Haven't visited this location in years. Pull into drive way next to building. Ample parking available. Service was friendly and welcoming. Walk up order window, small bleacher benches on side of building to hang out. Right off Magnolia just look for the DQ sign. The New York cheesecake blizzard was so good! Graham cracker crust, strawberries and chunks of cheesecake. Perfect combination.

Nothing difficult about serving icecream in a cup and adding a M&Ms topping!!!
    Dan P.

Came in on Saturday 4/4/26 and asked the young lady at the cash register that I wanted a vanilla icecream in a cup with a M&M topping . She said I'm sorry we can't do that . I was in a disbelief as I have ordered this for the past 20 years any time I come to Dairy Queen, she explained it's against her policy and in no matter tried to help or resolve my request . I continued to explain to her that what I am asking for is very straight forward and simple nothing hard about serving vanilla icecream and adding M&ms on it ? She then told me she do a blizzard and I told her no I don't want the M&ms mixed in . She was completely unhelpful and knew she made no sense . This place gas no customer service skills and apparently adding a topping is to much work for them . Complete waist of time! So I left and went to the other Dairy Queen on California street . They were able to help me out no problem . This location on Magnolia looks disgusting old small and gross . Do yourself a favor and drive an extra 5 min for a much better Dairy Queen experience! MAGNOLIA STORE NEEDS BETTER WORKERS WHO WANT TO HELP CUSTOMERS WHO WANT TO ENJOY ICECREAM. I would rate my experience a Zero!!! Terrible experience. Thank GOD the other location has real workers who care about customer satisfaction! Please enjoy the photo I have attached of my delicious icecream with M&Ms ! I recommend this style is worth a try ! Just make sure not to ask for it at the Magnolia location because they can't do it !

Xiomara was absolutely amazing. She served us with a smile and gave us wonderful suggestions. My caramel sundae was perfect, and the ambiance was wonderful.

Americana and once ubiquitous with spring to fall, at least in Michigan, DQ can be found in many cities and sometimes along rural highways (Magnolia in Riverside is part of Historic Route 395). This location is open year around though and only serves ice cream and beverages. It's a popular spot and appeals to families enough to almost always have a longish line waiting to order during hours of operation. Aside from occasional new or promotional items the menu here is fairly orthodox. Diverse with options, something new has occurred though, I overhead an employee telling a kid ahead of me in line that for his Sundae whipped cream and nuts are separate charges now. I loved their soft serve ice cream as a kid and it's practically the same today, but here's to mass appeal and relative simplicity!

I was excited to try the cookie crunch then it was sold out but great customer service! Hopefully next time I can try it.

    $2 Mango misty freeze....tastes like a smoothie!
    Tosha L.

The misty freeze is so good....to me, it tastes like a smoothie. It sounds kind of hesitant to try, when you think of a slushie mixed with ice cream. I had a deal to get any size for $2, so I couldn't pass that up. Even if I didn't like it, at least I wouldn't have spent too much money on it. Not knowing if I'd enjoy it or not, I decided to get a Large, I mean, may as well, it was going be the same price for any size regardless. I ordered the mango one and it was so good and tropical tasting. I relieved to have it taste like a smoothie, because I couldn't imagine for the life of me, what it could possibly taste like.

I rarely come to this location because it's always so crowded. I stopped by today around 9 pm for some ice cream. I used the deal in my app for $1 small dipped cone. The cone was good, but not worth the 20 minutes I had to wait to get a $1 discount on it. At least other people were waiting in line for blizzards & shakes. The problem is the other location is much further away. It's not worth driving so far and this location has the worst service. There were 4 workers, but it still seemed incredibly slow. They need to learn how to run an assembly line and work more efficiently. Now, I see why they don't take online orders, because they can barely handle the walk in orders. Go to another Dairy Queen location.

    15 deep in line!

We came by this location last night after having sushi down the street! This is one of their original location in a old building that has been updated with better electricity! The line is long but goes by fast! It's all about the ice cream! You just need to try it and then you'll be hooked!

YAY! Idk if the last girl left but allergy accommodation was awesome this time around!! Whoever the cashier was that tended between 9pm-10pm on 5/17 on the right register deserves some recognition bec she provided a great service without any hassle. We greatly appreciated it On a side note yeah it's gonna be busy what did people expect is the closest one in riverside LOL I don't think they can go any faster, everyone and their mothers comes here, give them a break or go somewhere else LMAO.

My family loves dairy queen. My favorite is their peanut covered chocolate frozen banana. The kids love the dipped cones every time.

Not much to say. It's DQ. It tasted like every other DQ which is a good thing.

UGH. MY FAVE FAVE SPOT EVER ! Please come to San Diego County we need you !! I've practically been…read moreto every location they have, but this was my first time at the Riverside location. I bring every friend I know here because everyone has to try this spot at least once. Ana was beyond friendly and helped us so much! You really need patience for this position and this girl gots it !! I'm glad I got to try the taro mixed with the coconut and salted caramel. It tasted exactly like the samoas girl scout cookie ! I was obsessed. I also tried a few other flavors she suggested, but ended up choosing the samoas flavor and orange since I wanted that orange creamsicle taste. With so many flavors and combos, you're almost guaranteed to find something you'll like no matter what you're into. I got a regular size because I wanted two different flavors. If you get the small, you can't do layers which is good to know. I was going to order a crepe, but they had a 30 minute wait which was a bummer since it was late and I was driving back to San Diego County. Don't get discouraged by lines, they move fairly quick and trust me, it's def worth the wait! 10000/10 Plenty of parking and a decent amount of seating. They do get super busy, so trash cans were overflowing. No restrooms, just FYI.

We stopped in and got vanilla cream soft serve with peanut butter and strawberry sorbet, and wow…read more.. what an unexpectedly amazing combo. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by Genesis, who was phenomenal. She immediately offered us samples and asked if we had tried the sorbet yet. When I mentioned peanut butter and strawberry, she said she was going to mix them--even though it sounds a little weird--because it tastes just like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. She was absolutely right. It was incredible. (that one we got inside small) We also ordered a medium sorbet cream which was huge and came with a whole second layer of flavors. First layer: lemon, pineapple, sour apple, and mango. Second layer: sorbet cream with horchata, coconut, salted caramel, and coffee. The mix of fruity and creamy flavors was so good and honestly such a fun combo to try. We also grabbed a bananas foster crepe which i highly recommend . I do wish this was part of a select option rather than choose your own adventure but oh well! still good. Between the creative flavors and Genesis's awesome service, the whole experience was great. Definitely coming back!
