We had a very interesting experience at this Dary Queen. First off, the food/ice cream was tasty and everyone was happy with their order. However, the server took our order, started preparing it, then just suddenly ended her shift and dipped out. My son literally watched her get in the car and leave with our order half done. Assuming someone else would pick it up, we waited until another family came up, ordered, and got their food. When we asked, no one knew anything about our order and she never gave us a receipt, but LUCKILY it was the last order placed on the window she was using so we just asked them to pull up that order to check it. A big location with lots of parking and seating. We did the drive thru and it was pretty quick. The staff are really friendly. We ordered a couple of dipped cones and they were made quick and tasted delicious. 6/24/20 There are times one can do the drive thru and there are times one can walk up and order your food. This is the ladder The wait in the drive thru was not worth our time so walked over to the restaurant and placed an order. The slush machine was down the night I went by, so they attempted to blend ice with grape flavor to create a make shift Misty Slush. It was totally disgusting and I don't recommend. There was no sugar or flavor, which was odd. The drive thru was fast and I commend the employees for trying. Update: after reading other reviews, I'm realizing that the replacing ranch with hot gravy isn't a one-off thing. They apparently do this all the time. Nasty. This place is a hot mess. Probably my worst drive thru experience ever. Got to the window and they told me that they needed to remake my milkshake because a fly got in the last one. Cool. I got my shake and they told me to pull around and wait for them to bring my food out. Ok. Except for that the driveway isn't big enough and they were to behind on bringing peoples orders out which caused a huge traffic jam and no one could get out of the drive thru. I wait 20min and finally my food comes out. I drive off. I open my 4 piece tender meal and it it turns out they gave me plain instead of honey bbq. Whatever, at this point I'm just hungry. I guess it's worth dogpiling on about the prices because first and foremost they will in some form or other catch your attention here especially if you've come for something dessert-ish. For full disclosure, I do have a DQ that is somewhat close to home but I've never been there so I have no idea as to how much more this location overcharges versus a non-beach/tourist area location. One thing worth noting is that coupons are available in all of the tourist coupon books that you can find seemingly everywhere and at home I know that I see DQ regularly issuing a load of coupons in the newspaper so if you can find them, some fiscal relief is out there. We all did the Blizzard thing and while the last time I had a Blizzard was in the 20th century, it was more or less the way I remember it including the cup getting turned over by the employee who made it to show you how thick it was. While they do indeed offer a full menu of wraps, salads, burgers and dogs we weren't there for any of that so I can't speak as to how that stuff works or does not work. Look, it's quite simple. Best DQ, hands down. We stopped in around 3 p.m. A slight bit of a wait in the drive through but no biggie. We ordered the fish sandwich combo for 3 and a blizzard. Wow! At night this place is packed - I think we waited in the drive-thru line for a good 25 minutes. I ordered a large mint Oreo blizzard which came to an outrageous $7. If you want a burger from here, they don't carry them. They don't have Sprite either, and that was the only things that I wanted from there. I ended up getting chicken strips which were pretty good, but the toast was drenched in butter. The drive-thru is pretty unorganized. There is a window where you pay, which is not marked and no one was there to help us. After you pay, you drive up and wait in a line and they bring the food out to you, which took a long time. read more

My husband literally waited outside the Dairy Queen as he watched 10 other cars drive through and get their food, just waiting for his meal. He then proceeded to ask the women where the food was and why it was taking so long, to be rudely responded to with "you'll get your food after my 30 other orders" (keep in mind the ordered AFTER him).
