I know, it's my own fault. I saw that this location had a 1.8 star rating on Yelp and I still stopped here. I should know better. I was hungry and craving a shake, so I headed over in spite of the bad reviews. LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS PEOPLE. I got a burger and tots and a the smallest shake I have ever seen and I could not believe how expensive it was. I was literally shocked. To top it off, the food was lukewarm and didn't even taste that good. I also find it quite condescending, as I look at the reviews now, that the "business manager" responds to all the negative reviews (which make up the vast majority of their reviews by the way) with the same boilerplate messages. The management here obviously isn't interested in the customer experience or doing anything genuine to try and improve it. It's really a shame. read more

Stopped in tonight a half hour from closing, just looking for some ice cream. Discovered a hive of Gen Z, top tier Gen Z stares, who, in the five minutes my dude and I stood silently by the counter, did not make eye contact even once or say a single word, as if doing so would implode the universe. Respect the determination to not do a single bit of work in the last half hour of their shift, I've never seen a dozen Gen Z-ers work so hard not to work. 0/10 for service, 10/10 for their staunch resolve not to acknowledge our existence in that store. read more

I am so serious. My husband has a birthday coming up and I've been trying to call the restaurant for three days with no answer from any employee. So I finally get a break from my work so I go into order it and now it's for the next day so they tell me sorry you need a two day notice to order a cake and I told Gal I've been calling you guys for a few days to order a cake and she says sorry we need two day notice. Pulling on up to the drive-thru and ordering a tasty kiddie cone of soft serve ice cream to go has remained an activity Grandma and I can do together even during the COVID-19 pandemic when I visit her. The ice cream cones come just plain, my favorite, or dipped in chocolate, too much for me. The cones are bigger and better than some of the soft serve ice cream at other fast food restaurants, plus the Dairy Queen is located not too far from my Grandma's house. So, if feeling in the mood, or we are out driving around town and see the DQ on our way back to the house, we might stop and get two cones, one for each of us. Love the cones in cold and hot weather. I'm not sure what some of these other reviews are seeing, but we went inside for an after dinner treat tonight and found the service fast, friendly, and accurate. The restaurant was clean, comfortable, and well-lit. No insects to be seen! The new heath caramel brownie cup fection was yummy!! A little on the sweet side of course. Also ordered at our table were two blizzards, tipped upside down and perfect, and a dipped cone. All well done and delicious. read more

Unsure what's happening here. They finally got it together with a renovation just to always be shut down. They seemed to be closed every time we show up. Today they were open but drive thru only. They close at 8 now? Closed on Sundays and Mondays. Last time I was at the drive thru, I heard employees questioning each other about my order, one lies and says he put whatever in there. They hand me the stuff. Of course I immediately look, tell kid, hey, it's not in here, kid says, "he said it is." And for whatever reason, this was seemingly hard to reconcile. I didn't know what else to say. It's not in here. Shrug. I had previously asked a manager to reconcile an issue I had and they told me to call corporate. Corporate told me to call manager. Shrug again. Might just be the business. They're building a sonic next door though so hope they get it together. read more

the last few times we've been here our orders have been messed up and thing have been missing.. the teens working inside seem to panic when there is a line and they seem confused when you mention that there are missing items from the order... the food is very sloppy and just looks like they thru it on paper and wrapped it up.. i hope they can get this figured out.. we really do enjoy going to DQ... read more

Outrageous wait times every time I go. And prices certainly don't make the wait worth it

If you ever wondered how bad the flying insects are in the jungles of Borneo , step inside this Dairy Queen. I was afraid I'd have to leave my favorite pair of thongs behind, because they were hopelessly stuck to the sticky floor . My PB parfait was a drippy soup that just added to the floors adhesive value. The drive thru customers were getting a version of their orders quickly and insect free, but the customers inside were being held like hostages in some weird low budget sci-fi movie waiting for their orders . Unless this review sounds good to you, stay away from this DQ !!! read more

I've been here a few times and it's always disappointing. They aren't open 7 days a week and closed Sunday and Monday of all days. Most of the time, the lobby is closed which is ridiculous as well. I went in there tonight to get a cake for a birthday. Asked for writing, but I suppose no one was able to do that. Their tap to pay doesn't work either. Cake is over priced as well, but it's good and a treat. It used to be a lot better 10-15 years ago when they had a little play for the kids and outdoor seating. When it's open I haven't had many issues here. The problem is, it's rarely actually open. My wife and I constantly try to stop by to grab ice cream and are continually disappointed by driving up to find an orange cone in the drive through and the store randomly closed. Literally the worst Dairy Queen we've ever been to. The outside and inside of the restaurant was filthy; the trash was overflowing, the floor was sticky, and flies were swarming INSIDE the restaurant. Our Blizzard and PB Parfait took 20 minutes to be prepared and then came out completely melted. Not surprising they didn't turn the Blizzard upside down, must be why the floor was so sticky. We asked for a refund. Would strongly recommend the health department do an investigation. read more

So stopped in for a quick burger and blizzard Ordered food and about 10 minutes later a staff member came and asked if we wanted the blizzard after the meal and there are 2 of us one eating food one eating ice cream So no just bring the food they bring the blizzard then 15 minutes go by and we noticed the food had been sitting on the counter so go and ask about it and they say "yes that's your order but now we will remake it" so another 10 minutes go by and we go ask how much longer for the food? Living here for a year and a half, we have tried to go here at least once or twice a month to treat our kids. Unfortunately at least 50% of the time the store is closed due to "technical" issues like the network being down. That is the most common excuse. They either need to fix their systems or replace their workers. Because it's unlikely that the network is down that often, and more likely that the service team is lacking. I hope they resolve this issue soon or they will likely have to close down due to competition. read more

The ice cream is great too bad the chocolate ice cream went away.. the hours are too short they need to stay open until 10 on Fri and Saturday..especially during the summer. Went to DQ on a Friday night to get ice cream. For starters, there were about 10 people working and I stood there for 5 minutes waiting on someone to take my order. I had to ask someone to take my order. I ordered 2 blizzards and a vanilla milk shake. I witnessed a young man working in the ice cream area get ice cream in his hair (so much that it was dripping in front of him onto whatever he was preparing). They just laughed and took the order to the drive thru window and handed it to a customer. My turtle pecan blizzard did not taste right (it had bitter stuff in it) and the milk shake was so liquid that it was like water. There was also an old couple that had asked for their blizzard several times before finally getting it. Very disappointed. read more

I try and keep local estaurants in mind when eating out. I understand a lot of things have changed since covid, lack of supplies and of help. A friend and I have given Dairy Queen many opportunities to redeem themselves. Their service is very bad, as well as their food, we ordered a Blizzard for the third time and it was awful. We where very polite in pointing out the last two had been made with the wrong ingredients, the young girl apologized and said this one would be correct, well it was more of a milk shake, all watery no sign of the ingredients at all. When we complained she said the chocolate used made the ice cream melt more than usual, didn't even try to remake it. As we all know prices are up, nothing is cheap. Please Owner's and Manager's take pride in your business and jobs. Train properly, provide good service,and good food. As a consumer I have lots to choose from, I want to stay local but you are not giving us any hope! No matter what it's a job and a service, we deserve better! read more

Drove through for something quick there was no line and there were no cars outside WHICH SHOULD HAVE BEEN MY WARNING unfortunately I didn't listen to my gut instinct. You know how when you save food in the fridge for later then reheat them? That's exactly how my food tasted like. Upon getting home which was no more than a 6min drive my food ice cold LOL! Like they didn't even try. The fries were DEFINITELY old reheated and so dry the chicken was old and dry They had that leftover reheat taste. I know it's fast food but COME ON MAN LOL the appropriate analogy for this would be wrapping a frozen dog turd in chocolate wrapping. I just laugh about it because of how little they cared to try. I bought two chicken strip baskets for just under twenty dollars. The chicken was good but widely different sizes. The "toast" never saw a toaster and was smeared with oil and the fries were ice cold. We were the only customers in the drive through and the parking lot was empty. Ordered the grilled chicken meal with a pepsi and my husband ordered the chicken tender meal with a pepsi. We waited for quite some time for the order which was fine because I figured the food would at least be fresh. When we received the food my husbands was barely warm and he received a diet pepsi. My grilled chicken sandwich had been microwaved so long that the chicken was like rubber and the bun was a slimy mess. I also received a diet pepsi with no syrup. We have given them multiple chances and unfortunately the food is always a huge disappointment. I left a message for the manager but never received a call back.
