Stopped by for a blizzard; they are out of ice cream. Literally what they sell and didn't order enough!?

We went for ice cream. Being in Raymond, this is good employment for high school kids, and the ones who waited on us were smart and eager. We got peanut buster parfaits, and unlike DQs in the Seattle area, these parfaits had hot fudge at the bottom, the middle and on top, and a full portion of vanilla "ice cream". Hard to complain when you get more than you expected. And the service was fast. We'll keep going back. read more

Customer service here is very friendly and the oyster shells in landscaping give it a real coastal feel. Check out the tree/fence on the drive thru side that borders the property. Amazing how they grew that. Really cool! Wish they still had the fish and chips on the local menu. Was the best fish and chips i ever had and was a staple of this DQ location. I would have left 5 stars if they still had it here. Also wish they never got rid of the DQ deluxe burger that came with bacon and the special sauce similar to big mac sauce. Now only got the plain style burgers. I reccomend the chicken strips with the side of gravy. If you love ice cream then don't come here because they dont even sell ice cream. They sell frozen dairy dessert. Which is when they do not meet the minimum requirement of Milk fat. Makes it not very creamy and is what the real cheap brands of so called ice cream brands use instead of paying extra few cents to make it right. The vanilla has no vanilla taste to it so if you do order a cone order it dipped in either chocolate or butterscotch or even cherry. Cherry is my favorite. The price of a cone or a blizzard is way overpriced. When i do order the blizzard I get the Oreo blizzard and ask if they can crush up the oreos better so you dont get a few qtr to half cookie sized pieces on top and no Oreo in the bottom . You will not find it on the menu but heres the secret order a quart of the swirl or twist which is the vanilla and chocolate swirled together in a take home qrt size container and at least you get a decent amount of flavor from the combinatation. Still only like $5 and you get as much as two lrg cones or more just minus the cone. read more

The employees here are great! They were super friendly even at 9:15 p.m. when they were getting ready to close. I hadn't had DQ in a very long time, but now I plan to make it my first option for a drive-thru on future trips. My husband ordered the chicken strips basket, which came with fries, gravy, and toast. I got the grilled chicken sandwich and we split the Reese's Blizzard. Everything came out hot (except for the Blizzard, ha). They microwave their food. I ordered the double burger. The meat was pre-cooked. They assembled it with all of the veggies and dressing, and then put it in the microwave to "melt the cheese". Microwaved bun, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, and mayo. Yuck!!!!! Any the meat itself had the texture of .......microwaved meat. read more

I keep trying this DQ when there are no other options and every time I regret going there. My last time there, it took 25 minutes from the time I got in the drive thru line to reach the window. There were only 3 cars ahead of me. I ordered 2 blizzards and 2 burgers. When I reached the window, they asked for the wrong amount. I said that's not me. They then told me they'd get my order asap. They gave us our blizzards first--8 minutes BEFORE the burgers were done. They began to melt...all over my car. The burgers had nothing but the beef. No tomato, onion, pickle or sauce. Just your average Dairy Queen. Nothing beyond the usual take your 4 blizzard to go order and the cups have ice cream dripping all down the sides and no lids. Besides the sticky mess, we all enjoyed them and they did turn them all upside down! I'll take it as a person who was newly hired and dont hold it against them. read more

This is one of the cleanest Dairy Queens I have been to. The chicken in the chicken strip basket and in the chicken sandwich were cooked well. Staff manages to cook the chicken so it is crispy on the outside while keeping the meat moist on the inside. Staff is pleasant and very helpful. Our order of 3 lunches, 2 milkshakes, and 1 ice cream came with very little waiting. The staff member at the register was kind enough to add chocolate to both the cherry and the strawberry milk shakes. In addition to the milkshakes having a decent sized large there is also an extra large milkshake available. The large strawberry and chocolate milkshake made a 94 year old man very happy that day! Next time we are in town we will get him the Extra Large. read more

Manager needs some management training. When I told her the free cone coupon was missing for one of the kids meals she told me that I complain too much. It has been two years since I have said anything about an order. She then told me if I don't like it to just not come back. A simple fix could have settle the matter. The food was fine but the service was horrible. We ordered 2 three pace nuggets, and two kids meals. I asked to have ice cream after we ate they said fine. It was a busy do so when i went back to the counter to get the ice cream the lady at the. Punter asked what kid of sundays for the nugfet meals. I told her what sundays and then that was it. So i waited and ak Sked if the kids meals came with ice cream. She said no they come with a coupon. So i went to grab the coupon off of the bag and went back to the counter where i then have to wait again. Once she finally came and talked to me again i asked yet again if the kids meals came with ice cream cause that is what it stated on the kids meal menu to pick from the choices and she again said they came with a coupon. So i gave her the coupon and then she asked what sundays I wanted to get. I told her i just wanted two ice cream cones but in a cup so we can take them to go. So I went to go pay the extra to get the cones that apparently did bot come with ice cream and she said they came with the meal.. i said that is what i already asked her and she said the coupon was to upgrade to a blizzard. This is the best Dairy Queen i've been to. In California the food was always smashed together without a care in the world. Here my Burgers & Chicken Sandwiches are always fresh and yummy. The food resembles the pictures alot of the time. And the fries are always fresh when I go. There was only one time they messed up my order but their customer service was nice and professional. They apologized and gave me an extra fry for their small mistake. Sucks that they no longer make their ranch cups! If you are a ranch dressing lover like me, I suggest their salad ranch packets. We stopped here on our way down to Long Beach. The service was fast, friendly. The food was good. I had the Chili Cheese Dog and they put plenty of chili and cheese on it. The fries were crisp. My only complaint was that I wished my peanut buster parfait had more chocolate in it. read more

We stopped here on our way down to Cannon Beach. Clean place, friendly staff promptly brought our food to the table. We had regular cheeseburger combos and split a large Pepsi product. I did fine, but my husband had an upset stomach within an hour, hence the mediocre end review--otherwise, would give this location a much higher rating. read more

This has to be worst DQ I have ever eaten. My bacon cheese burger came with no cheese and a microscopic piece of what looked like bacon. Hard to tell because it was see thru. Was on a drive down the coast, stopped to eat dinner at the dairy queen in raymond, wa. It was busy so we had to wait a bit for our meal, but someone I believe to be the manager gave us 2 free ice cream cones due to the wait. Really wasn't necessary, but the kind gesture was great.
