    Ceviche La Basta

The ceviche was good. I can't say it was the best I've ever had since I'm Mexican but it was good for Hawaii. I think it was the flavor combos for me that felt kinda off. The seafood was fresh though!

We were met by Spanish-speaking staff, which is always a pleasant surprise on Oahu. The ceviche was our main target, but we were suggested to try the blue crab tobiko spread, which was an excellent suggestion made by our cashier. The ceviche, fried tortillas, and crab spread were really tasty, refreshing, and satisfying. The crab spread was creamy and added an extra oomph to the ceviche. We also all got horchatas, something I had missed while being away from LA. My group sat outside, which was really sunny and gave serious beach town vibes.

Fresh Ceviche and great balance. Service was fast and ample parking everywhere when I went Local food truck setting Will go back again!

Stopped by around 5pm and the place was empty. Greeted by a nice friendly gentleman at the cashier. The vibe was definitely cool, open air comfortble place with seating outside. I ordered a Cabo and steak taco to go. Shortly my ordered arrived neatly packed along with napkin and plastic utensils. I opened the first box and was amazed how the Cabo taco looked. Packed with beef, shrimp avocado and salsa along with a container of sauce. The first bite was heaven! The tortillas was cooked perfectly and held the topping intact allowing a big scrumptious bite. Next was the 2 steak taco stuffed with beef, cheese, tomato with a lime wedge. It was spectacular. I'm from CA and know good Mexican food. This place is the bomb. Will try the ceviche next!

I was blown away by his good this spot it! The seafood was fresh and bright and we just knew it was going to be good. We started with the crab ceviche with tostadas and every bite was delicious. The poke nachos were huge with a generous portion of poke. The spicy mayo was the perfect amount to balance out all the flavors. I wish it was closer to downtown so j could get it all the time!! Everything was 10/10 and I can't wait to to go back

Sooooo yummy! Very good portions and sizes for all the shrimp we got. Lots of tostadas, you can get extras if you need more. Get the blue crab dip too, that was exquisite! Small interior but has seating. Staff is nice.

We have been craving Ceviche ever since he got to Hawaii and heard about Da Seafood Cartel from lots of people. We saw it as we were driving by and decided to stop in and check them out. We preferred from the delightful lady at the counter and she answered all our questions. The shop is small but there are tables inside and outside. Thankfully there is also good parking available out back. The flavors were great and the sauce really enhanced the Ceviche. Everything was fresh, light, and flavorful. Super stop if you are hungry for something other than Poke. :)

Cool spot to grab some refreshing bites. I got the blue crab dip and camaron ceviche (shrimp). It's a small spot so more of a grab and go place. The ceviche was okay I wish there was more lime flavor, but it was a generous portion and enough to feed 3. The blue crab dip was also tasty paired with the crispy tortilla chips.

I absolutely loved eating at Da Seafood Cartel. It was highly recommended to stop by while I was passing through Haleiwa on Oahu, and it was so worth it , especially since I love ceviche so much. The staff was very friendly and welcomed me as soon as I walked in. I already knew what I wanted to order because my SIL told me it was a must see. I tried the ceviche with the blue crab dip. Everything was incredibly fresh and packed with great flavor. This place is highly rated and, in my opinion, the best spot on the island for ceviche. It may be small, but it's definitely worth the drive. The staff is always willing to help you find exactly what you're craving.

I tried their famous blue crab spread with ceviche tostada and it was amazing. I loved it so much. I'm really happy I got to try them at the farmers market so I didn't have to make the drive all the way to their actual location lol.

The food was not only amazing, but the service was one of a kind! You feel so welcomed from the moment you enter the establishment. The space is small but special! Ceviche + blue crab combo was unlike anything i've ever eaten but I would go back just for this!! Highly recommend!

Ah! If you want a good tostada, order the Tostada Atun (ahi) Fresh tostada served with fresh ahi, citrus sesame sauce , youll be licking your fingers get those extra homemade tostadas ! The O. G tostada was too watery, it overrides the taste of the blue crab spread , when there's shrimp ceviche on top! Well chopped ingredients & peeled cucumbers could help. My opinion Support your local cevicheria! Cute, open air ambiance

Another top notch visit today! The seafood here always tastes amazing. The ceviche really is delicious and reminds me of what my grandma used to make in a fridge drawer growing up. Service is fast and friendly! Bring your own beer & have them make you a michelada! $15 with ceviche or $7 without.

We stopped in for happy hour on our first visit, and it did not disappoint. As Southern California residents, we're a little picky about our Mexican food, but the chips and salsa were excellent. The grilled fish tacos were good, the service was friendly, and those chips and salsa were just as delicious as we remembered. My boyfriend was not impressed as the carnitas did not have any flavor. We also ordered the birria tacos which wasn't too bad. Needless to say, there are probably better Mexican places to try on the North Shore.

So, I recommend if you're really hungry and you don't mind eating microwave dinner and the family needs to unload and relax coz the place is vibing and has a long bar for adults.
