This Dairy Queen is two things. 1. Not closed. 2. Poorly ran. I'm struggling to get over a Dairy Queen having an "order" and a "pick up" line. Ice cream is very fast to make, so instead of people waiting in one long line, they wait in two. Now like most people I have been to many different Dairy Queen locations and this is the first time I've experienced this strange set up. The ice cream itself was a typical for a Dairy Queen and that's just what I was craving tonight. I ordered a vanilla cone with chocolate sprinkles (Kept it simple) and enjoyed every lick. Overall, I wouldn't come back here on a weekend just because the line situation is very annoying to look it, but maybe mid day!

It's 80 degrees on a great Wednesday the 9th day. What better way than to start my afternoon off with a trip to DQ. Oooh how great it is to sip down a cherry Misty float. Do yourself a favor and grab one now and maybe another later.

So I heard from a friend that Dairy Queen has a new dip for cones... ORANGE CREAMSICLE!! Yes I said it!! ORANGE CREAMSICLE!! So of course that's a FAVE of just about everyone and I HAD TO HAVE IT!! I called the Harlem St location before going because I wasn't sure if it made it into my area and the lady who answered the phone confirmed that they did!! YESSSSSS!! So I throw on my jacket and shoes and head out to DQ.. It was AMAZING!! It is a MUST HAVE!! I went yesterday and I will be returning today!!

Ice cream again!!! (That makes 2 days in a row lol) Dairy Queen is a classic place to come for soft serve ice cream, smoothies, banana split and of course the famous Blizzard. There are many other options as well. I do love the ice cream here but I don't like the prices. I ordered 2 small vanilla comes with sprinkles, 1 small chocolate with sprinkles, medium twist with sprinkles, and 1 small cheesecake blizzard. All of that = a little over $16! When did ice cream become so expensive? On top of the price I'm not feeling the seating either, most Dairy Queens around are walk up service with few benches. This one only had 3 on each side of the building . Doesn't really work when it's peak ice cream time and the line is to the street. I miss DQ Grill and Chill. I'm not a fan of sitting in the car with my ice cream.

You ever just want to say f* it. "I want to spend excess amount of money on ice cream" you are going to the right place! No it's not the same stuff you can buy down the street at tops! It's soft, like we left it out of the freezer for 10 minutes. But we did it without leaving condensation all over the container, we just make it that way. Premelted for your enjoyment! If that is not enough we have other ice cream kinda stuff mixed with cookies!

Come on it's ice cream! I always get the butterfinger blizzard. I get the baby size too because a large is just too damn big!

I stopped for my favorite blizzard, Summer Berry Cheesecake, only to be told that was LAST SUMMER'S FLAVOR.

I've stopped by this location every once in a while for years. If you go there during the day, you…read moreshould be fine, but once that night crew clocks in, I've seen anything happen. They really be goofing off, letting the line back up, getting orders wrong, closing dining or the whole place early. I swear it's new workers same attitude every year too. I really do feel bad for that one maybe two kids that work the late shift and put a little effort in. Hate to give it one star when they've had there moments, just their worst is unbelievably bad.

But I can guarantee you that I am well-acquainted with this drive-thru to write a fully authorized first-person review. We moved about a year ago, and this McDonald's has become my preferred most convenient McDonald's location. There is a McDonald's a bit closer on Harlem, and a few others not much further than this one, but this Main St. store is more reliable than all those. My shame-eating of burgers at those other locations is still my business, but trust me, I know. The drive-thru service here is perfectly fine. Some window attendants are more friendly than others, some are simply there, but they are all nice enough and get the job done. My order is taken accurately, and if there is a line, it typically moves at a reasonable pace. During pandemic times, all clerks here have been masked and gloved. Masks are worn appropriately, from what I have seen. The food at this McDonald's is solid McDonald's chow. I always stick to the cheaper side of he menu, usually with $2 double cheeseburgers and $1 large diet Cokes. The burgers are served warm, with consistent quality. They have that quintessential, unmistakable McDonald's flavor profile. You like them, or you don't. I like them. I think they are laced with shame-addicts, that keep me in the drive-thru line, more than I care to admit, as aforementioned. When I'm being good, I'll go months without coming through this McDonald's drive-thru. But when I'm in a shame-eating funk, this McDonald's drive-thru fuels my shame-fire. The McDonald's app deals are great savings, the service is friendly and fast enough, and the food is consistent. So I'll see you in the shame-line ... just don't make eye contact.

They even give out promotions, I got a free fry for spending 15.00 via the kiosk, which was easy to do as there burgers average about that price. Three burgers (doubles) with the free fry was 40.00 bucks. The smash burgers are very good, cooked perfect with great seasoning. The bun to burger ratio is off, the burgers are way bigger than the buns! I did get a bunless burger. The service was great the ladies behind the counter were working there butts off with a smile. The fires were delicious, crispy and seaosned, I love a good crinkle fry!!

I am shocked at the reviews for this Shake Shack because my first in-restaurant experience was…read morephenomenal. I arrived with my son for dinner on a Tuesday night and was able to use a kiosk right away. The system was user-friendly but there wasn't an option to add extra bacon (for the extra bacon orderers out there). We grabbed a number to dine in and found our table. The dining room was clean, and all but one table was bussed, which is not bad by any restaurant's standards. Our food was brought to our table in probably 7 minutes. I ordered the double bacon cheeseburger with crispy onions and my son got the chicken sandwich with the herb mayo. For sides, we got the spicy fries and onion rings. I grabbed some napkins from the plentiful (and full) dispensers located near the shelves by the front counter. Wow. These were the best meals we'd each had in some time. My son said it was literally the best chicken sandwich he's ever eaten, enough to want to be the one to write the review in the feedback survey sent to me via text. A teenage boy wanting to write a food review should tell you something. And just look at my burger. Looking like the star it was. Basking in the sunlight during golden hour. Made perfectly and was as good as it looked, if not, better. It was juicy, and cooked perfectly. The little sleeve that my burger came in was not my favorite. It served its purpose but I may have preferred it being lightly wrapped in one of those foil lined papers. The sides were perfect as well. Crispy, fresh onion rings, that were nice thick slices of onion. The spicy fries were nice and crispy too, and weren't your standard cajun. The shakes for dessert were delicious and tasted like real ice cream. I can't speak highly enough about the service on our visit. The young lady, unprompted, refilled our drinks at least 2 or 3 times during our meal and even offered to refill our drinks before we left. We ordered our shakes to go, after our meal and she continued being attentive! When she saw we had another table number, she checked in on us and asked what we ordered so we weren't waiting too long. My only contention is the price. It is more expensive than fast food by a bit. However, in my opinion, Shake Shack shouldn't be judged alongside McDonald's but more Five Guys in the middle ground between fast food and casual sit-down. But that being said, based on this experience, Shake Shack beats any other burger chain, by a long shot.
