Holy shit. Why is this place so far from Frisco. Some of the best tacos I've had in a long time. Their salasitas were amazing. Spicy and flavorful.

If you are looking for authentic tacos. This is the place. The onions/cilantro, and caramelized onions were under the tacos. I got an assortment. The toppings really brought the flavors home. The sauces are good. Definitely simple and no bells and whistle's but worth trying. The churro was the star of the show. I got the caramel filled. They were soft and creamy on the inside and crispy and sweet with the dusted sugar and cinnamon on the outside. I will be back for these!

Best street tacos in all of DFW, hands down. Excellent service as well from the staff! Tacos are simple, amazing quality, and the sauces are fire. Orders come out hot and fast, just like a legit taco truck. Tripa tacos are crispy, and the other meats are not over done with seasoning. Just excellent! Restaurant is clean. This will be my go to taco place from now on!

Best tacos!!! Their new booths make their dining Covid Friendly.

Great Mexican food, which is hard to find (because TexMex food) we love this place. We eat here at least once a month.

Tacos de trompo (al pastor) and barbacoa. Both super yummy.

Great place for yummy tacos! This location was closed for a few months but recently reopened. This was my first time visiting and I will definitely be back. The customer service is the best I've received in a long time and the tacos were very tasty, the Jamaica water was delicious. Prices are great as well, only room for improvement would be filling the tacos up with a little more meat. Looking forward to my next visit.

At first I thought this is was open by the same Tacos El Gordo in National City (South of San Diego). This is not just because of the name but also the picture of meat on the spitz. I found out it wasn't but I made the drive so I thought I'd try it. The Al Pastor with lime, onions and cilantro was capped with liberal amounts on green sauce. It was really good. It reminds me of Baja Mexico and Southern Californian Mexican. Horchata was good as well. I'll be back with the family and friends.

Del Sur is delicious, with everything made to order. The tortillas are excellent, their homemade salsa are spicy in the best of ways, and every taco I've tried, and I've tried MANY, are all top notch! Don't worry about ambiance, it's a taqueria. The place is clean, the prices are on point, and the food is FABULOUS. The only drawback, and it's a very minor one, is that they don't sell drinks, you have to purchase your beverages separately. It's a minor inconvenience, but you're in a gas station/convenience store, so there's like a gaggle of different drink options for you. There no need for me to list off specific tacos, they're literally all great!

Found it on Yelp (thanks y'all) and with the high ratings, I knew I was in for a treat. The "restaurant" is really just a window in the back corner inside the convenience store, with a small table and a few stools for anyone "eating in". Nothing quite matches the experience of sitting on a wobbly stool watching people buy cigarettes and lotto tickets while eating bomb tacos, honestly. I got myself 4 tacos, and I could've eaten more as they were SO good. I had 2 steak tacos, one chicken with jalapeño, and one that was chorizo and beef. The steak ones were my favorite. Prices are average, and service was friendly and quick. Dont expect luxury accomodations, but expect amazing tacos. Next time you stop to get gas, perhaps do it here, so you have an excuse to grab some of this food.

We were looking for somewhere to eat and saw a bunch of cars in their parking lot and decided to try it - a very good move. They are a in a modest setting (classic Taqueria), but the food was fantastic. We ordered a tacos of al pastor & lengua, 4 birria tacos, 3 gorditas - 2 of lengua and one of chorizo, along with a chile toreado and 2 Topo Chicos. The had a mild green sauce and a spicier orange sauce along with a bowl of pickled jalapenos, carrots and onions on the table (see photos). While the tacos were good, what really stood out were the gorditas - they may be the best ones I have ever had. They almost looked like they were grilled but they were fried they were not fooling around - just onions, cilantro, & the meat that you picked inside. Outstanding! (I later find out that they make their own chorizo). The birria - queso tacos were also excellent, but the consume (dipping sauce) was fantastic. It had a bit of onions and cilantro, and it was just a little bit spicy - not greasy at all. Value wise, this place rocked. The tacos were $2.19, birria sold in either 3 ($9.99) or 4 ($12.99). The gorditas were also sold 3 at a time for $9.59 or $10.99 depending on your meat selection. The service was also great! We dined in and they brought menus and took our orders and asked us several times if we needed anything. This place also has a Mexican Market and Butcher shop where they make their own chorizo, milanesa's, and cecina. The quality of the meat looked very good so we bought a couple of pounds to try it. If you like authentic Mexican Taquerias, you need to give El Primo a try.
