We had family over for Christmas Eve so we ordered scallops and salmon. I picked it up that day and everything was made so easy for me even though it's probably their busiest day of the year. Very fresh fish at really good prices. Their Friday fish and chips is the best I've had anywhere. It's the only fish and chips order where I can eat the entire fish because the batter is so light and tasty. Not greasy and soggy like so many. I have bought many random items over the past month from the Daily Catch​ and have not been let down. I have dealt with two people, a young woman and a young man. I have bought various fillets and have yet to have a single stray bone. The shrimp is hand cleaned by them (most market shrimp is cleaned by slave labor in Thailand) and is great. Price per .lb is decent. My only nitpick is that they do not have fresh herbs. Highly recommend. read more

We usualy go here for fish and chips on Fridays which are OK. This week we decided to try the chowder and clam cakes. First we had to wait 25 minutes no one was around! They have a bell apparently it doesn't work. We even called the store while were there and no one answered! Finaly a kid came out from the backroom and we asked what was going on and he said he working in the backroom but watching the camera-apparently not. We get the chowder and the potatoes are not cooked and the clam cakes were the heaviest darkest ones I have ever seen. Not going there anymore. read more

Just purchased 2 pounds of Jumbo Shrimp. Beautiful, fresh, but they weighed it in thick plastic containers, 2 of them! So I weighed them when I got home, only 1 1/4 lbs. Great, $22 for plastic. Call them, and they didn't seem to care, told them they should try plastic bags. but no apologies, or suggestions to bring it back. NEVER AGAIN read more

I love this place. The seafood is fresh and wonderful, and the owner couldn't be nicer or more accommodating. Not only is their seafood fresh, but their prepared foods are delicious as well. We love the smelts, quahogs, baked stuffed shrimp, coconut shrimp, and the list goes on and on. Last week I purchased mussels and steamers, and both were delicious. This is a terrific place to buy Fish and Chips on Friday. The fish is the best I have had, heavy and fresh. The fries were also perfect! The price is very good considering the potions and the shop is very clean and smells incredibly un-fishlike for a fish market. The seafood salads and fresh fish are also great. We went in 15 mins before closing but the service was so great that we did not even realize it. We were a bit indecisive but they were happy to work with us so we got a combination of shrimp and crab cake only, they were willing to throw in scallops too. The crab cake was flavorful and the shrimp was tasty and cooked to perfection, juicy and tender. We also ordered a pint of clam chowder. It was delicious and well seasoned with big chunks of juicy clam. They sell fresh seafood that looked great. The place was clean. Would recommend it to anyone, they only cook on Fridays though. read more

Place is clean, fish is good. The owner rarely smiles but his wife is pleasant. That said, I never let the owner's personality deter me from going in many times for raw quahogs, lobsters, etc. In fact, I had been a long-time customer, so this was not my first visit. I ordered fish & chips as I occasionally did one Friday night and arrived 5 minutes before closing. I was their last customer of the day. No sooner did I pay for my order and the owner walks out of the store with a stack of fish & chip orders that he started giving away to random people coming out of a karate school next door. He yelled, " Anyone want some free fish & chips? I made too many." Wow. Really? Ya think he might have offered me an extra one since I had just bought one? Would that have been a nice gesture to a good customer? Of course! Truth be told, I wasn't going to write this and I'm only writing it now because I just wrote another review on Yelp. This happened about 3 or 4 years ago. I have not been back to the store since. There are other choices or seafood in the area. After reading excellent reviews, I went there yesterday. Purchased some steamers which were excellent. Purchased a two pound lobster and cooked it only to find out the meat had turned to liquid mush both in the tail and claws. This occurs when the lobster has been in the tank to long and goes "stale". Will never buy another one from them. read more
