I was craving some fried chicken and decided to check out Two Sisters. First off let me say the service here is really good. Like really good. Everybody was cool, welcoming, and made sure everything was straight. The vibe inside was nice too. I ordered the rib and chicken combo with two pieces of chicken, four ribs, and two sides. For my sides I went with the jalapeño mac and cheese and the BBQ baked beans. The mac and cheese was cool. It reminded me of KFC mac and cheese. Super creamy, little kick from the jalapeños but nothing crazy. Not bad but not something I'd go crazy over either. I'd give it a 5 out of 10. Now the baked beans... those were fire. Not too sweet, nice smoky flavor, and probably my favorite thing I had there. Easy 7.5 out of 10. I also got the prickly pear lemonade and that was top tier. Not too sweet, super refreshing, and it comes in a mason jar you can take home which was a nice touch. That drink alone gets a 9 out of 10. Now the ribs. I had high hopes since ribs are in the name, but I was a little let down. They didn't taste smoked, more like baked, and they weren't very tender. Most of the flavor came from the sauce instead of the meat itself. I'd give the ribs about a 4 out of 10. The chicken though... cooked perfectly. Super juicy, super crunchy, probably some of the best textured chicken I've had. I got the spicy version but it really didn't have much spice or seasoning. Flavor was lacking but the way it was cooked was on point. Because of that I'll give it a 6.5 out of 10. Overall, Two Sisters got a lot of potential. Time for some food math Q. Two guys go into Two Sisters and order three meals. How much food do they receive? A. A total of 10 pieces of chicken, 6 sides, 3 potato wedges and 2 drinks. My dad ordered a 4 piece mixed combo with potato salad and coleslaw for his sides. He ordered the same to take home to my step mom who did not join us for this particular meal. I ordered a two piece white meat meal with garlic toast and green beans for my sides. In case you are wondering, four piece mixed comes with one piece each wing, leg, thigh and breast. 2 piece white comes with 1 each wing and breast. Our food took a while to come out. I have to believe that is due to the chicken being cooked fresh. And fresh it was. It was so damn hot when we got it. I ate my potato wedge first and then moved on the wing piece. That was hot so I had the garlic toast and green beans next. I finished with the breast which, by this time a few minutes in, was still smoking hot. The sides were all good in their own right. Though the potato wedge could have been a bit more hot. The chicken is where its at, though. The sisters boast the juiciest breasts and thighs in Hendedson. I haven't had all the chicken options in town but I am inclined to believe them based on what I received here. My breast piece was especially juicy. Good flavor. Crisp exterior. Really a very nice piece of chicken. I would like to come back and try some of the offerings from Two Sisters. Maybe a sandwich or ribs. Oh, and they host trivia on Thuesdays. Trivia is my jam! We went there for lunch today. We had chicken and bbq pulled pork. Both were very greasy, jalapeño mc n cheese tasted like it came straight out of a box ( the jalapeños seemed raw and added as an afterthought), the Texas toast was soggy, tater tots dry as were the onion rings. They have canned Pepsi or coke and bottled water since their soda machine is not been connected yet. read more

I was very excited to see that they reopened. Went in expecting the same great food as before but was extremely disappointed. The chicken breast was extremely small, very dry and didn't even resemble a chicken breast. I loved this place prior to their temporary shutdown. I just tried it again after new management took over. I ended up throwing the food away!. The chicken was tough, dry and the coating had no flavor. The green beans over salted and mushy. The mac and cheese gummy and tasteless. Everything else was great -- service was excellent and the atmosphere was on point. Unfortunately, the brisket was a major letdown. It was overwhelmingly fatty and had a strange, processed texture that made it hard to enjoy. If brisket is going to stay on the menu, it really needs attention. Really nice to have a nice new restaurant in this side of town. The decor was fun and vibrant had good music playing . The service here was great. The food was tasty. I had the Hatch green chili burger with onion rings. The burger was very tasty but the onion rings were my favorite. My mother in law had the Broasted chicken 2pc meal with a side of coleslaw. The she really loved the chicken . The chicken was hot and crispy, I had a bite of the chicken and it was outstanding. She also liked the coleslaw and loved that it had pineapple in it. Very friendly. Not too busy during dinner time. We went to play trivia on Tuesday night. I had the two piece white meat with macaroni and cheese. It was the best chicken I've ever had. The chicken breast is huge. It was steaming hot and very juicy. The macaroni and cheese was excellent. My mom had the potato salad with her chicken and said it was good and definitely homemade. Ok, I'm in love with Two Sisters Broasted Chicken! A taste of home with this Southern style chicken and sides establishment! My first visit was this past weekend and I was thoroughly impressed! A very nice and shiny new interior welcoming guests as they entered. The broasted chicken was outstanding! Extremely fresh, hot, juicy, and large white meat pieces. Their spicy version is fine, but to me it didn't separate from the original, so I'd stick with the original. The other meats that I tried were the catfish which is a Southern staple, and theirs didn't disappoint! Large filets with a nice breaded coating, and the interior was flaky and fresh! The smoked brisket was perhaps slightly overdone, as I prefer a little pink to the interior, but you can't argue over the wonderful flavor! The potato wedges are fantastic, and so is the jalapeño Mac! A little more kick to the jalapeño Mac would be great just to separate itself from the regular Mac! read more

Decided to see what all the talk about broasted chicken was about. The place is very clean. I was greeted by a very friendly employee. Their menu is pretty big but I was there for the chicken. I ordered the two piece dark meat, spicy meal. It came to around $16 They came with of their potato wedges which are huge and one side which I chose the jalapeno mac and cheese. The chicken tasted really good, it was very juicy and tender. It wasn't very spicy though. My only complaint was it was the smallest leg and a thigh I've ever seen. The potato wedges were okay. But the standout was the jalapeno mac and cheese. It was amazing! It was spicy enough to make your nose run and you would go back for more! The pineapple cream soda was another standout. Nice surprise!!! Ordered the two piece, "Dark" incredibly well seasoned, crispy breasted chicken. The skin is light, yet perfectly crisp. I can tell the chicken is marinated as the flavor permeates throughout. I'm not usually a potato wedge guy but they were airy and the potatoe skin was nicely crisp as well. Had a side of jalapeño Mac n cheese. Sharp cheddar flavor with perfect accompaniment of jalapeño not overpowering it. Great balance!! Don't sleep on the Green Chile Pork soup either. Amazing eatery with amazing food. I found it while doing google search for fried chicken in Henderson and brought a couple of buddies along to try it out. It did not disappoint. The meals are made fresh upon ordering so that's really awesome. The chicken, the ribs......great stuff. We even splurged and had the cobbler and ice cream at the end. My buddies had the peach and I had the blackberry. Yum Yum. Both sisters happened to be working at that location that day so we got the chance to meet, chat, and take a photo with them. We were told no root beer, but it was on the machine, and it had to be hooked up, I ordered the combo plate, chicken was good, green beans were good, Cole slaw not so much, very sugary and a hint of pineapple, the pork ribs were NOT edible, they were tough and barely came off the bone with a knife. Very chewy and could not swallow one piece, I asked if they were boiled and then grilled, no, they were allegedly in. Smoker then grilled. Poor execution and were not any good, McRibs are better. Ordered a 2 piece online for pick up today. When I arrived it was completely empty. I waited about 15 minutes for my order. Got to my vehicle and went to eat the wedge that came with it and it was cold. I went back in and asked for a hot one. The older gentlemen jumped right up and said we got any hot ones in the back. I said thank you, the chicken is steaming but that wedge needs some heat. The guy Carl (he said that was his name) sitting at the bar playing on his phone was apparently the cook and he proceeds to say they came out at the same fucking time. Um excuse me? Who are you talking to? He said not you but they did... I immediately asked for my money back and said they can keep the food. I will not support a business where I am treated like this or spoken to with disrespect when I did not come in hot. He then continued on very rudely and I while I waited for my refund he said give it to her so she can leave and ultimately called me a fat bitch and said I could leave now. I asked for the owner and was told she was not there I asked for a phone number and he said you can leave and I will call her. Um no not happening. The older gentleman gave me a phone number for the owner/manager. I spoke with a lady who apologized profusely and said she was a manager. If this is the way they treat people this is why this establishment is empty. This would have been my 3rd time there and there chicken is great but I will not be back. Go fuck yourself Carl!
