Came here tonight for my strawberry cheesequake craving. The girl who greeted me was polite, and when I paid for extra cheesecake in my blizzard she actually gave me extra! The cooking area looked super clean for a fast food joint too which was a comforting thought. So I mentioned it and the girl behind the counter, could care less what I was saying, but took my food and stomped to the back to fix the problem. 10 min later, what she brought back two items, one which still was incorrect and the other that was halfway melted. The management is non existence andhorrible at this location. The employees are even worse. I don't know how this place stays in business. First of all, they brought us soft serve cones first out of a large order, so they were melting in my hands the whole time. They didn't put any lids on our blizzards or give us a tray for them even though the order was taken as to go, we asked for a tray and lids and only got a tray. When we got home we realized they didn't give us the gravy for our fries that we were charged for which is an abomination because these fries aren't good without sauce. I order a 4 pc chicken strip and onion rings with my cake. I ask for writing on my cake and the lady working the register said they couldn't do that. Only the manager can! DQ is definitely sentimental for me, I came here as a kid growing up with my family. Not always to the Burien location, but it's the closest one that's opened (and worth the drive), besides the closed one in Normandy Park. I am a huge fan of their desserts! I really love their blizzards and love that it comes in a mini size, perfect size btw. I come here when I can for a nice treat and I also get their ice cream cakes for special occasions.
