Came here for a banana split and this is what I was served. When I asked what happened to the whipped cream which was runny bubbly and gross the response was they were running out. DQ pioneered soft serve ice cream. Nobody even comes close, not even Foster Freeze and Mc Donald's.

Although the ice cream is as good as ever, there are a few things that were not good. The prices went up a lot and they would only accept cash which I only had $12. I couldn't get what I really wanted because I was with my daughter and she didn't have any cash so we had to get something small. The girls working were not very friendly and they put our orders down on the counter and there was ice cream all over the outside of the cups. Hmmm... not sure we'll be back. read more

Obviously, a DQ Blizzard is a DQ Blizzard. This review is a shot out to the two ladies holding the fort on a busy summer night with a line to the door. The cashier kept smiling and saying thank you. Kept prepping orders. The other young lady kept firing out ice cream. I expected a wait when I saw that line, but only sat down for two minutes before my 4 blizzards and a frappe were ready. Wow I feel horrible for the staff working at this location, went in to grab a blizzard and couldn't help but ask the staff if they have AC in the place; the place was extremely hot! You'd think it would be cold in an ice cream shop but not here! The associates were trying their best given the circumstances, short staffed and horrible working conditions. I feel the owner needs to look into the AC unit or try working in the same condition they're putting their staff through. We waited almost 30 minutes for our treats, I understand with COVID staff may be hard to come by, but they're going to loose additional team members if they're not taken care of. The website does not state that this .location only has a limited menu. For example i asked about the fish and chips and was told they dint make it there. I also asked about the hot dog combo if it came with fries.and was told it came with chips and they only had sour cream and onion chips available. As far as the ice cream is concerned we wanted the advertised ice cream treat for the month of August and were not told they didn't have it. Instead substituted it with a similar treat that contained the main ingredient in the one we wanted. My granddaughter was disappointed. That August treat was the only reason we went to D ouairy Queen. Be upfront about everything on website. You could have saved us the trip and disappointment becuz we would not have gone at all if we only knew. Plus the A/C was not working well. My daughter and I thought a DQ Blizzard would be the perfect treat after dinner on a warm summer evening. Checked this location's website which indicated open on Saturday until 9pm. With over an hour before closing time, we drove over. At 7:50pm we pulled up in front of the store, just in time to see staff locking the door. They deserve ZERO stars but I'm forced to leave one. I am a weekly customer, so I know what to expect & never suffered with my order as I did tonight! Ordered a medium "Oreo" blizzard and I got vanilla soft serve with some "brown powder"(?) folded in. NO SIGNS OF OREO COOKIE ANYWHERE, see pictures below. Calmly, quietly & kindly asked cashier if she could please sprinkle a little more Oreo crumbs on the top to make the order right & she refused!! Said I would have to "pay" for "extra candy topping" & I said I don't want extra candy topping, I just want the Oreo cookie I ordered! I showed her the cup to display the nearly-completely-vanilla product, as it was evident that there was a miniscule sprinkle of Oreo(?) Powder(?) within -- not even a large crumb, or cookie piece anywhere! DEFINITELY NOT AS PICTURED, FALSE ADVERTISING at its finest! Talk about ripping off your customers, over SUCH a SIMPLE REQUEST!? All she had to do was take the tiny red spoon & add a couple of cookie pieces to the cookie-advertised item, & she refused!! Clearly, they used whatever powder was left in the bottom of the "Oreo" bin, but not a single crumb of cookie piece anywhere! She said "we give two scoops & that's it", "if you want more you have to pay for a third topping!" Un-effing believable, in 2017(!!!). I left and sat in my car, still incredulous at what happened & her smart ass reply! Whatever happened to customer service?? I returned inside to ask again to please make my blizzard "right" by sprinkling an Oreo crumble on top, and she haughtily announced to the customers in line, "that lady is trying to get free candy toppings"....WHAT?? Walked in to the store where there were about 5 people who had just gotten their ice cream. The 3 girls behind the cash register advised me they were closed. When I mentioned I thought they closed at 8:30PM they told me the hours online where incorrect. They have new hours, they close at 8PM. As I was walking out I saw my phone to see the time was 7:51PM. I went back and told one of the girls who responded with "oh". She walked towards register. I told her never mind. They obviously were trying to leave and had no interest of being there. 2 other people walked in behind me, I believe they were turned away too. read more

I waited in line for about 10 minutes, just to have an employee tell me there not selling ice cream. Very upsetting, especially when they have you waiting for a whole 10 minutes and not tell you they're not selling ice cream. Considering my family and I came and hour before closing. Unfortunately the blizzards we got were not to standard. They were runny and not thick and creamy. I wanted to ask for another but there was a big line going out the door and the ladies working were already behind as it was. To me it wasn't worth making the scene. I hate to give a poor review for a family owned business. But, this store is so slow. Sweet counter people. My husband's large Drumstick Blizzard was solid cookie until the last inch and a half which was solid ice cream - not blended well at all. I paid 50¢ for a squirt of runny whipped cream for my sundae. Don't all sundaes COME with whipped cream? We were there at a slow time. I cannot imagine what a crowd would look like. Maybe more employees would help. The staff that was there was working hard. I watched the progress of the store as the owner built it. I Love Dairy Queen. I generally reward myself on Sundays with a Blizzard. (Butterfinger, thank you very much!) I decided to try a location new to me and sadly, I don't think I will be returning. When I walked in the door there were three young women working the counter. Two were busy doing the work and the third was just standing there stroking her hair with a glazed look on her face. When it got to be my turn in line I ordered and then requested (very privately) that the girl who was playing with her hair not make it. My request was granted and even as the other girl was making it I was told by the hair stroker as she continued to stare at me and stroke her hair that they could always wash their hands. Not necessary information for me. I am very much aware of hand washing practices as I am a registered nurse. I refused to engage although there was plenty to be said including , "How about tying your hair back in a food establishment", however, I restrained myself. As I was walking out the door, the girl who I asked not to make my treat yelled, "there is a nicer way to ask for something!" Her name is Lexie and apparently she is in fact the manager so no recourse other than to leave a review and not go back. Sadly, they are my closest DQ. read more

God bless the saints and angels that are the Dairy Queen Bermuda Dunes crew. Not only are they thoroughly and passionately committed to keeping customers safe during a time of strife and turmoil, their ice cream, as well as other menu items, are exquisite. The flavors are a delight to the senses, and the flavors dance the most beautiful dances ever known on your own very tongue. Additionally, they helped my pregnant wife deliver our firstborn in their own very store! He is now a healthy and happy baby. We even named him Blizzard, in honor of the Dairy Queen crew. Furthermore, they conduct cancer research in the store as well. They offer one of the most promising treatments the scientific community has ever seen, and is pending FDA approval. They are touted as favorites for a Nobel Prize. I literally do not think you could find a better collection of people and food. read more

I've seen enough small businesses to know when the inmates are running the show. This place is the perfect example of an absentee owner. There are no consequences to bad customer service and no one to oversee the lousy and indifferent attitude at this location.
