Product is consistent to DQ's but the service here is terrible. Lots of kids working yet no one really doing a lot. Orders backed up, giving out wrong orders. The guy who took our order left soon after, the guy left doing it all was nice. About 2 girls plus another guy in back not helping. read more

Our kids LOVE to get dairy treats here and we enjoy bringing them in when they get good grades for a treat. Excellent ice cream cakes are ready to go at any time, which are always yummy. Sometimes the service is on the slow side, the tables need cleaning, and also one of my restaurant pet peeves - there is no public restroom. All in all we will continue to stop in for frozen treats but we don't eat in as it is not the cleanest store. read more

My blizzard was amazing, the girls working were so sweet, and my order came out almost immediately after paying. The reason for the 1-star review is because of the temperature. We came in the store at around 9:30pm, and it felt like at least 80° inside the store. The poor girls working explained that the building has never had A/C. The portable cooler they had in the lobby was basically useless, so I can't imagine the temperature behind the counter. The employees were clearly tired and sweaty. That's not a way to treat employees. Not to mention the food safety concerns. read more

ITS BEEN 2YEARS ... or feels like it since the Orange Julius machine has been broken! We stop in every time we are in the area. Tonight the 2 workers were arguing on how to do the swirl cone right in front of 7 customers. We waited and watched until it was our turn. The Julius cups are out on display? WHY?? Remove them or put a sign out or put a sign on the door so we don't waste our time!! Frustrating!! Invest in your business! You are the only Dairy Queen for miles!! We can bring you profit! Get the machines fixed, open a bathroom up, make employees wear gloves when handling food to ice cream! read more

I received a DQ gift card; used it once successfully and when I tried to use it again it the help said their gift card machine (?) wasn't working so I had to pay cash. Went in 2 weeks later and tried to use card...same excuse, gift card machine wasn't working. I contacted DQ Headquarters and after much discussion...a waste of my time...Headquarters said the gift card was probably defective and they would send me a new one. Weeks later I received it and went to DQ yesterday and tried to use it...it was declined!!! I would never recommend to anyone to purchase a DQ gift card. I've contacted DQ Headquarters and asked that they refund the balance on the card. I doubt they will so now I'm stuck with a card I cannot use. The DQ on Washington used to be great but it has gone down hill! read more

I come from Washington state where we have many Dairy Queen's everywhere. I was disappointed to find them scarce in Palm desert vicinity. I wish they would grow them here! I can't go very long without my blizzard! The one on Washington could be better if they would fix the Orange Julius machine. But, they do make a wonderful, consistent and friendly Blizzard! If you haven't tried one you should! Snickers is my favorite. I've read some negative reviews on their help but I have never experienced that. Only good stuff! I do wish they'd expand with more in this area! The only negative I find is they close too early for me! My blizzard cravings come later in the evening. Lol read more

Wow, this place never seizes to amaze me. The owner of this franchised Dairy Queen should be embarrassed (and yes I know who you are). After years and years of the same complaints and bad service you continue to do nothing about it. You should be present to actually make some changes around here and not leave it to teens who are too incompetent to run your business. It shouldn't be too hard to find some good reliable people with common sense. Let's not forget about the knockoff vanilla mix that's used for the ice cream and the non compatible computer system that doesn't let you use rewards or earn points. At one point we remember seeing discounts for good yelp reviews lol sheesh! This is the only Dairy Queen in our valley not owned by the Chandi Group, and it shows. read more

Came in to have a treat with my son . His hands got sticky and he asked to wash his hands so I asked them to use the restroom to wash his hands. Girl behind the counter says they don't have one . I said really I'm almost positive he's washed his hands here before . She says no so I say ok and go back to get some paper towels to ask if she could put water on them. As I'm walking back I can hear her and her boss talking about be and laughing. I'd like to know what was so funny about asking for a restroom and how you think it's ok to make fun of paying customers ?!? So rude and disrespectful! Typically this Dairy Queen is awesome! However, my heart goes out to those poor girls working there. The air conditioner in the store was broken and they didn't close the shop?! no one deserves working in conditions over 110 degrees! It was cooler outside than it was in the store. This place closes at 7:30pm now, so make sure you show up the latest at 7:15pm because doors close slightly before 7:30pm. Tonight there was so many cars pulling up. This is awfully early to close an ice cream business in this hot weather and summer approaching next month. I come here all the time and the staff is not personable.
