My husband and I have been to many Dairy Queen's just for the blizzards and I have to say that this Dairy Queen has the best blizzards. I order the cookie dough blizzard and there is cookie dough all throughout the cup. When we go to the winter garden location, there is cookie dough only on the top part leaving the majority of the cup just ice cream. We also love this location because it's super close to where we got married. Also, the customer service is super friendly and we get our order in a timely manner. We really do need a better Dairy Queen in this area, I was craving some fresh chicken tender box and blizzard from Dq so I drove 20 mins to go. I place an order for original chicken tenders. Came out with loaded bbq sauce on them. I was in the drive thru and had to go inside the establishment. Went in they exchange the tenders however now the onion rings had bbq sauce on them. Told them that and they supposedly made me other onion rings however they were soggy and old. Couldn't even eat them. Chicken tenders were okay. By the time I got back to my car my blizzard was melted. Legit no communication during the entire process. I'm amazed they are still up and running. Got their mint oreo blizzard that is pretty much melted- they didn't do the flip test. Additionally, they forgot to add dilly bar to my order (I didn't realized until the next day). So I went back to store to ask for it. The Indian girl worker dismiss me asking for another one by saying "you should've call us that we missed something in your order, we can't give it to you." Being rude, it wasn't even our issue that YOU missed what we order and we paid for it. I suggested her check the cctv. Told to go inside the store and 30min later finally they consider checking cctv. Was told it'd take 20hrs to check cctv. This DQ is 20min away from me and my gas spent to get here at 3 different times worth more than the dilly bar. The Indian guy worker wasn't professional either as he raised his voice at me and tell me to come back once they double checked the cctv. The man at the register was nice but the young girl (I believe it's their daughter) is the rudest employee I've ever encountered at a restaurant. We were leaving and I guess my child left her tray on the table. She literally yelled at us to get back there and put it away like we were her employees lol. I was shocked and appalled. This place is a shame to the Dairy Queen brand. Stopped in for a blizzard, the only reason I go to Dairy Queen, and was handed a sloppy, runny mess. There were 3 servers all staring at each other when we walked in to an empty lobby all trying to figure out who would be bothered to help us. I have gone to this Dairy Queen for the final time. For one thing, employees of this place have been rude to me several times. Second, they are so thoughtless when it comes to customer service, it's unbelievable. Last night, I ordered 2 Blizzards that I intended to take home, which is about 6 miles from this restaurant. The guy working the drive thru hands me 2 over-filled cups with ice cream already melting out everywhere. I asked for lids and a bag--their default approach is to not give you these things because they're too cheap to provide even the most basic things you need. I soon found that even the lids and bag were useless because the ice cream was too high above the rim of the cup to allow for a lid. Plus the flimsy bag had melted ice cream all over the outside within seconds. Anyway, on my way home, I was treated to this complete mess of melting ice cream all over my car seat, all over my pants, all over my shirt. This is all because these geniuses don't even think to put something in a double bag or a bigger cup, so that it doesn't melt all over your car and every surface on you and near you. My cone came out all soft and not the iconic cone. I'm definitely not pleased with this. Why is your ice cream so soft? Employees unfriendly, unknowledgeable, unhelpful. Food tastes terrible amd I had a salad. That's bad when something consisting of veggies can't be prepared better. This one has a drive through which I LOVE, plenty of parking. You can eat inside too. I would have given this one FIVE STARS but they are very slow when dealing with several customers at the same time especially atthe drive through window. They never tell a car with a big order to pull around so they can wait on the car behind them that only wants a sundae. Inside the lines back up quickly also. We stopped here on our way back home to Orlando from a day trip to the Gulf coast. Went to the drive-thru to get a dilly bar and a small blizzard. Long wait. I chose Reese's Pieces in the blizzard. I think I counted 10 or 11 small pieces in the whole blizzard and they didn't even taste right. Below standard for any Dairy Queen. I had 4-5 bites and threw the rest out. The dilly bar was ok. Yes, I know that this is DQ and so it is fast "fan" food. Beyond that, I have been to several Dairy Queens throughout Florida (and a few in NJ) and this one is the best. The restaurant is always clean. The food is the standard DQ. Their icecream is great. I am fond of the cherry dip cones (and butter scotch dip, which they do not have at this one, unfortunately). Some DQ only have chocolate dip, so I am happy that they have cherry. I have also had the icecream cakes from here. They are better than the ones you can buy in Publix and worth buying dry ice for the cooler to drive the cake to my sister (her birthday cake). Everyone is very friendly. They now charge for any extras like sauces. I had a craving for an Oreo blizzard. Got it and noticed there was barely anything in it. Just a few on the top. The whole rest of it was plain ice cream all the way to the bottom. If I wanted plain soft serve I would have ordered it. My first job was at a Dairy Queen. We used a lot of cookies and made sure it was all through the blizzard. This was the worst example of a blizzard I have ever seen. Less then a teaspoon of cookies.
