I wanted to love this place so much, but unfortunately, overall, pretty much everything about my experience today was underwhelming. First of all the customer service wasn't horrible, but it wasn't great either. The cashier lowkey seemed annoyed as soon as I walked in. She wasn't like rude but she wasn't particularly nice either. Also, the pricing is kinda sketchy. They have a sign saying that the pricing they have up isn't accurate and is subject to change with inflation, which, I understand, but still. Even though it was kind of a red flag, I was already committed to the adventure! Plus, as much as I love food, I have no problem paying a premium for anything as long as the food is fantastic/the overall experience is worth it. I wanted to try a few things so I got the taco plate which comes with three tacos, and rice and beans and then I ordered two additional tacos a la carte so I could try other protein options. So the taco plate + 2 additional tacos (5 tacos total) up being $22.72. Which - seemed kinda wild, but whatever, obviously at this point, my expectations are through the roof! I got the Fajita Beef, Fajita Chicken, Al Pastor, Carnitas, and Barbacoa tacos. Unfortunately, none of them blew me away. The rice and beans were standard. The salsas were solid, as well, and extremely spicy! The fajita beef was the most flavorful of all the protein options, but everything else was just okay. Edible, yes. Fantastic? Absolutely not. I actually had to add more seasoning to each protein when I got home. Also, I noticed that, (with the exception of the fajita beef), the meat on the tacos was somehow pretty dry while the taco was greasy at the same time. Not sure how that's even possible. The Al pastor was the most disappointing. Not only was the flavor lacking, but it didn't come with pineapple, which is typically my favorite part. Also, nothing on the receipt was itemized, so I don't even know how much the taco plate was or if I was even charged correctly. For the price, I was expecting this to be an above average experience, but unfortunately, it was not. Decided to check this place out for lunch as it was close to work. It's located inside of a meat market. They have plenty of seating if you want to dine in. The reviews failed me as I was not impressed. Although I waited about 10 minutes for my order, it did not seem fresh. Ordered the asada and barbacoa and it was horrible. The asada was tough and lacked flavor. The meat wasn't cooked at the time of order. It really seemed old. The barbacoa had a little more flavor but it was extremely greasy. The green salsa was good and had a lot of kick but that's no good if the meat is hard to chew. The rice was bland right along with the beans which were very soupy. Maybe you will have better luck but I won't be back.....at all! I spent $16 which came out to be a donation. read more

The supermarket part is not the cleanest especially the vegetables and meat fridges, would never buy anything from those cases, but the spice section was well stocked -although none but one item, had an expiration date, so will see how fresh when I open those. Ordered two bistec tacos, which tasted ok although not a fan of grey meat. Overall, the market gets a 3 star and restaurant same, might go back to try other tacos. The small board you have on the counter doesn't have all the menu items displayed in the TVs. This is just restaurant menu pricing standards. And instead of acknowledging that this is confusing, you get defensive again. As for the spices, the ones I bought didn't have expiration dates, and in spite of that I spent about $30 in the grocery section of your store and stated in my review I was willing to go back. Highly recommend! This is an unassuming small Mexican grocery store in downtown Frisco, and the food is really, really good. I've had the quesabirria tacos, chicken flautas, and tostadas. I ordered for delivery via DoorDash. Ordering was a bit confusing, since there seems to be an error on the menu when ordering a burrito. Adding a protein doubles the price, which was already $16. The food is pretty good. I ordered the burrito supreme with a side of rice. The chicken that came with the burrito was just unseasoned, shredded chicken. We've gotten meat from the store a few times but this was our first time eating here. Good menu with a lot of classic Mexican food items. I will always order sopes if it's on the menu. The sopes itself needed a little more salt in the masa mixture, but aside from that it was good. The queso birria tacos were good. The salsa's were delicious. I really wanted to love this place after seeing such great reviews and some things stating that they offer halal meat options which was cool. When you pull up its kind of confusing because it feels kind of like you are leaving the "nice" part of the frisco area. The interior was reminiscent of a bronx bodega or grocery. Ordered online and went to grab chicken tacos, the chicken (I didn't photograph but I wish I did) was just bland white shredded chicken with absolutely no flavor...I see now why the other reviews dont have any of those pictured We got elotes as well from the separate front "coffee and snacks" area - something was off with the taste, not enough butter, not enough crema maybe idk something but nobody finished theirs and we got 3. The elotes also took so long to make after we had already grabbed our to-go order from the back tacos / restaurant area and we couldn't understand why it was taking that long watching the employee slowly put it all together. We also bought items from the grocery store a bag of pica fresca and salsaghetti which is double the price of fiesta at a whopping $9 a bag, pretty ridiculous. Spent $40 on corn and candy alone. I get 3 tacos for less than $10, which is practically Taco Bell money, if not less, and dear god is it better. Best authentic tacos I've had since I've moved here. Not the greatest ambience, but I'm not taking points off their rating for that. It's a convenience store with a restaurant in the back, it's clean but you get what you expect in terms of ambience. Service is always good, everyone seems nice, all the customer facing workers speak English and I would assume Spanish as well. 10/10. Love coming here and will continue to love coming here. Honestly it's been a struggle to find legit tacos since I moved to Texas. Was recommended to check out La Suprema and of course I was a bit skeptical. Didn't think highly of getting tacos at a market, but decided to be adventurous and figured why not give it a shot? Boy was I wrong! Birria Quesotacos were very good here. Comes with the fixings on the side and also the mandatory consome. The consome was good, just wish they gave a little more so I had more to sip on after eating the quesobirria. Pastor Tacos- went with my standard three. The meat was very flavorful and honestly I enjoyed it more than the Quesobirria because the meat had a lot more flavor and it reminded me of the Al Pastor from back home. The real surprise from this trip was the go items! They sell cooked meat by the pound. What I didn't know was that they were selling the meat as part of a taco kit! The plan was just to buy cooked meat for dinner and make tacos with the ingredients we had back home. The kit included tortillas, onions, cilantro, limes and their salsa. The to go portions were very generous. Had to go with the Al Pastor that I enjoyed very much and also the bistek. Both meats were very good and it definitely was enough for dinner that night, breakfast, lunch and a bit for dinner the next day! Overall satisfied with the food and experience. All delicious, the pastor was salty the first we went. We ordered Easter taco meat, pastor and beef fajita and the pastor wasn't salty so it depends on who marinated it. The beef fajita was so good. We ordered 2 lbs beef fajita and 2 lbs pastor, we ran out of the beef quickly. It came with corn tortillas (need to ask for half and half next time), white onions and cilantro, plus green and red salsa. It was a great Easter meal for my ohana. I love the location of this business right in the center of Frisco next to soccer stadium, not far from tollway. I would say that to eat, their tacos are pretty good. The Birria tacos were a little too hard on the tortilla but overall pretty ok. Barbacoa taco was great. I think their meat is fresh as they are inside the actual meat market. The cook (tanned skin skinny guy) was nice and brought our food out. They were kind enough to exchange menudo for pozole. The meat market itself is great for international or Latin flavored items. Thems some solid freakin' authentic tacos! We've been looking for another reliable taco place to be an alternate option to Fuel City and I think we may have found it in La Suprema Market. The pastor and bistek are absolutely mouthwateringly delicious. My wife said the chicharron was as good as she's had in a long, long time. The rice and beans were quite the compliment to boast about.
