The blizzards themselves are really good but the drive thru is pretty slow as long as you aren't the only one in line. The service itself is a little inconsistent with some people being very sweet and polite and others getting agitated fast. Theve also been out of icecream a few times which is weird cuz like why else would anyone go there but at least they put up a sign that says "no ice cream" instead of letting me get my hopes up read more

Ordered two blizzards. They were SOUR. Like really sour. Called the shop and the girl who answered said, "oh, yeah we're getting a lot of complaints. The other worker used the wrong machine, that one needs to be cleaned!" So, they just sent out rotten food. They offered new blizzards, um no thanks. Am I the only person who thought Dairy Queen surged burgers and fries I thought they only had ice cream oh and Oreo blizzard was fire

I've been craving some DQ! So many have closed around Louisville, so when we saw that the Crestwood location was open, following our trip to Yew Dell, we had to stop by. A Blizzard on a hot day -- it's classic! I got my favorite, an Oreo Blizzard. This came out like so many beforehand have, full of Oreos mixed into vanilla ice cream. I was particularly impressed by the service. The young man who took our order was so polite and friendly. And when they told us they were out of Dilly Bars, which my sister-in-law ordered, they gave us a substitute for free. DQ brings back memories of childhood -- perfect for summer days. read more

Do not preorder a cake from here and expect to get it. We preordered a birthday cake online. When we went to pick it up we were told they aren't receiving online orders lately and would just have to pick something from the freezer. My daughter was disappointed they didn't have the cake she wanted. So be aware. read more

My wife ordered an ice cream cake online earlier in the week and directed to pick up the cake at this DQ location at 11am. I arrived at 12:15 and a very polite young lady explained the cake had not arrived. Hadn't been to this DQ in a while. Used to have good quick food. Waited 20 minutes in the line. You can't get out of the drive up once you're in it or I would have left. Got burgers and fries. When I finally got to the drive up window the lady manning the window had a sweatshirt on that was completely stained and looked like it hadn't been washed in ages. I looked inside and the place looked dirty. I paid, took my bag (which reeked of old grease) home and promptly threw everything away. I figured a $20 donation was better than eating what I suspected was ill prepared food. The burgers weren't even in their boxes which were smashed. Take my donation and get out of the business. What a ridiculous experience tonight. Waited for twenty minutes for cheese curds and french fries after we were given our blizzards. Cashier and manager had no clue and told us when we questioned the status of our order that they needed to help the people in line... what? We were in line already and had been waiting for TWENTY minutes for our fries and curds. Luckily the customers were nice and understood our situation even though the employee and manager couldn't understand how to complete our order. We never got our cheese curds and finally just asked for our money back and even that was an ordeal. The manager started trying to help someone else in the middle of us trying to get our refund. I really enjoy going to DQ. They have some of the best tasting treats you can get anywhere. My favorite thing to get there is just a good old ice cream cone. I get the chocolate and vanilla swirl. The ice cream is so soft, smooth and creamy. And it has a special taste that is so good. read more

Generally unclean, slow service and the food is gross. We have visited this Dairy Queen a few times and this last particular time will be our last. When you walk in you are greeted by the smell of bathroom, how lovely whilst you are eating? The location is small and parking can be difficult. Anyway we ordered 2 $5 buck 3pc. Chicken strip meals and a 6pc chicken strip basket. All of our chicken was small and dry plus the fries were overdone and under seasoned. I tried one of their new summer berry cheesecake blizzards which was a mistake as it was bland with big pieces of frozen berries and I normally love their strawberry cheesecake blizzard so this was disappointing. This is the absolute worst Dairy Queen I know of. There is something wrong or broke every visit. We are officially through with them. Drive thru broke down, ice cream machine down, credit card machine down, blizzards like soup and with maybe a teaspoon of candy floating on top. Just a cup of vanilla ice cream. Owners must not want to invest in this place. Very poorly run and usually untidy inside. It's a shame that they are such a poor quality restaurant when most DQ's we visit are great. after our failed first run to DQ (my friend and i dropped and lost 40% of our money) we made our way back with very little in our pockets. with our $8.45, in quarters, dimes, and nickels, we ordered our food and the total was $8.46. while carefully putting our dimes and quarters and a five dollar bill for about a minute or so the cashier was extremely patient and said "forget the penny". im sure we will be visiting soon and hopefully this time with a tip! read more

This is by far the worst Dairy Queen. They need some serious quality control. Not only does it normally take a minimum of 15 minutes in the drive through but you never know what you're going to get. Employees don't seem familiar with the menu, you order a small cone and get a large cone or a large cone and get a small, half the time your blizzard is mostly liquid by time it gets to you cause you just spent 30 minutes in line after ordering it. The building is not well maintained and always looks super sticky. If you can find another Dairy Queen I would roll past this one. Unfortunately for me it's the closest one so we end up there but I hope they start to get better!! read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I came in and stood in line to order. It took the guy over 5 minutes to take an order for 2 people. I ordered a mini blizzard and paid. I went to the bathroom. The women's bathroom had pee and poop all over the toilet. I came back out to get my blizzard but they had not started on it. Not a single table was clean in the entire place and the floor looked like it had not been swept or mopped in a very long time. Then the girl making food in the back picked at her face and ear with her gloves on and then proceeded to make food. At this point, they had not even started on my blizzard. Not only that, but they messed up so many orders in our group and had THE slowest service of any fast food restaurant I've ever been to. The drive thru service is always terrible, the employees are extremely slow and the quality of their blizzards is poor.
