I'd say this place is just okay... nothing to brag about. It was mid for me. They had a mixed daiquiri special for $2, but I couldn't taste any alcohol at all, which was disappointing. The service was quick, especially considering I went during lunchtime, so that was a plus. I ordered the seafood pasta, not bad, but nothing that made me want to come back. The parking lot is pretty small. I did like the vibe inside though. The tables with the Jet magazine cover photos were a nice touch, both TVs were playing Black shows, and there was rap music playing in the background, which gave it a cool atmosphere. My sisters and I decided to happy hour here this past Wednesday. The service was horrible. We got there and was told it would be a 20 minute wait for a table which wasnt an issue. Once seated we looked over the menu. When ordering we asked about the daiquiri flavors and was told that they weren't ready, it would take 30 minutes. The food took 30 minutes. The waitress dropped it off and left, not bothering to ask if anything else was needed. When we did catch her passing by and asked again about the daiquiris. Again we were told that they weren't ready and it would be 15-20 minutes. We waited and asked the waitress one more time, guess what...they weren't ready. On my vacation I stumbled upon Daiquiri Land! It was a small restaurant/ bar is somehow connected to OMG seafood, which is right next-door. They play R&B and hip-hop music and the menu is extensive and reasonably priced. The waitresses were nice and the drinks and food was great. On my four day vacation I ended up getting food three times. They also have hookah if you're interested in that as well. I ordered the fish shrimp, gumbo, fried pickles and daiquiri, as well as a hookah, there was a wait for the hookah which I was waiting for, however, the waitress came back 20 minutes later to inform me that the hookah coal warmer was not working, then I was waiting for an order and a missing item of boudain balls, which didn't come until it was time to leave and we had to remind her that we did order that. It's a very small place so if you're between the ages of 21 to like 30 then this is place for you. The bartenders drinking and also taking shots and yelling across the bar having conversations with friends. I ordered the salmon bites which were very salty and my fries were cold. I don't like to send food back so I paid for it and left it there. On the upside, although it's a small place it's decorated nicely and they made use of the space they have. They also have a good happy hour menu and maybe what I ordered was not their best but for others they stated their food was delicious. Let me start with the parking so it's a smaller parking lot but there is street parking available. I ordered fried pickles which were super salty so I wouldn't order again. I don't want to complain as it was only like $4.50. Then I ordered a Side Car and a beer. Be sure to ask which brown alcohol your prefer as I believe it's Martell or another cognac. Now the service was EVERYTHING. My waitress was Jasmine and she was sweet. She checked in me and had a great personality. She also suggested if I was looking for an older sexy vibe she suggested that I go to Peachez. I told her I planned on leaving and going there the same night.
