We came New years Eve and it looked closed but it wasn't. There weren't that many people dining in. The cashier was super patient. I got the three of the $7 combo meals which includes a cheeseburger, refillable drink, fries and a sundae. I thought that was a very good deal especially when I have 3 teenagers! My husband got the Honey BBQ chicken wings meal with toast and fries. I thought it was a bit pricey for 4 wings. The sauce was good but a but overwhelming. I wouldn't get that again. The prices for dessert have certainly gone up. The cheapest item on the menu would be the Dilly Bar which was 1.99. Their freezes are always good. read more

A mini butterfinger blizzard is $5.57 (which includes tax). It was delicious but about $2 too expensive. A chicken strip basket was $10.18 (which includes tax) and the four chicken strips were a bit small. They were excellently fried and tasted delicious. But a bit small and $10 is a lot for the size. The fries at Dairy Queen have always been great. The basket came with a nice portion and tasted great. Almost $16 for a chicken strip basket and mini blizzard is too expensive. First, we order the $7 Original cheeseburger meals with Hot fudge sundays with whip cream, we ordered onion rings not fries with fry sauce. We got fries and no fry sauce. Then, he gave us only one onion ring order, I asked again for the second onion rings and again for the fry sauce. Then, he had rung it up as $6.00 meals (they don't have $6 meals) the have $7.00 meals (well at least I got a discount I guess). Always check your order before you leave that window. They don't want to do there jobs correctly. This is so annoying, last time I went there and had the same problem. People working these kind of jobs need to open their ears and do there jobs!! Went in today at around 12:30pm. There was a paper sign on the door written in sharpie that said "no paper receipts". The cashier was a bit awkward. The same girl from that took our order came out with our food fairly quickly. However, I did not receive my dipping sauce, fries or drink I went to the counter to correct it but didn't have a paper receipt to show (because it wasn't available). Waited until 26 minutes had passed and went to the front. Told them how long I'd been waiting, handed the man my receipt and said I needed a refund because I couldn't wait any longer. She did an amazing job on the blizzard and made sure to do the flip we live down in Red Bluff so we made the trip here since they're no close Dairy Queen's but it's decently clean, good lighting and decently fast service for you much stuff they had going on. I came here with my girls long wait (20mins). Which we don't mind being patient. But there was no one ahead of us. There were 7 employees that I could see and a manger barking orders and pulling employees to the side. It looked like she was reprimanding them. I think the manager or shift leader, whatever she is... is the reason for the horrible service. Ice cream was decent. But their management needs help or better training. My Daughter went online for my birthday and ordered me a $40 gift card, first off they don't let you use them for curbside pickup.. I have a bad knee hard to get in & out of my vehicle. Second I called to ask if I can use it in the drive thru and the kid gave the phone to the manager who had no clue how to work the gift card & said they would call back after they talked to another manager, hours later they called back saying they didn't know how to use it either. Driving through the area on the way home and we wanted ice cream so we stopped here. In the meantime, we figured we should eat something before dessert and, in the interest of making good time, decided just to get burgers here too. The burgers and fries were ok, nothing special but nothing terrible. Dipped cone: my wife enjoyed it but I feel like you can't really mess up soft serve. Milkshake: my daughter liked it, she wanted whipped cream but they were out. How does DQ run out of whipped cream? My peanut buster parfait: it was good. They were out of whole peanuts so they used the chopped nuts which doesn't bother me but they put about 3 big old cups of chopped peanuts on top (which was a bit too much) and then put the cover on. So you may ask, how can you order a peanut buster parfait and complain about too many peanuts? Well, when I took the top off to eat it, most of those chopped peanuts just fell out all over me. Really just made a mess. Also the people working there seemed to not really care about anything more than just kickin it with each other. Their attitudes and just watching them talk instead of work really just said it all. On top of all of that, the food and the dessert took FOREVER for us to get. Decided to stop and get a treat, took about 15 minutes to finally get up to the order box. Ordered 4 shakes 2 large, 1 medium, 1 small. 3 of which were Cake Shakes...... After ordering, it took Literally 30 minutes to get to the window THEN another 7-8 minutes for them to even acknowledge our presence. As we waited we watched as they worked our order (mind you still No ,"Hey there, sorry for the wait." Or "Hi there welcome to DQ" nothing.) No Masks while preparing our order, No gloves while preparing our order and Definitely weren't any gloves or washing of Bare hands after handling our money and going back to finish our order they STILL hadn't even gotten done. Now idk about you but I thought cake shakes....HAD CAKE IN THEM????!!! SO disappointed will never be going to this Dairy Queen EVER again. I'm no Karen but I can tell you I WANTED TO BE ONE. I guess my 4 year old son made her upset by saying ,"why are you taking so long?" Because our change was shoved at us and the window shut in our face. I would definitely recommend going to any other DQ then this one. Just saying. I ordered the flamethrower triple burger combo which was $14.36 out the door. It included fries and a drink. When I opened the bag after arriving home, the burger was tiny and missing a patty (so it was a double) and it looked like it had been thrown together by a 3 year old. The burger was complete garbage. It tasted like it came of a griddle that had never been cleaned! For the price I paid, I would also expect more than 10 french fries!
