Grew up going to this Dairy Queen and have never been disappointed. Everything from the cherry red benches to the laminated menu of 50+ blizzards gives this location character and warmth. Yes it's "run by kids", as a previous reviewer noted; however the service is always quick and friendly. The ice cream is delicious, the portions are HUGE, and the atmosphere is relaxing. read more

We went there on 3/20 for free cone day and the store was telling everyone they needed to make a purchase. The website advertises as free cones no strings attached. I am not sure why the district manager decides to do bait and switch and try to make profit out of this day. Horrible ethics. I used to like this location but they have lost my business. Owners should be ashamed to do that to all the people who came out!! read more

This Dairy Queen location is dishonest and a scam. Just went there tonight for Free Cone Night (3/20/2025, first day of spring) and they were not giving out free cones. They had signs up all over the inside and outside of the store advertising free cones, but when we got to the counter they charged us even though we tried to order the plain vanilla cone that was supposed to be free. We sat and watched as they did this to every other customer too. They had a line out the door and we're ripping everyone off by charging at the last second. Ridiculous. They should refund everyone's money for false advertisement. I've already filed a complaint with corporate. read more

Me and my friends had a Sub-Par experience at this CERTAIN LOCATION of dairy queen. Every other dairy queen i've been to has been very good, but this one was horrible. First off, they had no vanilla Icecream, and the machine looked run down to the pipe. And when my ice cream machine mechanical friend offered to help, he got greeted with a rude "no thanks, we have ur under control". Secondly, they had multiple vaped out in the open to the public seen by little kids. If you really want these kids to see this, you should be ashamed of yourself. Also, the signs outside were so hard to comprehend and see so I could barely see that there was a Dairy Queen here. I would never recommend this Dairy Queen and my worst enemy, and stay away from this at all cost. Also, the Giant across the street is very poor looking. The ice cream was fine, however at around 9:30 I called to confirm what time they closed.. a girl answered the phone and said we close soon.. not "oo we close at 10, or we are just closing". I was right around the corner and as I pulled up people were still eating inside and being served. Clearly the employee didn't want any more business for the night. I haven't had problems here before and there aren't a lot of options in the area but I really have to complain about my kid's birthday cake I got over the weekend. I asked for a sheet cake with mint chocolate chip on top and chocolate ice cream on the bottom layer. Had no idea it would turn out to be the most hideous (but still delicious) cake ever. Good thing my kid didn't know the difference. For some reason they don't frost the top so all you see is an ugly grayish green cake and to top it off they scribbled a message in chicken scratch using cheap icing you can buy at the supermarket. Do not go to this Dairy Queen. I called to order a cotton candy blizzard cake on 10/18/19 to be picked up on 10/22/19. I spoke to a young kid who was unprofessional and told me to call back in 5 minutes, which I brushed off. Ordered my cake, and when I called today to confirm before driving to pick it up, the woman I spoke to told me they didn't have it. She then was adamant that I never ordered the cake, and called the wrong location. I will ABSOLUTELY not give this Dairy Queen any of my future business. read more

I like this Location and the products. I often take home a grab bag for later they're fun and a good deal sometimes it's awesome you might get real lucky and find a blizzard or ice cream with chocolate sprinkles. I guess these are orders that were messed up and also ice creams at the start or end of the day when the machines are turned off or on. Of course you don't know what to Expect. However the last few times I was very disappointed as I got one cup that was so small (the other had a decent amount with vanilla ice cream). However the 2nd cup was a cone so very small it wouldn't even qualify as a kiddy cone.Usually with a grab bag you should get MORE than you pay for since you don't get to choose your flavors or items (personally I like chocolate or twist ) And so I can't even complain the most time Lately I've gotten two vanilla's !! One vanilla was the size of a medium to large which would be three dollars but when the second cones were about $.50 worth of ice cream at the most then it seem like a rip. Because paying three dollars I could just order what I want.I think in a grab bag a second item should be at least the size of a small cup/cone. To make it worth a purchase Although I have in the past found a blizzard and or 2 decent size cones, lately this isn't happening not sure if somebody else is making up the grab bag? read more

This is the worst dairy queen I have ever been to in my life. Service was terrible and they ran out of ICE CREAM at an ice cream shop because there was a "big crowd" before we came. Sorry but if you primarily serve ice cream you shouldn't run out of it. I asked for a hot brownie sunday and he gave me a brownie blizzard! He also charged my friend when she asked for more a little more cookie dough in her blizzard when there was clearly none in it to start with. I wish I could give this negative stars, but that's not an option. I don't even know why I returned here with my family. Poor judgement on my part. The last time we were here every blizzard we asked for they couldn't make because they were out of a bunch of stuff, this time they were out of stuff with a snotty teen-age attitude thrown in for good measure. I ordered the pumpkin pie blizzard expecting to taste maybe like pumpkin pie. It was just pumpkin purée in ice cream with whipped cream on top and too much spicy, crappy, nutmeg powder on top. It sucked, big time. Flavorless cup of s**t. Something tells me this is NOT the way this is supposed to be made. This place is filthy, the people behind the counter are brainless and they give off an attitude. It's like a bootleg DQ. Writing a letter to corp HQ to get my $16 back because they didn't serve my stupid blizzard upside down and I tossed my "pumpkin pie" blizzard in the trash after 2 bites because it was disgusting. Just picked up ice cream for my grandmother and I from here. I asked for a Peanut Buster Parfait with extra fudge and peanuts. All the extra fudge and peanuts was put in the bottom of the plastic cup. I asked for a medium blizzard and it certainly doesn't look like a medium blizzard. Plus the person that rang up my order didn't give me my card back, I had to ask for it back. He also had absolutely no idea what he was doing. I checked my bank account to make sure I wasn't charged more than once. And then another employee said my total was 9.75..the other just charged me 9.73. Two different totals..9.73 was correct by the way. And he didn't believe me either. I was like here is my receipt. I just paid. He said "oh..okay. Have a nice night." And another time I was there they RAN out of milk. How do you do that? You are an ice cream place. And another time I was told the owner had bought raw cookie dough for the cookie dough blizzards because the right cookie dough stuff never came in. Great way to make someone sick. Took my daughter and my 8 month pregnant self to Dairy Queen to get blizzards. Cashier has a problem running my gift card through the machine so asks me if I have cash...told her I did not. She then proceeded to tell me she was calling the police if I didn't pay the $9. I burst into tears. She started yelling at me telling me it's not her fault and not her problem but I had to pay. Which I understand, but I had a gift card, no cash and no credit cards on me. I offered to give the blizzards back but she said No bc we had started eating them. I also offered to come back the next day when I had cash and once again told me it wasn't her problem and she was going to call the police. I asked what I could do to fix the problem. So she called the manager who talked to me over the phone and felt so bad I was crying and said he would take care of it. I walked out of there hysterically crying meanwhile cashier is still yelling at me as I walk out. read more
