This is a nice place to grab a quick bite to eat. It has a beachfront kind of vibe with a lot of surf decor--it's really cute. The burgers, in my opinion, are better than the wings, and I love that they have sweet potato fries. The wings are a little expensive, I think they come out to about $2 per wing, but they are open after a good amount of places close. The food is average or slightly below. The service was fine. It's decorated like a beachy sports bar. My experience was mediocre. We got mozzerella sticks, burgers, and mahi mahi. We waited over 30 minutes for our food. The mozzarella sticks were fine. The burgers were underdone (everyone ordered them well, but they came out very pink). I didn't really do my research before coming here, which is typically pretty unlike me. I came here on a Tuesday for lunch and it was a super laid back atmosphere. The vibe was more "surfy/beach" style, which is definitely my scene and even the music was good. When I arrived, some of my party was already there so the waitress directed me to the back to meet them. We were greeted by our server and quickly ordered soft drinks. I got a diet coke, which was pretty crisp. One of the better diet Cokes I've had in a while, for sure. We waited on a few more people before ordering, but when we did - I ordered the baha fish tacos. Again, wasn't sure what I was getting into but I'm glad I ordered it. The tacos were large, but also very well seasoned. They weren't too spicy, but also weren't too bland either. The chips were fresh that came on the side and the salsa was alright. Everyone else ordered other things - onion rings, a burger, salads. It's kind of a mod podge menu, but it would fit any party that way! Our waitress was quick to get our order in and help us, but wasn't too overbearing. When asked about what toppings she wanted, she pointed to the list of no-charge toppings and asked for all of them. The burger arrived missing half of the toppings. our server acted all confused when we asked for the remaining toppings. the burger tasted great. It's just too bad it had to go cool waiting for the remaining toppings. I ordered wings and made it a meal with fries and broccoli. I mentioned that I wasn't sure about one of the sauces. The server said she could bring me a side of sauce to try (She didn't tell me that I would be charged for it. I can forgive 50 cents). So my wings arrive with no sauce, no fries, and no broccoli. So I kindly reminded her and started on the wings while I waited. She came back with broccoli, fries and the wrong sauce. Another server came to see if we got our extra sauce. He went and got the right sauce, and our server came and took the first one back. My fries and my wife's fries were a Tale of Two Cities. the best of fries and the worst of fries. My wife's fries were normal looking. All of my fries were a fraction of the length of hers. I didn't order fry bits (they must think I look like Steven Universe). At least the wings tasted good. I recommend both the jerk and the Cajun rubs. We noticed an ad showing $3 shots of Two Trees whiskey. It looked interesting, so we asked our server about it. She said that was available at the bar. I've been here a couple of times but avoided it since I almost always received crappy service. Well this Sunday we wanted to give it a try since we loved their tator tots and their firecracker wings! This time everything was good, the server was amazing I forgot her name but she always made sure we were doing okay! We found out they were out of tators which made us all sad because not many restaurants offer them but they are so good. We decided to stick to fries and chips but they were not the same at all. We also normally eat the boneless firecracker wings but we decided to go with traditional this time, they were not the same at all. There is a mask required till you sit at your table rule set in place which I liked! Every time I come home to visit I get myself some beer and chicken from this spot. Their chicken is juicy and full of flavour. The coconut shrimp tacos are stuffed and the shrimps are plump. The fries are crispy and decently seasoned. The place absolutely screams Florida. Like they went to Bealls across the street for all the decor. I love it. They support local talent and artists and for the community that's a big win. The service is just okay. It was a wonderful weather to sit outside for our dinner. The patio was well lit and this evening there was live entertainment that was a pleassnt surprise. We started off with shrimp avocado egg rolls for an appetizer. These were served hot and plated nicely with a spicy thai sauce. The eggrolls had a good flavor but missing some seasoning. There are some good choices for drinks and hubby tried the rum runner and I had a corona rita. This was a margarita with a corona beer served upside down in it .This drink has a really cute display and was very good. For entrees we had a shrimp rice bowl that was generous with the shrimp and had good flavor. The shrimp blt quesadilla was huge and enough for two people. The quesdilla was okay and was missing cheese seasonings to enhance the flavor. The shrimp tacos were ok.as well. The shrimp was crispy with a flavorful sauce. I had a blackened chicken and avocado wrap that was fresh but i could not taste a blackened flavor on the chicken. I used sone if the spicy sauce from the eggrolls on my wrap. I previously had been to a few Hurricane Grills in Florida. My fiance', Josh P., and I were in the area one Friday night and after a quick look at Yelp I suggested this place. We were immediately greeted by the hostess who promptly seated us. UCF was playing that evening so she seated us at a table where we were able to review the game. It was a gorgeous evening, the decor is cute and the live music just added to the ambiance. I kinda felt as if I was on an island with my beer in my hand. Service - C. Our server was horrible. Hopefully the service business isn't her chosen career path. She was EXTREMELY slow. It wasn't her first day either because there was no trainer in site. It was very noticeable that all the other tables in her section experienced the same below par service. Lucky for her, her bus boy, the hostess and the other servers picked up her slack. I believe a manager may have helped too. If I was able to take our server out of the picture for the evening I would have rated service as an A. Food - B. Even though it took some time to get our order in, the food came out pretty quickly. I ordered 10 extra hot wings. They were not the best I have had but they were a good size and overall pretty good. FYI - extra hot is not very hot. My boyfriend had a burger and upgraded his side to jalapeno fries. Of course I tried one or two of his fries.
