I do NOT mean to "yuck on anyone's yum" but I'm most likely just not a DQ person. The establishment was clean and the staff was super friendly, but the ice cream is just not tasty to me. I had an Oreo blizzard and I will say that it was as advertised, it did not fall out when I flipped it over and I shook it pretty hard so that was impressive, but I will unlikely be visiting any DQ location in the future. The "ice cream/soft serve/dairy dessert" is supposed to taste like vanilla but it tasted like freezer burned sweet cream. I took my son here after a game and it was packed! There were only 4 workers but they were impressive. The line moved and I ordered. The next thing I know it was ready. I was impressed at the communication and the teamwork. We go to this location about once a month and we have had great service and amazing ice cream, every time. The dipped cones are my little guy's favorite, while my other kids like the blizzards. You honestly can go wrong, even the fruit smoothies are delicious! What i am here to review about is the lack of mixing the blizzards all the way. The service was super friendly and i have nothing bad to say about the worker's attitudes because they were all nice but I have just come to a third of my small cotton candy blizzard and can clearly see that it was not mixed all the way. I'm personally not a fan of vanilla ice cream so when I ordered a cotton candy blizzard and see that only 2/3rds of it is cotton candy... I got a lil upset. My daughter & I visited this location for their .85 small blizzards for reward members. Once we pulled up; noticed the nice amount of seating outside their restaurant & how spacious the restaurant is inside. We received great, fast & friendly service by 2 young gentleman. Our number was called within a few minutes but noticed my blizzard was missing & or the regular blizzard was made instead of the speciality. We ordered the Reese's peanut butter cup pie & snickerdoodle, cookie dough blizzards. My Reeses cup blizzard taste like the regular blizzard I did not taste the graham crackers nor did I have whip cream on the top. On Saturday December 27th at 10:30pm, I pulled into this locations drive thru to get Ice Cream. The young male working the drive thru microphone stated that they "ran out of ice cream" in a comedic tone. At first I thought he was joking. So I put my order in, and then he laughed and said im sorry we actually ran out of ALL ICE CREAM. I literally sat there for a few moments before responding, how in the hell did DAIRY QUEEN run out of ice cream? You guys were open for another hour and a half. The feeling I got is that the young kids working the late night shift wanted to start cleaning early, and begin cleaning the machines, so they could clock out right when they closed. Ive worked in the food industry before I know how it works. I then had to return home to my pregnant girlfriend with no Ice Cream. She literally gave me an earful because your staff was too lazy to make ice cream. I usually stay away from McDonalds for late night Ice Cream because they are notorious for pulling the same move that your staff pulled on me. Thank you so much for ruining our night. When I asked an employee for help, she said "we're busy" and walked off to clean the bathroom instead of assisting. This is my neighborhood Dairy Queen. We visit this location often. This was by far one of the best experiences. We order the same thing every time as my son is autistic. Food can and is a trigger. This time they put his ice cream in dairy queen drink cup instead of a sunday cup with a cone. I told the lady that my son wouldn't eat it because of the presentation. I told her my son is autistic and is particular about what he eats. She immediately said, I get it and changed out the cup and made it the way he usually gets it. She also told me her daughter was autistic so she understood. You don't know how thankful I was for her to understand the challenges of raising an autistic child. We visits the same places and they get upset because I have to tell them to take something back as they either changed the product or it's not presented the same way he usually gets it. My beautiful wife didn't suffer any ill effects so that narrowed things down to the cause being the Blizzard machine was either dirty or cleaned improperly. The one thing that irritates me the most and this is about any business is the customer service, why in the world would you hire people who don't care if they work or not and they treat you like they are irritated that they have to serve you. Hadn't had a blizzard in years. The only time we stop by Dairy Queen is when we are descending from oak creek canyon and that's only because it's the closest restaurant. The employees were really nice but the only reason Why I'm giving them 3 stars is because I ordered a royal peanut butter brownie blizzard which should come with a peanut butter core. Well, mine didn't and I didn't even notice until it was too late. I love that they still serve them upside down and they also have a loyalty card. You get a punch for every blizzard and after the fifth you get a free 12 oz. This is perfect for our family because we fill that card up in one visit. read more

Customer service was the overall negative experience at this location. They lost our order number after waiting 40 minutes got our order wrong 2 times & argued with each other in front of us about how they got the order wrong. The burger that was wrong was still only scraped of the the things it shouldn't have had in it instead of remaking the burger fresh like we had asked since they put the onions in the burger twice. read more
