Oh how I miss you dairy queen... =( where will I go for my tasty blizzards when the time calls... Yogurt park just doesn't cut it when it comes to mixing in toppings and yogurt together. The workers here are all your friendly neighboring high school students... if they mess up (add too much or too little) just let them know and they will not hesitate to make you a new one. Poor customer service. Not sure how you give someone an Oreo blizzard when they ask for a candy came and then half fast the screw up! Jerk.

Called at 9pm to see what time they are open until and girl said they were open until 10pm. Drove there and got there exactly at 9:35, and girl (same girl I think) told me they have shut everything down because they are closing and the only thing I can order are a couple of the sundae's! Terrible service! Why advertise you are open to 10 if you are really just trying to get done closing early and really stop serving food a long time ago?! I had a horrible experience this past Saturday, I ordered a cake online for my daughters 15th birthday, when I went to pick it up, they didn't receive the order even though I had my confirmation email, in return they wanted me to select another cake in the freezer, with only a 10% discount, we had over 25 people at our party that was the reason for the special order cake, the freezer only had small cakes. Then when we asked for them to put a man on the cake they said the person that does that is not here, no offense but how hard is it to write on a cake!!! Very disappointed on your customer service. So we are in the era of smart phone/technology. I was EMAILED a coupon that I could not use at the store because it was not printed. I was very upset, why could they not scan the coupon or MAIL me a coupon, I apologize that I ran out of ink and I dislike that they don't have a system of being able to scan a coupon or at least compensate. I love dairy Queen, but I wanted to reach out for the food instead of the common sweets. I was sadly disappointed, I tried the chili dog, oh no. The hot dog was the smallest thinnest hot dog I've ever seen, very sad. Stick with the ice cream products and you will never go wrong, but stay away from the food. read more

This was on 9/3 about 8ish....Went in with my friend Scott, we both ordered blizzards, the girl didn't serve it flipped.....he said something...she said she couldn't help because she wasnt sure of it...the. Said ...to there werent any coupons left..then the guy behind the counter didn't serve mine flipped!!!!!!!.we both were shocked...said we like coupons for free blizzards like the commercial said... Extremely irritated with this location. I came in a banana split blizzard (my usual pick at Dairy Queen). At EVERY Dairy Queen I've been to that blizzard consists of strawberries, bananas, chocolate syrup, and pineapples. I'm not sure why but my "banana split" blizzard ONLY had strawberries and bananas, nothing else so technically I had a strawberry banana blizzard. I'm so annoyed because by the time I could turn around and go back it was already closed. I thought perhaps I just needed to eat some from the top and I'd eventually get the other mix -ins but NOPE!!! Careless. read more

Dairy Queen is one of the few ice cream places that is just really great. The blizzards and dipped cones are always good. Since it's turning hot and summer is almost around the corner, it's nice to have a break here because it's really peaceful and quiet. read more

I always forget to review this location when I go there. I always get great service from the young kids, the place is always clean. I wish the S'Mores Blizzard was available all year long my favorite is Resse's Peanut Butter Cup. New flavor I would recommend is Salted Chocolate Caramel Truffle...its to DIE for! read more

We are regulars here but there have been changes that are not favorable. Banana split had less than a teaspoon of chocolate, never did see pineapple and the strawberry tasted like metal. Charged extra for whipped cream and nuts. I have never seen a banana split without whipped cream and nuts. Very little of everything including ice cream. We were the only customers at the time so they weren't rushed. Hope this isn't going to be the norm or we will go to Cypress DQ. They also haven't figured out the right way to dip so it always lets the ice cream out dripping. So sad because we have been going there for many years and loved it, not anymore. read more

If I could rate this Dairy Queen half a star I would because the service I experienced tonight was terrible. First I walk into the establishment having to use the bathroom and seeing that two previous customers had used one, i thought that i could do the same. Unfortunately, that was not the case. So I left to find a bathroom and walked back to Dairy Queen . When I went to order , I asked my server, Mike M , why I wasn't able to use the restroom when two previous customers had used it. Not to mention the two previous customers were women who were wearing provocative outfits and I just got off of work. He just gave me a look with no response. Like if you are going to let customers use the restroom, let all of them use it . Not just the ones you please. I was a paying customer and yet I was denied this privilege . I proceeded to order my blizzard which looked like a hot mess. The staff was trash , my blizzard was trash . This was a trash experience . Also the place was empty and they said they had no fries. I love Dairy Queen very much, I have gone there for so many years, but the fact that I had to experience such awful service from an employee really disheartens me. "Evelyn", or so they said her name was, was extremely rude. I asked her about some of the new flavors they had and she gave me the most rude stare I have ever seen. Not only did she stare at me so rudely, she ignored my questions. Instead of continuing to help me out another employee took over. As a customer, and former worker in the fast food chain, I know that that is not how a paying customer should be treated. It is a shame that I had to give the ice cream place that I love such a shameful review because of her. It also upsets me that this is not the first time I have heard about a negative interaction with this employee. The rest of the employees were terrific but "Evelyn" seemed to have changed my opinion about the place. Something needs to be done about this employee if we want to see a positive change. read more

I came here with my boyfriend last night. Very horrible service to say the least. The girl at the cash register was very slow and not friendly. To be honest it didn't seem like she knew what she was doing. Now mind you there were 4 employees working and it wasn't even busy. I ordered a small banana split blizzard. It was made pretty fast. The downside is my blizzard was wrong. I don't know if the guy who made mine was new but it only contained, vanilla soft serve and bananas. Seriously?! So ridiculous! Where's the chocolate? Where is the stawberries?? On top of that my boyfriend never got his blizzard he ordered. He ordered the same thing as me but a medium. We went up to the register and told them he never received his blizzard and then I told them my order was incorrect. They fixed mine but didn't even make the other blizzard we were missing. We were super disappointed and just left. The staff seems like they really don't care. I would like to contact management because this was just ridiculous! Went with the family to get some ice cream as we love Dairy Queen but this time it wasn't so great. Ordered our stuff and all was good. As we were leaving the store, the young guy working yells Happy Hanukkah to us as soon as we got outside just before the door shut. I turned around to look at him and he had this smart a** look on his face. I could only assume he was saying this because we didn't leave a tip. If I had extra cash to spare I might have left a tip. I had the worst experience at this Dairy Queen because of the girl taking my order, she made me feel like I was an idiot. here's what happened- I walked in with my boyfriend and his sister. at Dairy Queen in Phoenix where I live you can order a tropical blizzard which (by obvious context clues) would mean strawberry, banana, pineapple, coconut, etc. my boyfriend and his sister ordered what they wanted and I started ordering a small tropical blizzard. the girl looked at me like I wasn't even speaking English. she had no idea what to even say. she said "like with strawberry?...." like obviously it's fruit in ice cream? yes? she mentioned that they don't have that blizzard there and that they don't have coconut so I said "oh okay it's just because where I live you can get that, I don't live here" and she tried for a few minutes to figure out what exactly it was that I was trying to order. she asked a second time if strawberries were involved in this blizzard. I told her banana and pineapple as well. she typed in the order all as add ins because she has no idea what tropical means and clearly nobody in Cerritos eats that type of thing I guess. we were waiting for our orders and we saw two other employees reading my order as if they were completely stumped as well. she then gave me like dead on direct eye contact telling them "she's not from here.. she said it's a tropical blizzard" like really? it's that difficult to add fruit to vanilla ice cream? "she's not from here" as if I'm from a completely different planet where they "put fruit in plain ice cream" it was the joke of the week between my boyfriend and his family. we told everybody about these people. so anyway, when they handed him and his sister their blizzards they did the thing where they turn them upside down and hand them over. mine? oh no. they filled my blizzard almost about two whole inches over the top and it was dripping everywhere. they didn't turn it upside down because they had to go and mess up how much to put in a small cup too. it was basically them saying "you made us work harder so here, have a dripping cup of ice cream and no napkins" they didn't say anything to me. they all just made me feel stupid. oh and not to mention that I got no pineapple either. I got a strawberry banana blizzard. which if I knew this would've been so hard for them I would've just gotten that to begin with. these people are idiots. I'll never go here again. read more
