Should have read the reviews prior to ordering! We ordered two blizzards and a pack of dilly bars. We pull up to the window and the worker asks "what do you need" my husband tells him we what ordered and he looked beyond confused. My snickerdoodle cookie dough blizzard tasted old and some of the cookie dough was in my husbands strawberry ice cream! Then he hands us a bag full of dilly bars when it was supposed to be a box to go. I pulled them out of the sleeve and all of them had freeze ice and were stuck to the bag. Came in for a simple ice cream treat with wife. This is probably the dirtiest, run down locations I have ever been in. The staff don't seem to have any life and certainly no speed. There is a sign at register that says that if you complain they have the right to refuse service. The treats were no up to DQ's standards. The girl at cashier was completely rude and all because she misheard our order she got both drinks wrong and then was complaining right in front of us to her fellow staff. Ironic! they have a sign posted right by the register that says they reserve the right to refuse service to anyone being rude to the staff and yet the staff can say whatever the hell they want about you right in front of your face! Always out of popular items. Whatever teenager they have managing the place doesn't know how to keep a proper inventory of popular items. So after waiting in very slow line either inside or at drive thru, you are told of all the items they are currently out of. This has happened to me more than once. Much better off going to McDonalds across the street and just getting a Sunday for a dollar. read more

We drive all the way from AJ to the one on Crismon and Baseline now because last time we went to this one, we were horrified. The ice cream had a sour taste to it. Something was definitely wrong. My wife bought a 10 inch ice cream cake for my sons birthday last Friday 2/24. (purchased Thurs 2/23) I got halfway thru cutting and serving the cake when my son mentioned it seemed weird on his tongue so I tried a piece. It was completely freezer burnt all of the way through! We couldn't eat any of it. I saved the other half of the $30 cake so I could go back the next day. My wife spoke with a girl who claimed to be the assistant manager and explained what had happened. She told me complaints like that had to be dealt with by the general manager. She took down my contact info and said she would get a call Monday. It is now Wed. and I have still not heard back so I called once again this evening. I spoke with a man who said he was the owner. In a heavy broken accent I was told to just cut the frost bitten parts off and that we need to learn how to prepare it ahead of time. EXCUSE ME?!?! My wife a full time restaurant manager and I was a chef for a very long time. We both know how to properly handle food and guest complaints! This is ridiculous! We buy these for every holiday since my kids do not like cake. I know how to let them rest before serving and I know what freezer burnt product tastes like. This DQ is terrible. I get the same thing every time and it gets messed up the same way every time. No matter how clear I make the order. I always get two empty cones with my blizzard. I always tell them just cones no ice cream in them. They always charge me for full cones. Then the old man gives me incorrect change back and acts like I caused a problem by only wanting cones. This order never seems to get messed up at other DQs. Very incompetent staff and not worth the wait. You are better off driving to the one on power it will take about the same amount of time and your order will be correct. read more

Never have I experienced such horrible customer service as I just did at this location. I asked for a medium chocolate milkshake and noticed the manager I guess he was a manager putting milk in with the ice cream. Told him the other Dairy Queen's do not make milkshakes like that so I left to go he presents my milkshake to me it's watery with a total different consistency than what I'm used to from other dairy queens. I asked him to add ice cream to the milkshake and he said no remakes. Then I asked him to remake the entire milkshake and he said no remakes. Then I asked for my $4.13 to be refunded and he told me no refunds go to court because there are no refunds at his store. The next time I want a milkshake from Dairy Queen I'll drive to the Superstition mall Please do not ever go to this man store if you expect to be treated decently because he does not understand that. So this is sadly the third time I have tried to eat at this Dairy Queen, and all three times, they have completely struck out. The first time I ate here, my food was cold, the condiments on my burger were overflowing, and I honestly couldn't even finish anything I ordered. Thinking I just caught them on a bad day, I went there again several months later for dinner. The fries were UNDERCOOKED to the point that they were nearly raw and cold and the gravy they gave me in the chicken strip basket had barely anything in the container and was watery. At that point, I had resigned myself to the fact that this store just didn't care about the quality of their food and I would never try to eat there again. Well, today, my fiance was really craving some chicken strips so we went through the drive thru and I begrudgingly decided to give them one more chance. They were rude from the get go, starting with the fact that they refused to add BBQ sauce to a bacon cheeseburger only 10 minutes after their lunch ended. So I settled for a regular bacon cheeseburger. Then my fiance went to order his food, including a blizzard. They rudely stated they don't carry the kind of blizzard he was ordering, then stated the total of $6 at the window, which didn't even include his chicken strip basket and they didn't give him a chance to order a different blizzard or a drink! My fiance then asked to speak to the manager and got the name of the manager and the store number to call and file a complaint. She didn't ask what was wrong, and when he tried to explain it to her, an employee came up and interrupted while he was explaining and tried to put the blame on him. Instead of even trying to correct it, the manager agreed and put the blame on my fiance. So unless you want nasty, undercooked food and rude customer service, you are better off at the McDonalds across the street. read more

They only flipped one of our blizzards upside down, when i got it i saw why, it was so runny they should have at least gave me a straw so i could drink it that's how watery it was. Both of which were completely melted and could be eaten anyways. Their "sundae" was just strawberries that I did try one bite of a strawberry of actually and it tasted awful. We ate here this afternoon and asked to use the restrooms. The women's restroom door was locked and she couldn't get it open so she told me to use the men's. There was no lock on the door, the toilet paper was gone, and the dryer didn't work. It was also filthy. The windows in the dining area were also filthy. The woman employee (didn't get her name) was just standing behind the counter texting. The service was very slow. In all fairness, the food was good. Ok so this just happened to me....my daughter & son went & got an ice cream cake from Dairy Queen in Apache Jct AZ for my hubby & dad. She paid shy of $30.00 for it. When we went to eat it we realized very quickly that the chocolate ice cream in it was incredibly sour and stopped eating it immediately to the point it even smelled. I realized it was bad (mind you there was no sticker or expiration or made on date on it).... I called the facility and ask for the manager the person that answered the phone said they were the manager and her name was Teresa, she said if I return the cake she would refund my money, then hung up the phone on me. I then took the cake back immediately in its whole to get my refund & or a new one and you will not believe what happened?!?! The *manager* through the cake back @ me, i caught it. I asked for the owner they told me"to go f*ck myself and leave"... I cannot believe that this happened i tried to get my camera out asap to record it, a person of Oriental background came out from the back and started screaming profanity in Chinese at me and then I told him that I would call the police and have them handle it, he then proceeded to jump in his car and drive away almost hitting me in the parking lot.. I can't believe that this even happened and I'm not quite sure who I should report this to but I feel like this is a very big violation and Incredibly unprofessional and inappropriate to throw an item at a patron who was asking for refund is it totally out of control. Then to curse and make a scene at them!?! For a moment I thought I was in the Twilight Zone. Does anybody have any ideas as to what to do to report this?
