I purchased the upgraded roof and upgrade to beautiful Hardie siding. Fast forward and I'm leaving a 1 star review. Why? Because they only warranty their work product for 2 years a little but important fact that must have been in the contract and I missed. It certainly wasn't spoken. I recall reviewing the Hardie as well as the CertainTeed Roof warranties but nothing about a 2 year warranty from Colonial. Given that information would I have chosen a different company? Of course! I have 2 major problems, a leak inside of my sunroom as well as a problem with the siding which has destroyed a window and French door. A technician came out for the door and explained the when the siding was installed on the deck, they failed to do the flashing. And well, you can see in results in the pictures. When contractors come to provide estimates without missing a beat, each says I shouldn't be having these problems after 4 years and that Colonial should repair. I explain the 2 year clause and they laugh. So, here we are, either file a claim with the roof and siding manufacturers, pay out of pocket OR file a claim with my insurance company. Each option sucks because I went with a company which doesn't provide an actual warranty for their work product. Don't be me, be better.

So I decided to go with NV Service based on these great reviews. Yea..can't always trust these Yelpers. So I gave NV a nice 2.5 star because I received an average type job. I wasn't home to watch them clean the house but someone was there to supervise. I asked how many people would be sent over..there was only ONE maid sent. As SOON as I came home, I saw dust in an area where everyone goes..the kitchen! I was like nah..I can already tell that it wasn't great, but I thought to myself that maybe the inspector will look over it..nope. That inspector tore into the house. Said it "needed to be recleaned." Now dont get me wrong, the place looked ok, but not good enough for what I paid. I even had to pay overtime because it was pushing the maid(s) into overtime. .Im sure I could clean better than the service I received. BEST PART OF STORY: I was going to be charged an extra 150 from my rental property to have it recleaned! No sir! I called my rental property and told them that I will clean it myself! So I got up at the crack of dawn and went to clean it myself. Yes. I. DID. THEIR. JOB. FOR. THEM!
