Ran through the drive thru for a Strawberry ice cream treat and ordered the Strawberry Sundae. The guy at the window hands me the treat with the spoon stuck down in the ice cream and no lid and gives me zero napkins. So if I'm driving and I'm the one in my car why no lid on the treat ? And napkins should come with EVERY order unless the Dairy Queen is bleeding money and needs to tighten up their wallets so much that they're instructing staff not to give anything extra unless someone asks for them. I don't know. I think some people may just lack common sense. Anyway...so now I'm stuck having to park and eat this treat because of the no lid situation. I park next to the main entrance and first thing I notice when I look up are hand and fingerprints all over the glass on the door. I'm not sure when is the last time anyone ever cleaned that glass but makes me wonder how clean is it on the inside. The ice cream was good. The topping was a strawberry preserve type of topping and not one fresh strawberry given. Dairy Queen must be struggling. No lids and no napkins and no WINDEX. read more

I needed a cake to bring home for an occasion after work. It was over 90 degrees outside. I called and asked if I could come in to purchase a cake with my dog. The gentleman explained I couldn't come into the store with my dog. I explained to him that I had my dog with me at work all day and I couldn't leave him in the car even for a quick run in....there was a pause but then he described the cakes that were available over the phone and I picked it up at the drive through. Hands down one of the best DQ's in the area; trust me, if it wasn't, we wouldn't travel the 20-25 minutes from Randleman. This review is based solely on my two experiences with the drive thru services. Both times were a joy; we all loved our tasty desserts and we were very pleased with our orders! Service is fast & friendly; very easy to navigate the menu and the employees are helpful and will confirm your order with you to make sure it's correct before you leave the drive up speaker. Big thanks for that! My kids loved their sundaes & blizzards tonight and I of course loved my dessert (vanilla blizzard with caramel, Heath bar and Oreo).
