WOW WOW WOW! Loved EVERYTHING! Ribs were fall of the bone…read moretender. Requested sauce on the side and the ribs were delicious even without it! The chicken is absolutely amazing and beyond expectations! There seems to be no breading and the chicken skin is very crunchy and delicious (like chincharrones). Service was excellent and timing of cooking was clearly communicated ahead of time. Worth the wait! And by the photos, it clearly is a fun vibe to look at the decorations! Will definitely share with friends and family and return again soon!

This is located in a neighborhood with a small parking lot or free parking in the neighborhood. There is a small patio and a few tables and chairs on the inside. I would plan on taking your food to go. The vibes are classic and there are a bunch of fun pictures from Minnesota history! My boys enjoyed looking at those! The service here was extremely friendly and laid back. Kind of like having family cook your meal! That's a hard vibe to find these days! The food: We got the rib and chicken dinner. The chicken was fried golden(this is pressure cooked in oil) made for a nice flavor. I wouldn't say it knocked my socks off but definitely solid pieces of chicken. I am here to rave about the ribs!! Oh my gosh!!! The bones just fell out! The meat was so tender and the BBQ had the perfect about of sweetness!! I will for sure be back for the ribs!!! The mashed potatoes were ok. Next time I would get the fries. We also had the chicken wings plain. Again, nothing over the top special. Did I mention how good those ribs were!? Haha we ended with some mini donuts which were your standard mini donut but were delicious! This place is definitely worth a try!!

First off, we can thank Tony Cu for this recommendation! My wife and I thought we would try a new…read morefish fry, and the 328 Grill was the spot. This place is located in the American Legion in St. Paul Park. We were greeted when we walked in, and were asked if we were doing the fish fry, or standard dining. We said we were there for the fish fry and they directed us toward the line snaking through the interior. We followed the line and were surprised the line went out the back door! We decided to wait since we were already there. The line moved relatively fast, and everyone in line was friendly and we all chatted a bit. We got to the front to pay and were directed toward a table. The seating is set up where you will sit with other people at your table. It was fun chatting with the people at our table! There is a second line to go through the buffet style setup. That moved relatively fast as well with a few pauses as they supplied more fried fish. One tip, if you want only baked fish, you can go to the front of the line due to most people waiting for the fried fish. Going through the line you have the choice of fried or baked fish, mac 'n cheese, scalloped potatoes, green beans, coleslaw, and three pudding options. The fried fish was a definite hit! Great lighter batter and big flakey fish pieces. The fish itself was cooked perfectly and extremely flavorful. All of the sides were a nice touch as well, which are AYCE as well! Personally, we agreed the fried was better than the baked. Overall, it was well worth the wait in the two separate lines, and the staff and customers were all very friendly! Definitely a top spot to visit!

I would literally shut down for a weekend and higher better servers or just train everyone so much more... It took a straight hour I mean a full hour to get a fried chicken sandwich and a burger with some cheese curds-that is crazy guys. Our server just seemed really uncomfortable and out of sorts. It felt super awkward. The old place was so much better!! I understand wanting a bigger location and I was excited because I'm in Hastings a lot and yes, you did need more space but we literally compromised service for space and that's not sustainable in a restaurant. I really hope this gets fixed because this place was a gem! My husband and I loved it. We would go all the time and get burgers and fried chicken sandwiches for like the last three years. I was excited over being in a bigger location, but yeah, the service was so awful and the food took so incredibly long that it just put a huge cloud over the whole experience. Also my loaded fries--the cheese wasn't even melted. Like, how could you even send that over to the table? I hope you guys do a lot more training and get people up to speed. There's no way I could come back after what I just experienced maybe in a few more months when people are more trained that was super frustrating. I also feel sorry for all the veterans and good old boys that used to go there every day. The old place had a way better vibe to it. This feels chaotic like people are confused. You have a whole bunch of staff that don't know what they're doing now and it's super noticeable. Fried chicken was delicious as always, but boy did I pay for it. Honestly, the wait time was just the worst part. That's my main complaint a full and I mean I'm not exaggerating here--an entire hour for one burger and one fried chicken sandwich that's insane and they didn't even offer to take anything off when it was all over. $90 for this experience and it was really frustrating. It was sad to us too because this used to be one of our favorite spots. Super bummed.

(not pictured but need highlighting because they're good) Onion Burger Mushroom Swiss Chicken Burger the fried Cauliflower (has turmeric spices) Lobster rolls also are top notch There's a similar burger to their house burger that's gotten a lot of hype in St. Paul, not naming names, but the one here blows that hyped one out of the water in my opinion. It's the weekend, go get a good burger and wings. Enjoy!

It was a nice little dive bar and it was not that busy at 6:30 pm on a Friday night. My server was really outgoing even though she said it was a busy night. She had a good sense of humor and kept things lighthearted. The food was very good, and the burger was a good size. The wings were crispy and delicious. The fries were well prepared as well. Overall I enjoyed the food and the pleasant staff. I recommend this place.
