sitting outside there may be some hungry pigeons that will come to your table. So don't feed them unless you want uninvited guests begging. Service -The service is excellent and fast. Friendly guys working here and super efficient. No complaints. Food - this is the reason for knocking down a star. I understand it's Lake Las Vegas in the village and everything is on the pricey side.. but for what we paid for the omelette and my Boogee coffee... the quality wasn't there for me. Bacon wasn't cooked all the way and slightly greasy. I guess next time I would have to say cook the bacon to well done. The toast had way too much butter. I guess next time I will have to mention easy butter. The Omelette was just ok nothing too special to comment on that.... The price we paid should have had better quality food. Would I come back? The food and drink are amazing, and I'm impressed. It's so clean here, and the staff is very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. They have a lot of different types of drinks on the menu, including sandwiches and breakfast. I was craving a breakfast sandwich, and I ordered a Frappuccino Pistachio. The breakfast sandwich called Da Ramo Sandwich, was so delicious and freshly made. The Frappuccino drink tastes so heavenly. I also ordered a pastry, and it was wonderful. The staff member Fabrizio was totally cool and hard-working, they are always checking up on you and tell you something cool! The cook named Magaly is very friendly and pleasure to serve me very well. I happened upon this Italian cafe on the very first morning they opened! Five people were working here figuring out how to make everything happen! They serve coffee, pastries, crepes, paninis and more. I, of course, got an espresso and inquired as to its origin. It was very smooth and clearly medium, not dark, roast. The barista was from Roma and explained the coffee is Italian and made by Danesi. I was excited to have an Italian caffe I've never tried before!! It's milk chocolatey and smooth and my nephew totally enjoyed it also! Seek it out and try an espresso in the Italian style. That means drink it fresh and quickly at the counter. There is no such thing as "coffee to go" in Italy! Life is good with a new Italian cafe! read more

Visited Da Remo during a staycation at Lake Las Vegas. When ordering, I saw that there was Chai on the menu. An iced chai sounded so good on that 100+ degree day, however when I ordered it, the man at the front got very upset and went on a tirade about how he doesn't have chai. Apparently I wasn't the only one asking for it that day. I ended up just doing an iced latte and my husband got one of their alcoholic drinks - El Cafecito. Both were really good. For lunch I got the Traditional Avocado Toast and my husband got the Caprese Panini. Both were ok. The bread on the avocado toast was amazing. I went to use the bathroom and there was no toilet paper or paper towels. Once again, that made the man annoyed when I mentioned it. Would have been a five star visit if I was treated better. As cute as this location was, the restaurant is dirty unfortunately (they need to seriously clean the place) bathroom was dirty first thing in the morning which means they don't clean often. And when a bathroom is dirty you can bet the kitchen is too. The omelet was delicious! 2 stars for that! The pancakes however...for 4 dollar sized pancakes $10 it's overpriced and not worth it. The drinks are all served in their original bottles and not fresh FYI. Wouldn't come again honestly. Paid $50 dollars for a breakfast we could have eaten like kings at some really good breakfast places in town. Guess you pay for the view. Disappointing. read more
