New Garlic Parmesan Chicken Strip Basket

Where do I start? We walked in, 3 of the 4 of us so excited to get the new garlic parmesan chicken basket. I ordered a mint brownie blizzard and large fry and my friends all ordered the chicken basket and a drink. After receiving the cups, they went to the soda fountain where the ice has changed to awful chunks and the sodas came out explosively. When we received the chicken baskets, two were the complete wrong thing and it was a struggle to try to get the right ones. But, the food was good!

Burgers and fries and ice cream but mostly I come for the blizzard as a treat. Service in the drive thru is quick enough.

One of the best DQs I've had. Gotta try it out, the original grill and chill. Friendly staff and good food.

What's to say, ice cream and good fast food. Always busy. Sometimes feels like the staff has no time to clean up, can be dirty.

We stopped into Sweet Ride Ice Cream in Reading as the final stop on a date night, and honestly…read more.. it was the perfect way to end the evening. The vibe immediately pulls you in, classic 1950s ice cream parlor energy with a fun, nostalgic feel. One of the employees was even dressed in a white shirt and black bow tie, which totally fit the theme and added to the experience. They have a huge variety of flavors and options, so there's something for everyone. We came specifically for their Valentine's Day ice cream flight, and it did not disappoint. The flight included: * Cupid's Milk & Cookies * Raspberry Cheesecake * Red Velvet * Chocolate Covered Strawberry Every flavor was excellent, but raspberry cheesecake was the standout favorite rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced. We also grabbed a kiddie size of white chocolate cranberry cheesecake, which was absolutely delicious and worth ordering on its own. Because it was freezing out (a rare win), we took advantage of that and grabbed two kiddie sizes to go for my mom, knowing they wouldn't melt on the way home. They also had ice cream pies stocked in the freezer, plus homemade waffle cones and waffle bowls, which smelled incredible. The only downside and this has nothing to do with Sweet Ride themselves was parking. With all the snow piled everywhere, we missed a sign indicating a bus stop zone right in front of the shop and ended up with a $50 parking ticket from the borough. Lesson learned: parking in the area can be tricky, so just be extra mindful of signage, especially in winter. That aside, this was a five-star experience across the board. Fantastic ice cream, fun atmosphere, and a great overall experience. We'll absolutely be back just with better parking awareness next time. Highly recommend if you're anywhere near Reading

Im not kidding there was about 40 flavors. They only charge 6.75 for a flight! We decided to get a flight with Raspberry Cheesecake, Hot Cocoa, Chocolate Marshmallow and Fluffernutter! The taste was incredible! Now what separates this place from the rest? Tons of seating, quick speed of service, the decor in here is incredible, neon signs, and tons of other merch to check out. They sell ice cream and Milkshakes for a year as gifts for others? How cool!

If you were driving by, you'd think it was a creepy, old abandoned building. Even the inside is dark, with the lights turned very low. Maybe it's to set a mood. Everything seems pretty laid back here, like time slows down. It took me damn near 40 years, but I finally had my first Cold Stone experience. Prior to this I had only heard the legends from places like Aziz Ansari's classic standup bit. This is how I learned of their unique naming scheme for their sizes. Not wanting to look like a little poopy pants baby, I skipped right past Like It and went right to Love It. I'm glad I didn't jump all the way to Gotta Have It® (yes, each size has a registered trademark), as it simply would have been entirely too much ice cream - roughly three large scoops. Had a major a-ha moment when I got a glimpse of them using the stone. I was like, "OH! Like the name!" Couldn't really see what was going on from where I was standing, but essentially you pick a flavor of ice cream, then any number of "mix-ins" (surprisingly not trademarked) are folded into the ice cream on top of the stone, which in this case is a slab of granite kept at a frigid 16°F. Is it one big gimmick? Probably. I don't think it's that much of a step up from getting ice cream normally and then adding on whatever toppings. I guess I could see the value of Cold Stone's method when eating from a cone. This way you wouldn't have loose toppings falling all over the place since they'd be more incorporated in the ice cream. But as my preferred ice cream delivery system is the bowl, I'm happy going elsewhere for my fix to get more bang for my buck.

"One white duck on your wall So fly away Peter…read moreFly away Paul Power of ten equals nothing at all" (Jethro Tull) There is a small but persistent misconception that Duck Donuts are fried in duck fat! Yes, their vanilla cake-based donuts are fried in hot oil and NOT duck fat. But what makes them unique is that their twenty-eight varieties are made to order right in front of your eyes. You see, the donuts are made by a cool automated process that drops plain donuts into a bin. Then the fun starts when the plain donuts are transformed in front of you with various toppings and drizzles. Bottom line? Your donuts are served hot and fresh for you. Founded in 2006 in Duck, North Carolina, the chain has expanded rapidly from its original Outer Banks location and now operates over 150 locally owned shops across 26 states, Puerto Rico, Canada, Egypt, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia. The donuts are reasonably priced, so we paid just $2.65 each for a Blueberry Streusel and Cinnamon Bun donut. They were amazing. We both had a half of each donut last night, and we agreed the Blueberry was the clear winner. Bottom line? If your donut quacks like a duck.....you're in luck!

I like the open market floor plan with plenty of seating to eat what you purchase regardless of the vendors. We experienced friendly, quick service at all the places we ate at. We all chose Becca's Coffee & Donuts. We each tried a different specialty drink and none of us were disappointed. They were delicious. And my apple fritter was super fresh and oh-so yummy! My hubby & I both chose pretzel-dough wraps because we had never had them before. I had the eggs, bacon, cheese & hashbrowns and my hubby had the eggs, bacon & sausage. Both were served warm. Comfort brunch: They were delicious and hearty. Totally worth it! The others in our party went for a breakfast burrito and an omelette with toast! Another winner! On the way out, we grabbed some eggnog in a bottle ($2 up charge for the bottle deposit - if you return it, you get the $2 back). Sooooo good! We all left very satisfied -- All the more reason to visit again when in the area! I'm already thinking about what I want to try. *Note: open on Thursday, Friday & Saturday only.
