Be careful! Three of us ate there last night. About four hours later, I became very sick with diarrhea which lasted 18 hours. Another person in our party suffered with a mild form that lasted 12 hours. Tried to call the restaurant. Not our first time there. it may be changing ownership. read more

First time customer, they made a good impression! The beef fajita meat was fantastic from the nachos to the quesadillas to the steak con enchiladas! Sergio, our waiter, was so good at his job and he told us this was only his second day! Kudos to him! Along with the additional staff assisting, all of our needs were met. Santos greeted us and made us feel like we were his family. Cleto is the owner and should be proud of having Santos on his team.He suggested the fajitas and pollo con hongos. They were both perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. We tired the blanco queso and it was great! We did not take advantage of their handmade margaritas, but there is always dinner. We stopped in for early dinner and seated immediately on a Friday night. Basic interior, little decor, some tinsel strung, and a christmas tree as you walked in. Waitress was friendly but hard to understand. Very soft spoken. . Ordered drinks and our dinners. 2 enchilada's with Fajita steak on top, with rice n beans. Sauce was good... Boring bland enchilada. Hunk of cheese inside a tortilla. Definely have had better. Wife order Chicken Burittos and got torn up chicken wrapped inside a flour tortilla, with a shell of melted cheese on top. Shredded lettuce and tomato on the side. Really disappointed in the food unfortunately. Won't be going back. read more

Walking into this restaurant, we really didn't know what to expect- but any expectations based on similar texmex styled restaurants have been superiorly exceeded. The ambiance is small, but well decorated. The music is never too loud. The service was amazing. They were all incredibly kind, attentive, and quick with service without ignoring or being overbearing. The food was outstanding. Everything was warm and fresh. We even decided to try the blueberry margarita and to our surprise- real blueberries are in it! We can't wait to come back again and try more things off the menu tied to our new addiction of the blueberry margarita. Can't recommend this place enough. read more

Another surprise! I have hit another hidden gem! I have noticed these guys for a while, but not enthusiastic to visit fearing it's like every other Tex-Mex restaurant. Made a last-minute spontaneous decision to try it, instead of nearby Jake's. Nicer on the inside than previous restaurants in this location, I was impressed. They have a great weekday lunch menu, so I decided on the nachos with shredded chicken. The chips are individually dressed, which is my preference. Super tasty! Cesar's has been sold. :( The food is not as good, costs more ( which with cost of food I understand) and service has suffered. They no longer have Friday margarita special. And worse, you no longer have Cesar and his smiling brothers in the restaurant. Good luck Cesar in your future endeavors, we will miss you. read more

Mixed feelings about this place. Food is decent, staff is very nice, drinks were good, but the vibe is all off. The lighting can be described like a Saw movie. The TVs are way too big and distracting. It smells of bathroom cleaner when you walk in. The whole environment just kills moods and appetites. read more

Superb. Phenomenal. Outstanding! Service was great! Super fast and attentive. Food was even better. The chips, salsa, and bean dip had me declaring this place a winner before we even ordered. My husband got Zuri's Tacos (chicken and grilled onions) and I got the street tacos (carne asada). The meats were flavorful and tender, the ingredients tasted fresh and light. The rice was soft, fluffy, and so flavorful! The charro beans are something I will be craving for the next 7 days. The restaurant was also decorated very cutely with authentic Mexican touches. I think this will be our New Mexican spot! read more

I don't give five stars often - but when I do - it's not just because of the Dos Equis - the staff is very close knit - seems like family - fun eclectic ambiance especially for kids - portions are huge - we have kiddos that only eat chips and salsa which they also serve with black bean puree- the side refried beans and rice when we get the fajitas also helps us save on our little kiddos too The margaritas are amazing - the manager recommended the Cesar's margarita and it's honestly one of the best things I have ever tasted - new to the area but it is my new favorite for chimichangas - was advised to try them with the steak fajita meat - omg it is amazing The chicken fajitas are top notch and the prices are so much better than mi cocina or Gloria's which are just overpriced big corporate chains at this point read more

Tried for the first time and ordered takeout and they didn't disappoint . The food was ready promptly - within 10 to 15 minutes . We got Cleto's platter, shrimp enchiladas , and a chimichanga. The enchiladas were delicious - and I loved the quesadilla in the platter. My fiance also enjoyed his chimichanga. Would absolutely come back :) read more

I've come here two times when I've gone to visit my family that live in the area. Everything we've had has been amazing. My aunt and uncle had the tableside guac and it was super cool to watch it being made right by the table. We've also tried their cocktails and they are yummy as well. A few words of constructive criticism: offer a mild salsa for those of us with acid reflux and sensitive palates. Ranchero sauce for enchiladas is not the fix. Warm up the tortilla chips before setting on the table. Warm up the tostadas to take out the staleness. Better yet, fry fresh soft tortillas. When using lettuce on ANYTHING but particularly the tostadas, cut the lettuce as thin as possible using a meat slicer (best) or a mandolin. Then, invest in a salad spinner to make sure that lettuce is DRY. FYI 2 tostadas today at lunch, the lettuce in huge hunks and dripping with water. Couldn't even keep the lettuce on the tostada. Not appetizing. Impossible to eat with hands. Had to scrap it off the stale tostadas and eat like a salad. Oh, and offer a large print menu for those of us whose eyesight is fading. Just sayin. Maybe you would be busier with more attention to detail, especially the food. read more

Walked in did not care for the decorations or the restaurant aesthetics. I felt like it smelled like a Chinese food place. The menu was terrible looking on the menu. That's all the negatives I had. When walking inside, it smelled overwhelingly of disinfectant. The salsa was sub par, my husband ate a chip that wasn't all the way cooked because a couple of the chips had stuck together when being cooked. My flauta was steak in a tortilla. We were there about 1 PM on Saturday. Only 1 or 2 tables there. The service is OK. I think she's new and young so I was OK with it. The restaurant looks clean. Salsa and chips are good. We ordered mango mojito, tableside guacamole, spinach enchilas, brisket tacos, and platillo veracruz. Every dish comes with charro beans. I love them. It taste so good. The foods taste really good. My husband and I went to Cesar's Mexican Grill this past Saturday. We loved the whole experience. Our server, Casandra, was so nice and attentive. She made the experience great. It was a small restaurant but the atmosphere was nice, beautiful pottery and accents around the room. The food was wonderful. My husband ordered the Steak con Camarones and said it was delicious. I ordered the Pollo in crema and it was so wonderful. Both meals had very large portions and priced very resonable. We will go back as soon as possible. Is worth the drive from our home. Overall a really enjoyable experience! Our waitress was excellent!!! We had the jalepeno and house margaritas. Tasty. Probably not my all time fave or anything, but tasty. Not overpowering with that nasty "mix" taste! Would totally order again!! The house was surprisingly really good! Would def order that one again. We also had the fajita nachos- those were the best of the night!!!! The Flautitas were great! Chicken filled and crunchy! Yummmm! The tamales were okayyyyy. Tasty, but not Tia Isabella la cena valiosa (Aunt Isabella dinner worthy). But we ordered that as a Pick 3, maybe as the entree it's better. We will definitely be back! I can't understand why this place isn't busy all the time! The food was terrific, the staff is friendly and on point with recommendations, and the margaritas are delicious. My boyfriend and I arrived during the lunch hour on a Wednesday, to find the dining area mostly empty (only 3 other tables of patrons). I ordered a margarita on the rocks, which arrived quickly with chips and salsa (which is now one of my favorite restaurant salsas of all time), while the boyfriend stuck with water. We ordered chicken fajitas with a mixture of corn and flour tortillas, and included rice and beans. It was a TON of food!!! And so, so good. The chicken was perfectly seasoned with no gristle or fat, and the onions were plentiful. We ate it all can't wait to go back. Thank you so much to our great waitress~ I know I asked for her name but I can't remember what it was. It was at her suggestion that I tried the margarita, and I'm so glad I did. Wanted to try a new local place for dinner. This is an adorable family owned Tex Mex restaurant. We got there a little early but as we left it was really filling up. I loved the decor everywhere. And we got the margarita special which was served in this adorable cup that made me feel like I was in Mexico! Service was phenomenal. He constantly checked in but not overly. Nice little local place. I come by once in a while and it's very good. It has a small bar and the main seating area sits about 50 - 60. The food has been good each time I've been here and they serve a good drink at the bar. We've also come here for the lunch specials and they are very good as well. They have all the basic Mexican food plates, but the are done very well. It's a small restaurant in a little strip mall, but worth the time. read more

Four and one half star rating is inflated. Not to be unkind. This restaurant is representative of 90 % of new Mexican restaurants opening in the Collin county area. The decor is Spartan and cold. The space feels disjointed and uncomfortable. The service is great and the food passable but I can find no compelling reason to return. If you live close, this would be an ok place to grab a quick bite but, they need some work. Middle of the road at best. Oh, and the main reason they are getting three stars?
