Service was extremely slow. Waited on ice cream for 10 minutes with no communication, and then they ran out of the ice cream ordered. Went through the drive thru after to order the rest of our order so it would be faster and could hear the employees complaining and cussing about us. Rude staff, service was rude and had an attitude. Food was okay. Very dissatisfied, usually fine but was not good today.

I've been going to this location for years and never had any problems until now. When I got home and opened the bag I did not expect to receive a burger with blood still in it. Awwww man I was soooo happy to run into this place. I've noticed a lot of Dairy Queen are starting to only continue with their dairy service and not the full menu. I feel Dairy Queen has the best burgers and chili dogs! Whenever I see a Dairy Queen with a full menu, I make it a point to proceed to ordering a cheese burger. After dinner at a night Seafood restaurant, Hubby said "let's find Dairy Queen", I didn't know what it means. Since we're out of town in a land far away from home, he said to google DQ. I googled it and told him about the location. When we got there I was like "for real?" Because I prevent him from having desserts. OMG, Dairy Queen is a dessert house? The house isn't small either. I didn't know anything about DQ until this night. He asked me to check whether they serve Banana Split. The last time I heard about this was way back when I was in Asia, like 20 years ago and even when I go back to Asia, I really don't go looking for banana split or any splits. After checking the menu, confirmed they have it. So we ordered it! We sat down and enjoyed this banana split like a young couple in the 80s, although we're old! Next day? It's hard for Dairy Queen to screw things up, but this location seems up to the challenge. They are consistently out of your favorite ingredients. Sure, if you like obscure flavors like lemon pork chop, they probably have plenty of that. However, if you want Reese's, cookie dough, brownies or anything else that is remotely tasty, you're better off ordering that jazz on Amazon and patiently await crushing that craving for 2 days. The staff are understandably apathetic. Maybe they have eaten all of the goodies as some type of evil prank on all of us Cumberland residents? We may never know. My advice, search your freezer for some ice cream left over from your kids last birthday party, scrape the freezer burn off and enjoy. The dumbest people on this planet work at this Dairy Queen. We came in with a list on my phone of the blizzards we were getting for our office. Somehow, the worker mistook the word 'small' for 'large' and didn't give us one of our blizzards. Every time we order from this location, they mess up the order. Can they just not read? We've tried every way possible: verbalizing the order, printing out a list and handing it to them, and having the list on my phone. Is it that difficult to put it into the machine. One mistake is fine, but when it's consistently bad? That's an issue for the business. When they do get it wrong, they don't take the blame for it. Only once have they gotten the order right. The best worker there is a kind, preschool teacher who doesn't deserve this review. This place is consistent--consistently awful. If you're looking for a job and are pretty stupid, try working here; you'd fit in. This place is terrible and needs a new set of employees--ones that aren't complete morons. read more

If I could I wouldn't give them a star at all. I don't know how the owners of this location still have this Franchise. I know that there has been a problem getting staff, but come on. I was just there and a Saturday night in the middle of Summer the Dining Room was closed. The drive thru told me 45 minutes to get thru. I watched one girl taking orders and making the Ice Cream and the other Employee was sweating the Dining Room that was closed because of lack of staff. Then when they finally take your order no Good Evening Sorry for your wait or nothing. When you get to the window the same kind of attitude. I even had to ask for a spoon and napkins. Whoever owns this either doesn't have a clue how to run it or doesn't care. More people were leaving than waited at a time when everyone wants Business. Unless you have an hour to wait and an Employee who doesn't care I suggest going to another Ice Cream place. By the way it's no quicker in the daytime either I've tried. read more

BEWARE!!! Worst experience I have ever had.. went in around 11:40 today to try and get ahead of the "lunchtime rush".. The line was backed up out the door. They had one person taking orders at the counter.... I ordered a 4 Piece chicken strip basket. Buffalo sauce on the side. Simple enough I thought.. While waiting for 25+ minutes I witnessed the manager doing nothing but standing there and loudly barking out orders to the other employees.. Never once attempted to help out or move from the spot she was standing in even though they were clearly backed up. One employee was in tears because of how harshly the manager was treating her. If I were an employee there I would have walked out by this point and left the Dictator manager to do all of the work herself. I thought the point of a manager was for them to step in when necessary. Finally get my food and get to my car..No buffalo sauce, 3 Chicken strips. Wasn't even worth going back inside to inquire about the mess up. Between the wait, the screaming, complete chaos, and the messed up order, plus the fact that I paid for the 4 piece and got the 3 brought me to write this review. I wont be going back and I feel that several other people that were there today feel the same way. read more
