After a 25-minute wait (with only one car with one person in it ahead of us), we were handed two melted Blizzards without any pumpkin pie crust pieces. Gross and missing a key ingredient. I went to the DQ drive through tonight. It was backed up, which I didn't mind waiting. Well, I had waited 30 minutes to finally order, again not a big problem for me since I didn't have anywhere to be. I ordered a Royal New York Cheesecake Blizzard, no strawberry filling, replace it with fudge. I had to repeat it twice, then I ordered a popcorn shrimp basket meal. It took about 10 minutes to get my drink/blizzard, then the cashier told me to pull up to the thank you sign to wait for my popcorn shrimp meal. Once again, really not a big problem, I've worked at one of Americas most historic resorts, as well as multiple different restaurants so I understand getting backed up. As I park and wait for my food, I decided to grab the blizzard and start mixing it when I noticed it had fudge and strawberry filling. Once the guy gave me my food, I nicely notified him I had only asked for fudge filling, no strawberry. He took it back inside, I waited another ten minutes, and he brought a 'new' one back out to me. I started to finally drive off, and while I was going home I tried a spoonful of the blizzard and--They just re-blended the entire thing, strawberry filling and all, filled it with more fudge, this time added whipped cream on top (my guess is to not notice the red tint in the ice cream at first from the strawberry filling). I REALLY dislike the taste of strawberry glaze, preferring fresh strawberries, and I feel like for waiting the time that I did, very patiently and completely nice to them throughout the whole encounter, I should've at least gotten my order right. read more

We ordered two of the new Pumpkin Pie BLIZZARD® Treat and somehow they are sold out already, sure I can accept that, but when they asked what we'd like in place of the items they didnt care to listen as we explained what we wanted Morover we recived the wrong size and mine was pretty much just vanilla icecream. They gave my wife cheese curds instead of fries, we also paid for extra gravy, we recived not a single one. This is the last time we will be returning to this location, as they have failed to deliver on our order Every. Single. Time. Worst Dairy Queen ever. After trying the Chaplin Hill Dairy Queen and consistently being disappointed with the service and food, we decided to try the Suncrest Towne Center Dairy Queen. Now the Suncrest Towne Center Dairy Queen was such an improvement and so amazing we had to write about it. First of all, they had an employee that sang in the back of the store, lending to the overall feeling that the employees were very upbeat and happy. They actually made our blizzards and turned them upside down, that was cool. We also had a minute to talk to the employees, they smiled, were polite, and seemed to like their customers. That means so much. A great restaurant, with good fast food and wonderful employees. read more

I went to this DQ tonight to order a small M&M blizzard. The employee who took my order stated the total as $5.29 at the order board. When I got to the window, I gave the employee my card. Upon looking at the receipt, I noticed a $0.71 charitable donation charge. No one ever asked me if I wanted to donate to any charitable cause. It was added on without my knowledge. Had I not looked at the receipt or my bank account, I would have never known. Beware when going to this DQ, and always ask for a receipt!!! They have someone stand in the drive through to deter customers from coming through at 9pm even though the drive through is supposed to be open until 10. Terrible service. The worst DQ! The wait was literally 5 minutes and when I got my blizzard it was melted! 1/4 of the medium blizzard I ordered was melted; not even slightly. As the drive-thru attendant turned my blizzard upside down, it dripped all over the cup it was in. I told the staff it was melted already, and they offered me napkins instead of rectifying the situation. I have given this DQ too many chances. Such a poorly run establishment. Went to go get ice cream, got there at 9 PM (an hour before the closing time as listed online). Waited in the drive through line for 30 minutes only to be told that they were done taking orders for the night. If you plan on going here, I would suggest showing up at least 2-3 hours before the alleged closing time... hopefully they will not have stopped taking orders for the night already. read more
