It's honestly out of this world, and I find myself coming back for lunch several times a week because I just can't get enough. Their paninis and hot dogs are also fantastic, and everything always tastes fresh and thoughtfully made. On top of the great food, the staff here is incredibly friendly. Every visit feels welcoming, and you can tell they genuinely care about their customers. Homespun has become one of my favorite spots in town, and I can't recommend it highly enough!

One of us ordered a single vanilla on a waffle cone. Dude must have put in extra, because it was HUGE. The triple scoop s'mores frozen custard wasn't so big, but it was creamy and tasty. Burgers and chicken were greasy, not in a good way. Lots of oil at the bottom of the chicken cup. Double Cavern buns were soaked in oil. Other than the oil, the meat was good. Nothing special…read more.. Someone said that when we were in Frederick that we needed to try the milkshakes at Maxwell's. We were and we did. On the plus side was the pleasant staff. The kids that were working there seemed like they enjoyed their jobs. I also liked that the restrooms were spotless. On the negative side was that the place was cramped and dingy. And, there were also some foul, food-related, smells on the way the the spotless restroom. And, on the "meh" side was the milkshake itself. I ordered a strawberry shake. What I got was some vanilla custard(-like stuff) with some strawberry syrup and a bit of jam stirred in.
