We had never asked for separate checks and I would have offered to pay on one check if it made it easier, but she left right after saying that. Towards the end of our stay, after paying and enjoying some last minute shakes (around 9:15pm, they close at 10), the same server started putting away the metal chairs VERY loudly and carelessly while we were still finishing up. We all watched her throw the chairs on top of each other as we stayed silent because we couldn't hear each other over her stacking them. We took the hint and left. Everyone inside the restaurant followed after. I assume because they, too, felt awkward as she was loudly cleaning up. As incredible as that wine was with the filet, it somehow paired even better (yes, I know that sounds impossible) with the slice of heaven they call chocolate cake. I'm sure it has a much fancier name on the menu, but "slice of heaven" seems more accurate. If you've read my other reviews, you know I have a tendency toward hyperbole.
