Every time I go in, I find more than I planned for or really need, but it seems like I really need- meals, meats, seafood, a decent grocery section and some specialty breads. The line for lunchtime sammies and specials can be a little daunting sometimes but the staff works to keep things moving along, getting food prepared and in the right waiting hands as quickly as possible. Speaking of the staff, in my experience they're helpful, professional and personable, without exception. This, the (original) Weymouth store is small but mighty! They know their stuff so ask your questions and they do their best to answer!

They have some dry goods, some veggies, but their big thing seems to be the freezer in the corner, their raw meats, and the hot and cold food counter that caught my eye. They definitely have their fans, one of which took home their American Chop Suey and meatball sub, and was planning to drench it with more of their tasty sauce at home, that they already had from a previous visit. I went with their large Tom Turkey Sandwich for $10.95 (Thanksgiving sandwich) and paid at the register on the other side of the room. It was large indeed, and stuffed full. The only improvement would be if they'd have toasted the bread. Gotta remember to ask them to toast it before filling it, next time!

They have people in the store doing shopping for Shaws customers. I don't know if they're Shaws employees or what they are but they have actually ruined the store now I go to Stop & Shop because I'm tired of dodging their employees who are doing shopping they cut you off. They run right by you. They will jump in front of you and take something off the shelf and run back. You just have to watch out for those people or you will have a collision. I asked one a question and their answer was somewhere on aisle seven if it's not there, we don't have it but actually the product was an aisle nine I think the customers that are in the store should come first as far as service goes, make the customers in the store, a priority, those kids with the carriages and the carts should wait for the customers in the store to do their shopping before they jump in front of them or cut them off with their carriage because they don't even look. All set. Sorry because I really like some of the people.

Was shopping as usual at this location besides other same company's in the area and I usually go in…read morethe mornings to shop up and down each aisle to get the best price for my dollars as most of the shoppers! I check and compare prices from other spots and if on Sale and worth my dollars I will buy it! I check the meat department and the Fish department plus prices for bruised or blemished fruits and vegetables that are .99cents a pound that I can prepare the same day or next... I also check for the Yellow Tags which shows it's 50% of the Price. My question and consumer concern IS!!! If the Item let's say Normally $8.99 a pound but this week was on Sale for $5.99 a pound.....if it did not sell by the Freshness Date.....they place a 50% Yellow price label to sell it fast....BUT I FOUND OUT TODAY ITS NOT 50% off as it's Printed because what their practice is from what I was explained by the person behind the Fish Counter : IS THAT THEY BASE THE REGULAR PRICE BEFORE THE SALE EVEN THOUGH THE SALE PRICE IS LISTED AND TOOK 50% OFF THE REGULAR PRICE AND "NOT" on the SALE PRICE WHICH IS ON THE LABEL! So my CONUNDRUM IS..... IS IT REALLY 50% OFF ? I Think Not! If you're going to put a Yellow Label of 50% off and a PRODUCT THATS ALREADY ON SALE, IT SHOULD BE 50% OFF THE SALE PRICE AND NOT WHAT IT WAS BEFORE THE SALE... Love to hear that rationale from STOP N SHOP Corporate! As an Example I also Shop at SHAWS AND HAVE PURCHASED MANY ITEM WHEN MARKED 50% it's OFF AT SHAWS ON THE LOWEST POSTED PRICE! Thats the Right Mindset! And another Comparison so have found in SHAWS THEIR BAKERY GOODS IS ALWAYS 50% OFF WHEN PLACED IN THE DAY OLD SECTION, BUT, STOP N SHOP IS ONLY 33% OFF when they Markdown their Day Old... funny that for Bakery Goods for the same day use I ALWAYS CHECK OUT SHAWS and Buy them there! But most of the times you really need to be Vigilant when shopping and Yes both Markets do have some great savings if you look and compare!

A young man at the customer service desk, named Dillion, I think, was the most kind, generous person I have ever experienced at a convenience store. Everyone, if you happen to meet Dillion, please let him know he is very sweet and that he should keep doing what he's doing, because he is going places. All the other employee's were great!! Everyone is helpful and kindhearted. The food is also very good. There is everything from chips, to high end dining food. I love this stop and shop and I will definitely try to come back regularly!

You do not find good customer service anymore, anywhere these days - so please keep up the good work guys! However, a couple days ago my fridge resembled the shelves of bread, eggs, and milk before a nor'easter. Truth be told, I'd actually tried to go to my beloved Trader Joe's, but it was closed on this fine New Year's day. Thus, this fateful day was the one I would give The Fresh Market a second chance. I liked it so much I returned four days later! The Fresh Market has some everyday staples, as well as some speciality and premium/higher end brands and products. They have an impressive bakery as well as meat/seafood department. There is a wide array of cheeses and great assortment of deli salads, sandwiches and heat & eat items. Further, a superb selection of bulk (priced per pound) coffee, nuts (including blends) and candy. All items seemed to be of top freshness and quality. After trying the bacon from their meat department, I may not go back to the prepackaged stuff again! There is also a fair selection of different wines at various price points, a limited selection of liquors, and a cooler with beer. Price-wise, it depends on what you're looking at. Some things aren't *quite* at the Market Basket level, but more-or-less in line with Stop & Shop or Shaws. Other things (I'm looking at you, bulk Jelly Beans) seem like they're a couple bucks over what I'd expect. The store itself is very clean, and all the shelves are stocked nicely. All the staff I've had the pleasure of interacting with have been professional and kind. Finally, the music playing is classical, of all things! Makes you feel fancy so you spend more money? I'm not a psychologist, but it seems to work!
