The ice cream is good, but the food is minimally okay. It also had a dirty floor and the interior is very dated. We won't be back.

I do love DQ, especially the Braziers that offer food. This visit was a few months ago on a drive through West Virginia. The parking area had plenty of capacity and it was clear of debris. Interior was dated and worn down. I ordered a cheeseburger combo with strawberry shake. Behind plastic and mask employees it was very impersonal. Welcome to COVID right! Well I was not feeling the customer service. My order was ready in 10 minutes or so and was ok. Shake was great! Overall a meh experience. 2.5 rounding up with yum shake. read more

The slight aroma of sewage greeted us as we entered on a late Friday afternoon in September. Since I was with a friend who was treating (and was extremely hungry), I did not complain about my skimpy serving of fries nor of the unpleasant smell. This is your typical DQ. You know what to expect honestly. The service is usually good. They do get busy at times, especially in the summer so be patient. The food is just ok. It's fast food at the very best. But if that's what you like then I'm sure it's good. There is definitely plenty of parking. read more

Maybe a 5 star for the locals in the area but not for my group visiting today. They not only got my order incorrect, but my friend's order incorrect when she ordered right after mine. They just made our blizzards incorrectly. Not a big deal, but the fact that it happened two times in a row is what was frustrating. I'm not sure if the girl making them was new or not, but she did not know what the ingredients were for the blizzards. My friend, being a previous DQ employee, corrected her mistakes and we got the correctly made blizzards. A little attention to detail goes a long way. The store closes at 10, and we went through the drive thru at 9:20. We waited for five minutes and suddenly all the drive thru lights turned off. We pulled around to the window, and the employees literally stood inside waving at us, laughing. They refused to open the window. I'm fine with not getting served if they had just told us that they were closing early, but the fact that they stood inside laughing and waving was INCREDIBLY unprofessional. read more

Giving props to the crew and cooks since I arrived with a band bus full of hungry cranky band students coming back from NYC traveling to Mississippi. They served 65-70 students/band parents in and hour and a half with no notice. It is known as fast food but not typically very fast. This is a great place to visit if you like to be treated rudely. The workers they have at the front counter are not very welcoming. They never smile. Never say thank you and they make you feel as if you are bothering them. It's sad really because their ice cream is very good, but because of how I am treated by the workers, I avoid going there. read more

I like their ice cream more then almost any other DQ I have been to, but their portions seen far smaller then other Dairy Queens, or any other ice cream place for that matter. I stopped here for ice cream with my kid sister and her friends. We ordered blizzards, got to the window and waited for 10 minutes. The girls at the window aren't rude, but they lack basic customer service skills, no smiles, no thank yous. Any ways, after waiting, we got our blizzards. She said the correct names and flipped them as usual, and we drive away. My sisters young friend ordered a chocolate extreme blizzard, that consists of chocolate ice cream, brownie pieces, and chocolate chunks. She is eating it while we drive and talk, and after a few bites she realizes that there are full peanuts in her ice cream. And what do ya know? She has a peanut allergy. So this 10 year old girl, is in my back seat having trouble breathing and puffing up in the face. We didn't have time to go back and raise hell, because we had to visit the emergency room. Now, I understand people make mistakes but that is intolerable. Not to mention, my grandfather and grandmother visited the day before and ordered chocolate cones, simple as it can get, and they received vanilla. When they asked for the correct ice cream, the girl at the window shook her head like my grandparents did something wrong and proceeded to be rude for the duration of the transaction. I understand this is a small town place, ran by locals, but if you're going to give completely wrong orders on a regular basis, the girls at the window could at least be pleasant to interact with. read more
