Ice cream was great! It always is. The staff just going through the motions. Sadly this is what it seems to come too.

I love Diary Queen. However, you have to know which one to go to. Not all are created equal. We were staying in Lake Geneva and wanted something other than Kilwins. This location was a bit of a drive from Lake Geneva's Main Street, but worth the drive. The place has ample seating if you wanted to dine in and is very clean. The decor is a retro 50's vibe. My wife had a Carmel sundae and I had the orange creamsicle milkshake. Both were outstanding and hit the spot. I highly recommend the drive. This place is a gem and well worth the drive. We passed another location while on vacation here in Lake Geneva, but it was closed...when I remembered this one. So I surprised her. This one is cute, clean, and service was friendly and prompt. The drive through moves quickly. They make good blizzards. They are always nice to us when we go there.

Dairy Queen is absolutely disgusting there is no place I've ever seen that is worse than this the guy in the back continuously blows his nose and gets back to work without washing his hands and he puts a ride back in his pocket he also dropped some tools to cook and continue cooking with them after he dropped them and not rushing them off the people on the front continuously smell like they don't put deodorant on they treat their co-workers like crap another guy that works in the bag sanitizes and cleans everything and does a great job but he has called health department on them multiple times and all they got was a warning it's nasty back there so to help his customers he tells them multiple times not to eat their food because it's disgusting and I hope they listen to his advice did you not wear gloves and they continuously do not wash their stuff their blender has this nasty stuff on the top of it and they shove their Blizzard's to the top which continuously touches the nasty gross stuff I saw dead bugs the other day and there front area I could sitter not going to Dairy Queen I prefer Culver's anytime over Dairy Queen they're the most nastiest place I've ever seen it's disgusting it's nasty and you should not eat your food especially that ice cream read more

Fast friendly service. Clean environment all except the ladies room. Would have given 4 stars if it weren't for that. Had the new in the middle royal blizzard. Rocky road ,but the marshmallow middle wasn't really there as pictured, or flavor wise. I sorta figured it would be tho, so no biggie. Disappointed? Eh,maybe a little. The concept is intriguing. Hubby had a banana split. He said it was good. This location was a alternative to the crowded streets downtown Lake Geneva, plus they have a drive thu if you didn't want to get outta your ride,or don't want to unload the kids. read more

DQ for our Wedding Cake. Yes, you read that correctly, we had a DQ wedding cake and it was delicious. Jen at the DQ in Delavan, WI did a terrific job in creating a DQ wedding cake for our wedding. She was so helpful, friendly and genuinely interested in doing this that it made it fun and zero stress. Jen's ideas and experience made us so comfortable we just knew this was the right decision. Jen is super nice, very responsive and runs one of the best DQs we have ever been to, and believe me, we have been to a lot of them! Been going to this location for years, staff is usually pretty quick and friendly. I think in the last 18 years of going thier i've had one wrong order which is pretty damn good. We stopped for something cold and yummy. I got the Orange Julius and my friend got the Turtle Blizzard. Orange Julius was tasty. I got a stomach freeze and a brain freeze. My friend was disappointed. Not much chocolate or caramel in it. They said that it seems that DQ has cut back on ingredients. I have to say the inside of the restaurant is much nicer than those in Chicago. I might also get a meal here if I come back. Many booths to eat at and it was nice and bright. Also clean. Only stop here if you have the time. We were the only ones in the place and they were soooooooooooooo slow making our order. I thought maybe she went out back to milk the cow. Sometimes it is good, and other times no. After seeing snap chat photos of nasty stuff that some of the kids do that work there, I think we are now staying away from there for good. The owner definitely needs to be there more often, don't think that we have seen her there in 3 years. Have purchased the boxes of buster bars, and they were literally half the size they should have been. Consistent is a + and this DQ is definitely not that. read more

Terrible place. Only person in there, me. 2 blizzards. Oreo was ok, but how can you mess that up. Turtle blizzard had no caramel or nuts. Horrible. I normally am alright with this place. Not tonight. I got there and had ordered the #4 combo. I sat there just wandering my eyes because that's just what I do and eventually when the cook started "making" my food not only did I witness him put together my burger with his bare hands. No gloves. But then right after go back to cleaning with those same hands. I'm disgusted at the fact that I don't even know if he washed his hands after putting down the spray bottle the first time. This place is really going downhill. They need an adult in there to run the place. Went there tonight, ordered food and ice cream, paid in the drive-through and get our ice cream. They told us to pull forward and they would bring us our food. We waited 20 minutes. Six cars were served and drove through still we did not have her food. My husband drove around to the front and I went inside and wanted my money back. They were still not done making her food. What they said is that they cannot find the sauce for one of the burgers but everything was already made for over 10 minutes. Told them we don't want to just give me my money back. The two counter girls and I mean girls, I'm guessing they were around 16, we're very polite and gave us our money back. I'm giving this 2 stars instead of one because they were nice.
