Shout out to Kevin the decorator! :) My MIL ordered an original DQ Blizzard round cake for a family party. She asked Kevin (employee and decorator extraordinaire) if he could draw a bear and a monkey on it. It was a first for Kevin but he did a great job with this unusual ask. Everyone loved it and thought it was so cute. He was so helpful and really cared about his work. Thank you, Kevin! The cake itself was wonderful, but I would rather have a layer of cake instead of two layers of soft serve. The soft serve is good; I would just like some cake to soak up the melty part (I'm a slow eater so it always melts) and de-sweet the whole thing a bit. That middle crunchy layer is so good! I wish there were more of it. This just may replace our standard Baskin-Robbins ice cream cake for family celebrations! read more

Great Service but Food Was Disappointing The customer service here was really great and the staff was friendly, but unfortunately the food didn't meet my expectations. I ordered a family meal and the spaghetti was pretty dry. I also wish they had more chicken options available, like spicy. The mango pineapple drink had a weird taste to it as well. Overall, the service was the best part of the experience, but I'd probably rather drive out to Sacramento next time instead of coming back to this location. read more

Came in on Saturday night around 9pm to get some dessert. It was pretty empty and they were already cleaning and mopping the dining area. Our order was taken pretty quickly. However a little slow to come out. I ordered a mini Reese's cup blizzard it was good but I love Reese's my son got an ultimate cookie blizzard and he was happy with that. My husband got the nutter butter shake it was ok. He was happy with it. Around $24.00 for 3 desserts a little expensive but I guess that is to be expected these days. Drive from south Stockton to Dairy Cream and the location here ice cream machine was not working on a 80 degree weather. . This is super bad for business. On a hot weather ice cream are the number #1 saleling item, I would assume. We will try this location next time again, when we are in the area, but we will not plan to just go there and be disappointed. read more

Stockton, you are SLEEPING on this DQ. We had some time to kill while my dog was across at the vet, so my brother and I stopped in to grab some food. They still use an old-school register, it was actually really fascinating LOL. Anyway, the employees are always so nice and bring your food to you. The chicken sandwich here is better than what actual restaurants have served. The fries also have that crispy salty (is it a batter maybe?) flavor, others don't have. They're menu is pretty large, reminiscent of a Sonic, but way up on the quality. I plan on trying a corndog next time, as well. Almost forgot to mention their Blizzards!!! So freaking good. Today was my first time ever at Dairy Queen & i loveeddd it!!! I've always passed by here but never went inside. Just didnt really know what to expect since its pretty small and i didnt hear much about their ads or anything from tv. I knew it was something similar to a sonic etc. But i heard about it through my socials & im so glad I did because with fall and all the yummy desserts its pretty hard to beat. Although, i have to say I didn't try any desserts I was tempted. I went here with my boyfriend & we both got these amazing chicken sanwhiches, i think they were artisian. They came on chiabatta bread which is the best bread ever. And the sandwich itself was made perfectly. It was something that honestly, i would expect at a really nice sit down restuarant. And the fries were amazing. The wait was a little long but i cant blame them lol. This place is that good. And there customers are respectful too. This is an amazing place to go out to eat. Super reasonable, friendly employees, and great atmosphere. Will definitely be back for the desserts. read more

It's too bad that we only have one DQ in Stockton. But!.. it's definitely worth driving from the south side to the north side for a blizzard(5/5). We don't usually order their food, but my husband wanted something to snack on so he ordered the chicken tender meal(3.5/5). I love that they expanded their seating area, but.. they gotta do something about their AC in the summer. Cracking the doors open on a hot, dry day does not help at all. I love Dairy Queen period. There are not too many around me so whenever I see one, of course, I have to stop in. This location was a bit dingy. The wallpaper decor was VERY old, but the place was very clean and spacious which I appreciate. There is a private lot and it is on the very corner of the plaza next to some Korean Martial Arts place. You can see it driving on the street so it is not hard to find. The employees there are average. Nothing spectacular about the service but they get the job done and serve your ice cream. On one occasion, I ordered a chocolate dipped waffle cone but the waffle cone was stale. The next day I came back and got just a regular ice cream cone. Seriously, nothing like Dairy Queen's ice cream. I give that five stars. read more

Can't go wrong with a plain vanilla ice cream cone or a strawberry sunday. If you want something savory, do consider the shrimp basket. Comes with fries and a drink, I believe. Tastes yummy, and nice portion for its price. The assortment of sundaes, frozen hot chocolates, artic rushes and moolates are also worth a try. The artic rush beverages are so nostalgic because they remind me of otter pops. . . in an icy drink form! I love sneaking sips off my sister's, especially after a few bites of shrimp and fries. Lately I've been very disappointed with the blizzards sold at this location, which is unfortunate since it's a major compnent of the DQ chain. I'll start this review off with the basics. The customer service is decent. The family (I assume it's a family) that runs it is very nice. Although the younger workers can be a bit oblivious at times. The hot food is typical fast food junk and a bit overpriced. The desserts are great. I have to give this place 2 stars and I'll tell you the story behind it. So I go into dairy queen and as I'm about to place my order I notice a medium sized roach boldly scuttle from under the cash register and sit right in the middle of the counter. Somewhat shocked, I look back up at the cashier, then back down at the arrogant roach, then back up at the cashier... when he finally decides to acknowledge the situation, he actually printed a blank receipt, squashes the roach, SLIDES it across the counter until it's outta sight, and restarts the conversation with "what would you like to order".
