Great ice cream, and one of the only 12 month ice cream places around these parts. Always count on them for having a neat flavor or two in the cooler - last time was Graham Central Station. Very good, well blended milkshakes and they can make egg creams right too. The ice cream pies look fantastic. Need to come up with an occasion for one so I can take the ride over to get one. In the warmer months, there are some cool big boulders for the kiddos to climb on on the safe side of the parking lot. Gets them to burn off a little sugar before piling back into the car. read more

My friend and I saw this location as we were driving to Grand Cascades Resort which was only a couple miles away. From the road it looked like it had a homey and welcoming feel and it also didn't help that we. love. ice cream. As we were leaving New Jersey to return to Boston, we had to make a pit stop at 11 am into Dairy Swirl and it was the best decision we made all day! When we walked in a very nice man behind the counter welcomed us with 2 rather large spoonfuls of their seasonal Gingerbread Man and Carrot Cake ice cream to sample. It was divine! It was creamy, home-made, fresh with chunks of gingerbread and real shreds of carrot. The man also let us sample other various delicious ice creams but he sold us on the samples. We both got two large cones, one of the Gingerbread Man and one Carrot Cake and they were HUGE. We left happy, smiling, with the slight feeling of nostalgia as if we were kids.
