Went here wanting to buy a textile jacket for the hot summer days. Left with exactly what I wanted. Very wide selection of jackets, helmets, gloves, etc. I was assisted by a gentleman I don't remember his name but he was very helpful and welcoming as soon as I walked in the door. Great and friendly help. They even have larger sizes, I bought size 12 1/2 boots there. I got a new pair of boots for 179. They are super legit. They were on sale for 210, but the girl at the count said they were cheaper. I would have been stoked to get them for 210. Beautiful store. I would buy a jacket but I am a bit too large. They great helmets and body suits, armor whatever you might want. Don't be fooled, their prices are legit. Could not be more happy with them. Got my AGV helmet there too. Best helmet ever! read more

One thing you dont want to go cheap on is gear... and holy crap does this store have it!... as far as i know their top quality and ive been researching leathers for quite some time... being the leather makers for one of my favorite racers (Rossi) out there is also a plus.. that being said... if you find leathers for $50 cheaper... then u find yourself sliding around after a nasty spill... that $50 could have made the difference between you keeping that tattoo hidden under those leathers =) read more

There are not enough good things I can say about this location and the employees that work there. A lot of motorcycle stores don't carry a large inventory of female gear, so it was a struggle for me up to that point. Elisabetta was more than helpful, and very patient, when it came to shopping for a one-piece suit and boots. We spent a couple hours with different suggestions and fits until I found what worked. I cannot be more grateful for her assistance, I've never been so confident in spending $1200. She is the main reason I will definitely make the 2+ hour drive to return to this location. read more

I can't say enough great things about this store. First impression walking in: very clean, well kept, organized. Not too big, not too small, just right! And it doesn't feel crowded or claustrophobic like some motorcycle apparel shops. It is very hard to shop for ladies apparel since every brand makes different cuts and you basically need to try it on in person to know if it is a right fit. Almost all the stores I've been to have a very poor ladie's selection. Because this store is all Dainese, they had all their models in stock! old and new season. The staff was very VERY knowledgeable and helpful. I came in looking for a leather jacket, with only a couple stipulations (good protective armour, feminine cut). The guy that helped me was very truthful and gave me the pros and cons to every jacket. I didn't feel any pressure to buy at all and he was very honest! He gave me tips on what to look for in a jacket that I had no idea about before I walked in the store. Overall, great experience! Definitely recommend for ladies; the cut of the jackets is very flattering to the feminine figure and everything is so comfortable. I bought my first textile jacket from the d-store. The staff has always been very helpful with finding the right fit and type. I can't remember her name anymore but a girl with straight short hair helped me find a jacket and I would have been so lost without her. I went back and bought a pair of white pro carbon leather gloves and loved them so much, just went back about a month ago and bought another pair in black. And they were on sale! So much better. Usually they don't have things that are in my size but I've been getting luckier. read more

DAINESE SUCKS .i being 6'3" tall had to buy one of the three coats made in tall size ,the dainese d1 was one of my very limited choices at 599$ not cheap by any means .this company only warranties for one year which is rather pathetic being the price of their gear .my zipper tab broke off my 600$ coat ,dainese offers nothing except a referral to some other local business for repair.which I was quoted a 130 to fix a zipper .stay away from this company shop around there's better gear manufacturers that honor and stand behind the quality and longevity of their products read more

First of all, let me say that I am a Dainese fan boy, the engineering that goes into their gear makes it the only gear I trust. Came in on Saturday 8/22...Mixed experience here, If it was not for the Italian lady I would have definitely not spent any money at the store. The tall customer service rep (just an employee) was borderline rude, honestly at a high end location I expect much much more from the employees, not a low class walmart employee attitude. After the tall dude f*cked off to mess around with his coworker. Luckily, Elisabetta came up and offered some help, she was a pleasure to deal with and was very helpful, after deciding on what I wanted and clearing up that they will price match one of the bigger websites. I bought my item there even though if I had bought it on the website there would have been no tax, I did not mind paying a little extra simply because of how awesome Elisabetta was and because I wanted to support their cool store. I can imagine needing much more dainese gear in the future, this store is a great spot, but I will definitely know which person to ask for assistance. Great store! I finally had the opportunity to drive down from Agoura Hills to Costa Mesa on 01/31/11. I would highly recommend making the trip and checking out their selection of Dainese merchandise. The staff was very helpful, and Corey steered me in the right direction of what I needed based on daily riding. I ended up purchasing a two piece suit, boots and gloves. The leather on all of these items was the best I have ever experienced in my 30+ years of riding (like butter). Honestly you get what you pay for and if you want a high quality product, with the latest safety features, then I highly recommend this store. Functionality is important, but image can be as well. I wore this suit to work and received many compliments on the style and quality. Make the trip to the store - you will not be disappointed. I email them couple times asking about their custom suit program but they never response my emails. I call them and they did not give me clear answers. Finally Tom call me back and said Dainese can not make a custom suit for me because they do not make big size suit. Then what is the point of custom suit if I can not order a custom suit? I've been wanting to try out Dainese gear for the longest time, but the prices and limited availability kept me away. I heard about this location and rode hour and a half to check it out. By the time I got there they were almost closing. The Sales Rep Curt told me not to worry or rush. It was my first time trying out their product and I could tell it's in a different league than Astars. I guess "you get what you pay for" applies perfectly. To my surprise they had a big sale and the prices were way better than I expected. I ended up getting a leather perforated jacket (D1), druid st gloves and Kansas kevlar jeans. I learned my lesson when that sob took me out on the freeway. They stayed an hour after closing to accommodate me and even after they closed Curt came over to my bike and we chatted for another half an hour. What an enthusiast! I'm glad that I didn't shop online because I woulda end up with stuff that doesn't meet my needs and paid a higher price. Awesome store with endless racks of top quality gear from Dainese. I returned from a trip to France over Christmas where I almost bought a new set of leathers. Something told me that I should just wait and check out the D-Store in Costa Mesa to make sure I had the right fit. Really glad I did. I arrived first thing in the morning and was greeted by none other than Elisabetta. She was super friendly, knowledgable and helpful. Not only did she spend whatever time I needed to find the right suit, but she gave me lots of helpful advice along the way. All this with a very no pressure approach. She answered all my questions, made me an espresso, and provided me with a bottle of water too. Really outstanding customer service that many sales associates could learn from. Known for great products, however terrible customer service. Came in to find (buy) a $600 jacket. Spent 30 minutes in the store and observed as the employees were more interested in flirting with each other than actually helping customers. Such a shame... Horrible service is a deal breaker. Not to mention two semi-annual sales that are not to be missed! If you're a female street and track rider like me you know its hard to find a decent offering of womens gear, but such isn't so at the D-store! Many models of leather jacket, leather pants, textile jacket, textile pants, 1pc and 2 pc suits, gloves boots and more! One stop shop as far as I am concerned. The D-store also often hosts events, either motogp viewing parties,seminars, and sometimes famous athletes like Nicky Hayden or Max Biaggi come in and sign autographs: the D-store is always giving back to the motorcycling community! I love Dainese gear and always have a hard time finding a good selection. When I moved to the area, I headed down to the store asap. What a great selection they had too. Everything I'd ever want and every size I'd ever need. Even the clearance section had really cool stuff in good size selections. The guys there were really nice, super helpful, informative and attentive, but no pressure at all. I bought a pair of boots I'd wanted for a long time but couldn't find (still loving them). They offered up a free monster energy drink and we chatted bikes for a bit. Super comfortable environment and great staff. If you haven't been there it's worth a trip to check out. read more

When I was buying a race suit I had multiple sales-people giving me attention for over an hour while I tried everything on and found the perfect match for me. Most recently I was looking for sport-touring pants and Patrycja went above and beyond by calling me on multiple occasions to keep me updated on my order. I tried to get my under warranty jacket repair but was a terrible experience. Send them several e-mail no respond. I spoke to their customer service rep and was advised the items in question will be resolved. Two months later no answer what so ever. What of waste of my time. Dainese did make great products when they produce their garments in Italy. Now, the dam shoulder protection is a joke. Little kids working at their customer service are worthless. read more

support the brands that support the riders!!! ive been a loyal dainese customer for years, top notch quality stuff, and when u need some warranty work or repairs they go above an beyond to help out, i have a leather jacket which zipper started coming a little bit undone, well even though it was 4 months after the warranty expired they still took it in and repaired it no cost, these guys are great!!! they even gave it back drycleanes and everything!!! look foward to a lifetime of using dainese products!!! read more
