Incompetency at its greatest level - done This place is not capable of fulfilling an order with any deviations from the menu. Taco review - I tried the Spicy Pork (stop right now and order this, then come back and finish reading this...I'll wait). OK now that your belly is full and you are happy with me (you're welcome - an easy $2.50 spent), we can move on. Pretty cute little place, big enough inside if you have a decent group and clean enough to take someone to dine in. A la carte menu so it's easy to get what you want and be satisfied, although it seems that if you wanted to make a plate with sides it would add up ($1 for rice, $1 for beans - seems like a hiked up price from what I see at the grocery store for a whole batch). Word on the street is that the queso is no bueno. It looks gross and I'm a queso snob so I passed. The corn tortillas are legit. This is the way to go. But flour is also available. I also tried the fajita beef taco and it was decent. Very street style, not Tex Mex. This is good but I enjoyed the flavor of the spicy pork best. I did notice that beef or chicken are $2 on Taco Tuesdays, so I guess I saved 75 cents today. Woohoo. Maybe I could have gotten some overpriced refried beans after all..... read more

This. Place. Is. Awesome! I took the family here for breakfast over the weekend and we got some breakfast burritos that really hit the spot. Depending on the Mexican restaurant you go to, the chorizo can be hit or miss, but this place was a direct hit! My kids are super picky about food and loved this place as well, which is always a plus and a reason for some repeat business. I also got a brisket taco and wow! Not only was it delicious, but they don't skimp you on the meat like trashy Chipotle would -- where I feel like I have to steal as many napkins, plastic utensils, and hot sauces as I can to make up for their meat swindling practices. But back to Daddy's, the food is great, there is lots of variety, and the customer service there is awesome too -- which can make or break even a restaurant with good food. Positives: really good tacos. Salsa that is actually a bit hot. Good margaritas Negatives: every (yes, every) table was dirty. Only 2-3 were occupied. But all were dirty. Don't know if this was a one time thing or not, the second time we went every table was occupied. Spicy chicken and spicy port are the best tacos. Went here awhile ago with the boyfriend, it's a very spacious restaurant so we didn't feel crowded. There's plenty of table seating and a small bar. I got a pork taco and a fried fish taco. The pork taco was slightly sweet but good overall, But i loved the fish taco. It was very fresh and hot. My boyfriend got the brisket taco, chicken taco, and a fried fish taco. I tried his brisket and chicken taco. I thought the brisket was tender and juicy but I wasn't a fan of the chicken taco. It was about $18 for 5 tacos and drinks. I believe Daddy's is my favorite taqueria. My husband and I have tried many things here. The breakfast tacos are served all day. My favorite is the brisket breakfast taco. The chorizo is also good, only chorizo doesn't like me. The spicy pork taco is really good but I LOVE LOVE LOVE the fish tacos!!! They have mahi or salmon and both are Fan-Freegin-tastic!!!! I'm also very much in love with the shrimp taco whether it is grilled or deep fat fried I love it!!! They always prepare my food as if they were going to eat it themselves. It's always so fresh and delicious. I like extra heat so I request sliced serranoes on mine. I also feel that the portion size is good for what you get. I am so glad I found this place and that it is close to my home. I forgot to mention they cook everything to order and bring it to your table so there is a little wait but we'll worth it. Been here twice now. The first time it was busy and they managed to get out food to us in a decent amount of time. I got the shrimp bowl and everything was perfect. The second time I went back with my kids. They ordered and again the food came out in a decent amount of time. They got the chicken and cheese quesadillas and taco chicken Fajita bowl. Very good food. I've been here 3 times. I had the shrimp taco, chicken fajita bowl, fried fish taco, and the breakfast tacos. Everything I ordered was really good. My daughter got the kids cheese qesadilla. She said it was very salty. Not sure where that came from as she has never complained about salt before. The atmosphere is really nice. I do think they should put a garbage can by the door. As we almost didn't see it. I'm not sure if you are suppose to clean your table afterwards. I found this place to be so so. The spicey pork taco was more sweet than spice, in fact I think I've had more spice in mild pace picante sauce. Ordered the fish taco with corn tortilla, recd it in flour, but didn't mind that as the flavors were nice. The brisket taco had zero flavor at all and maybe four diced onions on it. Definitely needed some help. With so many other taco places around, I'll likely drive on by :( read more

Walked in and the place was pretty dead so I would expect that my order would be correct. Ordered and PAID FOR guacamole. My food had no GUACAMOLE. Got home... open it up to eat it. Take a bite of the food and I get a chewy piece that I couldn't chew through and I eventually have to spit it out. Turns out that it is a cardboard material that was mixed into my food from the bowl that my food came in. They gave me a bowl that had a hole in the bottom of it and the deterioration was mixed in to my food. read more

I went here for lunch today. I was very happy they had vegetable tacos because I don't eat meat. I had those and the chips and queso. The food came quickly after we ordered. We've eaten here a handful of times and have not been disappointed yet. We absolutely love everything. My favorite is the beef fajita street taco but hubby has tried almost everything offered and hasn't found anything he doesn't like. They serve breakfast all day as well. I had their brisket breakfast taco today and it was amazing. Today was actually the first day we were able to visit and sit in the dining area as we've always just ordered take-out in the past. On Tuesdays, flavored margaritas are $4 and are worth it. I tried the sangria swirl and the peach flavor and both were pretty good and strong for frozen margaritas. My son was with us and wanted crunchy tacos. Those aren't on the menu but they whipped up some fresh taco shells in the back and he was happy. Will definitely be visiting again. read more

So this place is owned by Mesa's I believe, but this is a walk up and order kind of place. Their spicy pork taco (its not actually spicy) and shrimp taco are really good! You can also do a burrito bowl or make your own grilled/pressed burrito. They serve actual tequila margaritas, not that wine cooler crap! I think Daddy's Tacos is actually better than nom nom's and chipotle (but maybe thats just me). Totally different flavors than those places though. Lastly, their guacamole is pretty good, and I know they have queso but I've heard the queso is not that great so I guess order at your own risk haha. read more
