LOVE Dairy Queen Grill & chill so good and everything is so awesome and from the ice cream to the meals always made fresh and wonderful and the staff are always nice and happy sweet and they always get the food out fast and the building is so clean and and sanitary and they always clean the tables chairs and bathrooms after every customer is done and love it so much and I coming here always and when I'm craving for ice cream or yummy delicious burgers and etc and give them lots of tips and donate and they deserve it and they are positive employees and happy and they deserve award and make sure you're kind caring loving and respectful towards them and they work so hard and day & night and I always appreciate that for what they do. Leaving a review to showcase the exceptional service we were given while visiting Harrisonburg. Simone went to next levels to make sure our experience was perfect!! She made a made to order ice cream with warm brownie with peanut butter sauce on top for the things that my wife was craving. Even brought our order to our table! I ordered 2 kids meals. They were out of bottled water and applesauce. The banana that I got in place of the applesauce was too ripe. I usually don't use this location. I won't stop here again. The employees were nice and the food I did get other than the banana was good. read more

They handed me the wrong blizzard in the drive through and I asked the guy if it was the correct one. He said it was. I parked, tried it, it was not even close to what I ordered. I went inside to fix it and they ignored me at the counter for a good minute or two. When a girl finally came up I said please and thank you, being nice about it. Then as I was standing for them to remake it I heard a girl in the back complaining that I had eaten it and just wanted another for free. I literally handed it to the cashier (2 bites gone) and she threw it away to make me another. Like sorry I didn't want an Oreo blizzard with stale Oreos, crazy. I've ordered the same blizzard for years and know for a fact there is no Oreos in it. Then I got home, already mad about that, only to find they had forgotten my ranch and honey mustard. I've been to this Dairy Queen many times but this is the last. The last 2 times I've been here they didn't even have chocolate ice cream. Today, we were there in the middle of the day- only one other couple there- and not only did it take FOREVER to get a Blizzard and 2 ice creams with sprinkles (which SHOULD be as easy as it gets) but when they gave me my Blizzard it wasn't even what I ordered and PAID for. They didn't even ask me if I wanted what they had replaced the Blizzard with! Yet, when I asked for a refund they wouldn't give me one because the girl didn't know how to. She said I would have to wait for the manager, who was in the bathroom but, after waiting for 10 minutes I just left. Ridiculous! read more

I stopped here while on a long drive back to the CLT. The visit to this DQ was a very pleasant one. There were even TVs on to watch the football game, which was a nice touch for this solo traveler. Atmosphere - Clean, modern, casual. Food - Though known mostly for their soft-serve ice-cream and Blizzard milkshakes, I ordered a burger and fries. The single pattie burger I had was decent fast food quality and the fries were crisp but nothing spectacular. Service - Super fast and super friendly (A teenage girl working the counter took the time to explain to an elderly woman about a perceived change in the restaurant. I'm not typically one to write a review for a 'fast food' type place, but this experience blew me away. I was there with some family and we had a child with us (age 5). He wanted a blizzard, and we ordered what we thought he wanted in a 'mini' size. However, he became upset when he realized we had miscommunicated and the order didn't match what he really wanted. I took the blizzard to the front, fully intending on simply purchasing another. However, the cashier allowed me to return the first and order the intended blizzard. Though the staff at the register was not the best to take orders from guests...like when my friend asked four times of a brownie was warmed in the brownie sundae. We have been here twice in the last two months. The first time, the lady was horribly rude and gave us the wrong total before pulling up to the window to collect and pay. We went back again tonight to give it another chance. This time around, again they were rude in the drive thru. Not only were they rude AGAIN, she AGAIN (same lady mind you) told us the wrong total, off by $5. When we confronted her in the drive thru window she told us we could do the math to know that the total she gave us the first time was not right as she swiped our card without hesitation like it's okay to be so incorrect.
